Rossella in Camden

Had my 30th here and the team were completely accommodating of it. Some of the best Italian food I've had in London, and all everyone kept saying after we left was how nice the food was. Could not recommend more.

I will definitely be coming back, thank you for making the birthday cake.

I loved my lunch at Rosellas, the atmosphere was calm and filled with Christmas spirit. We had a large group of people and everyone enjoyed their food. The highlight was the Aubergine parmigiana. We also had kids with us and the staff went out of their way to keep them happy, this included providing crayons and activity paper, and serving their food first. For the adults we all agreed the cocktails were top notch, (in particular the negroni and cocktail with the olives?) wine delicious and desserts decadent. It was a really great meal. Thank you John and team Rossella.

Every visit to this gem of a restaurant is brilliant. The food is excellent quality, and service cannot be faulted. This place has true heart.

Tasty food. The pizza was great. The cheese on the Lasagna was a bit strong for my liking, but still a great meal.

The steak was absolutely gorgeous. So were the sautéed potatoes. One of the best dishes I have had from an Italian restaurant. Keep up the excellent work.

I’ll start off with the pros as they outweigh the cons… The restaurant itself is very cute and has the Italian family vibe! The pizza was super tasty and flavourful too. The waiters were also friendly and smiley. However, my carbonara did not taste how I imagined or like other ones I’ve tasted at Italian restaurants. This one was super creamy, as if it was made of cream and not eggs yolks and parmigiano. I don’t maybe the way you cook it depends on the region but I thought that there’s only one way to make it (with eggs and parmiagiano). Therefore the cream flavour was a bit of a let down. The colour was also a giveaway that it wasn’t made of eggs since the sauce was even white in colour. Idk maybe they make it differently?!

My friend and I chose to meet up here as the area is halfway to us now living on either side of London. Rossella was absolutely great. We had pizzas on this occasion but no doubt we'll be back. The atmosphere was very authentic and service so attentive.

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, much nicer than it appears from the outside. I was a bit disappointed by the Lasagne, it was more a tomato soup than Lasagne, expected better. The pizza looked nice, will try it maybe.

Best place to eat whenever there is an occasion or an ordinary day

Had the loveliest dinner last night, celebrating our anniversary. All staff were amazing and the pizza was soo good. We will return.

The food was good, service was better, and the drinks were GREAT!

Rossella did the catering for our small wedding at a local pub and were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Luca was always so professional and great to deal with, and the food on the day was delicious. I was so happy to have one of our favourite local restaurants cater our wedding. Thanks Luca!

I don't get it. This is a just an average but well over-priced Italian eaterie. They rush you in, try hard to over-sell you booze then rush you out asap. CITRO is better.

I showed up on Friday night with no reservation. They were super nice and made room for me. Had a wonderful meal. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely eat here again!

It was our first time here, everything was amazing. Especially Loved the brushcetta, seabass and tiramisu. The service is the best, everyone is very genuine and friendly. Definitely coming back!

Visit here at least once a week. Food is incredible, especially the nduja pizza and lasagne. Big shout out to John. Always welcome us with a warm smile and is always super attentive and friendly. Would highly recommend!

A real Italian restaurant, food perfect, staff so professional and friendly.

This was amazing! We ordered a load of starters (all delicious) and the lasagna was perfection. Also can't skip the tiramisu! Will deffo be coming back.

Get the Tiramisu. It easliy the best ive ever had. Perfection. The spag bol was also delicious! Friendly staff too!

Ordered some food and had an issue with the Uber driver giving us the wrong food. Rosella were great when we reordered and included some complementary bits to apologise for the hassle (not even their fault!). Food was also great, will be ordering again

What a great find. Super Italian food, drink and service in this family-run restaurant. We drank the family’s excellent red wine and ate Pizza Diablo and Veal Esalope with spaghetti. Every dish was delicious! The fresh pasta with truffles was amazing.

Just returned from dinner at your legendary establishment sorely disappointed. Food was mediocre (eg underdone zucchini frittatti, pasta not al dente) and service was quite atrocious. Constant harassment by both waiters and maitre d'. You should look to your laurels and start defending your reputation.

