Looks better than it tastes. I got the cinnamon bun and Nutella filled doughnut. The bun had a hair on it when I got home. For that reason alone I wouldn’t go back. But both items were very average taste wise. The man at the till however was so sweet and friendly. Shame the food was mediocre and unsanitary.

me and my boyfriend love this cafe! food is always great (especially the pastries!) and coffee isn't as overpriced as local coffee shops are. the staff are great too, always welcoming and serve quickly. would definitely recommend 👍🏻👍🏻

I saw the fresh Cinnamon Buns at 3.30am last night and the Baker at work! So, obviously Saturday morning here is where I went! Delicious, soft, cinnamon flavour perfect....eating it was extra special because the staff where lovely, friendly and chatty!

Had breakfast here on Sunday Very good quality and being from NYC I fancy myself a sophisticated foodie Scrambled egg with bacon on a buttered roll (in the US the roll isn't buttered but cheese is added) And the best coffee in London so far Staff are attentive and friendly everything was fresh- I also decided to have an apple turnover Prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were good If you are in Camden town on Sunday- or any day for that matter its worth a stop

Great unpretentious bakery. Lovely cakes, doughnuts, bread and sandwiches, salads and some hot food. Friendly staff. Would be brilliant if they offered delivery via Uber eats etc

Food looks amazing, stopped by and bought a whole bunch of things but when I got home, I found items missing even though I saw the server packing the items. A bit disappointed- please do check your items before you leave.

Not busy, reasonable prices, good food.

I had wanted to come and get mushrooms on homemade toast with cheese on top if they could do it. They had homemade bread and they had mushrooms that they put on the toasted buttered bread. Sherif was so accommodating and he and the other lovely staff made this for me. He said to me if they have this they will make it for me. He was very kind. With this I had oat coffee and this delicious orange and syrup Danish. It was lovely food Not only was this accommodated for. They also had a hot breakfast section with other homemade sandwiches and cakes.

Sherif was wonderful. Attentive and proactive, he made the experience that much better in addition to the well sized portion served on the English breakfast

Ordered and paid for a Birthday cake. On the website it says collection till 8pm. I got there at 7.15 and the women inside did not want to give the cake as she closed at 7. I told her the website said its 8pm and that the cake is already paid for to which she replied she doesn't care and won't give me the cake. Absolutely disgraceful customer service as its a pre ordered customised cake so it was already made and all she needed to do was hand it over. She said she will not open the door and give the cake and that I needed to come tomorrow if I wanted it even though its for a birthday today. Have used this shop for over 10 years and will definitely never use or recommend them again I am shocked and stunned by the behaviour of the lady working there

Went in for a weekday breakfast and was spoiled for choice with the range of pastries, doughnuts and other deserts. Between us we tried a few things, and would particularly recommend the cinnamon pretzel or one of the filled doughnuts. The service left a lot to be desired though sadly, and there seemed to be lots of issues with the hot food options. I would happily pop back, but recommend picking up a few things to takeaway and enjoy elsewhere.

Lovely little bakery and cafe. Popped in first thing on a Sunday morning, shared a cheese and ham toastie for breakfast and a couple of cups of coffee. Friendly staff, efficient service. Beautiful cakes and tarts too which we got a few of to take away. The rolls looked phenomenal as well. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Camden 😁

I just had time to pop in and grab a coffee and something to eat to take away with me. I’m glad I did. I chose big sandwich in poppy seed bun with pastrami, pickles, cheese green leaves, mustard. I was offered an option to toast it. It was fresh, super tasty and filling. I got flat white with almond milk as well. Everyone was very nice and I was asked by different members of staff if I was being served. Great service and yummy food 😊

What a gem for breakfast! We came twice as we were staying nearby. The atmosphere in the cafe is lovely and the staff are so friendly. The food is amazing! The OH had Mr English breakfast which was presented beautifully and contained quality ingredients. I had omelette one day, which was full of cheese and ham and the house special pancakes on the other day- a huge plate of yumminess!