Great local Italian restaurant!

Excellent food and service to be had at this establishment. I had the Brushetta di pomodoro starter and pollo milanese (chicken escalope) with spaghetti in a tomato sauce, my partner had arancini pancetta and the pollo milanese. The service was attentive without being intrusive. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and will definitely return.

Such a wonderful place to dine. Great service, delicious and authentic Italian cuisine. The Rossella Family red wine was delicious! Meloncello too!!

I am a regular at Rossella and they are always really friendly, homely and welcoming. We was served Afnan who was especially helpful, was attentive, great service. Food is so comforting and delicious as per usual. I can’t fault this place and I will never stop coming!

Family run “hidden” gem . Have eaten there several times. Food reliable - simple but well prepared. Service efficient and usually friendly. We’ve had generous freebies in the past but on this occasion- despite saying it was a wedding anniversary there was nothing. They seem to focus this on new customers as the couple next to us were offered a free drink “ as it is your first visit “. My pizza was middling and since sampling other places recently , I noticed not quite as good as them. They are deservedly popular and one of the few genuine honest eateries in the area offering straightforward food at sensible prices. But we felt a little under appreciated so won’t be rushing back for a while.

A hidden gem! I saw Rosella on social media and as we happened to be visiting the area we booked a table. I'm so glad I did! The staff were really welcoming and accommodating, the food was absolutely delicious (I'd highly recommend the ricotta and truffle fresh pasta!) as were the cocktails. I'd also recommend sitting outside on a warm evening, it adds to the Italian feel!

Great local restaurant. Food was fantastic and the service was brilliant. We had, Pasta Rossella, Lasagne and Bolognese. Everyone was very happy with their meals for all three courses. The staff were very hospitable. Special mention for how clean the restrooms were too!

Amazing food and service. The pasta was as good or even better than the ones I tried in Rome or Florence. Rosella is my favourite Italian resto in London and also it’s a deli so you can buy your own pasta, salsa and make it at home. Will definitely be coming back.

Rosella is a neighbourhood favourite for a reason!! Food is so lovely, vibe is great (especially in the summer) and the staff are incredible. Special shout out to John who’s the front of house and really embodies the spirit of the place - we love him! Does get busy so definitely book ahead if you can, but also super close to the Heath if you fancy a stroll past to try your luck - would recommend!

What can I say! I came here on my 30th birthday and John, the head of front of house, was there and was so lovely. I’d just lost my dad and it was a tough birthday - but the food, service and atmosphere made me feel like 1% normal. Fast forward to now, and John is here, being a total sweetie and even gave us some olive oil to take home. In this economy!! Can’t recommend enough!

Never disappoints, I've had my last 4 birthdays here and my partner and I have brought friends and family here many more times. The staff are friendly, helpful and the food is incredible.

Consistently good - just wish that the food didn’t come out so fast, almost like they want you in and out as quickly as possible! Not the best vibe for an anniversary dinner, didn’t feel very romantic or relaxed, unfortunately, but food is great and house wine is good.

Another lovely long lunch in this friendly and classy local Italian. Mains were great. Gelato spot on (Coconut particularly delicious according to my special guest).

Wow, wow, wow! An unforgettable and great value date night for my lady's birthday. Served, mainly, by a lovely woman who was so smiley and kind to us. Great service where the only fault was some miscommunication noticed between two waitresses with what stage of ordering we were at, but this was only noticed from my own experience in hospitality, and it was still top! Food was superb , please discover for yourself and we shall be returning again. Can't wait :) Only downside was how we were seated in between two couples but it was a busy night and this died down quickly so we could feel more intimate as the restaurant was closing.

Great place to eat before the O2 Kentish Town. Loved it.

Ordered 2 pizzas for delivery, took 2 hours and arrived cold, bland and unapologetic. Better pizza places in Kentish Town. Shame, always thought they were good, not any more… on deliveries at least. Pretty poor overall. Base was like concrete! Won’t be eating here again at home or in the restaurant. Recommend Bebere down the road! Could have built my own oven, set the fire, bought the ingredients and made the pizza in the time these pizzas took to cook and arrive.