Nice and friendly service. They offer custom options to make your own sandwich, baguette and breakfast. Everything that I’ve tried from scrambled eggs and bacon baguette to english breakfast and donuts have been amazing.

There’s nothing wrong with the food. Amazing sandwiches and sweet treats. My issue is with the atmosphere! When the big scary trunchbull like woman is present all the other staff members look like they want to die with one member of staff in particular looking like she’s on the verge of tears every time I visit. I’ve witnessed the trunchbull scold customers and her colleagues alike on several visits, and she’s enough of a reason for me to frequent my favourite place to get lunch less and less! It’s a shame as it’s clearly a problem that they are aware of but is being ignored internally. If you’re into really good sandwiches and potentially getting served by a woman so intimidating and cold that you feel like you’ve done something wrong by merely existing then this is the bakery for you!

Absolutely amazing food. We went there two days in a row because it was so good. The food is super nice and the staff is really welcoming.

Has this place recently changed hands? It always used to be busy and had a great vibe, the food was always fresh and things flying off the shelves. I can't say that now, some of the staff seem to reflect the sadness.

We were visiting camden and I had seen this place online. Called in on a Sunday morning just before a rush of people! I contemplated another trip from the Midlands just to eat at this bakery!!! The coffee was smooth, tasty and hot! The cake selection was eye watering... the sandwiches are full of tasty fillings on wonderful fresh bread... I am drooling thinking about it! Wonderful place! Wish I could try everything they have to offer!

I had a delightful breakfast at Camden Bakery. The staff was consistently friendly, and the food was excellent. The coffee was top-notch as well. A welcoming atmosphere combined with great food and service makes this bakery a wonderful choice for a morning meal.

Best coffee I've ever had, and the cakes, buns and sandwiches are amazing, could now recommend more, If you are close by, you should definitely pop in. You will not be disappointed.

I have pre-ordered the red velvet cake, the service was good but the cake was tasteless, dry and definitely not fresh. Won't be ordering cakes here anymore.

An appalling place. Service is totally lacking (Charged for but they forgot to provide some of the items and the card machine didn't work when both me and my partner's attempted to make payment. And the receipt (that I had to ask for after paying in cash) had a total of £0:00.

I bought a whole Oreo cake for my friend’s birthday party. The cake was delicious and many of the guests plus the birthday boy himself stated it was one of the best they’d ever tasted!

Very bad pain au chocolat. Asked when it was baked, the rude staff said "today, obviously" after making me repeat the question 4 times. The worst bit was that the baked goods were more like pains in the English sense, clearly not having been baked that morning as it was 7am and the bread was stiff and cold, with very little chocolat. Truly a Parisian experience in regard to staff, sadly not so much the pastries.

My favorite bakery. The staff is so nice (one time they gave me an extra soft pretzel just because). The bakes are delicious and reasonably priced :)

Lovely friendly (even though very busy) place. Lovely coffee and very tasty Ciabatta to start the day. Clean and tidy and efficient. Would certainly recommend if you are in the area.

Picked up a bunch of sweets with my mom while we were here and they were all incredible. The favorite was the apple crumble slice and there was a bit of an argument over the last bite. It was so flavorful and fresh and I would go back for this alone. The chocolate tart was incredible and very rich, it needed to be shared for sure but chocolate lovers should go for this one. Got two donuts for breakfast the next day and they were still fresh and moist. The best was the jam one but the chocolate was also a dream. Highly recommend grabbing some sweets from here while in Camden

A lovely bakery serving no frills donuts, baps, and baguettes. Sausage roll was flaky and savory with a good consistently throughout. Really enjoyed my cinnamon twist pretzel and the black americano was great too. A huge sausage bacon and egg bap was awesome with plenty of back bacon and sausage. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great local spot for breakfast in Camden.

Going by other reviewers I think they had the B team on today. Woman taking my order just walked off halfway though me saying what we wanted. We said we'd like to sit down thinking that they'd being our order over, no 3 times I had to go get things as stuff wasn't ready in one go. If they were busy I'd understand but not when it's nearly empty. Food was fairly good though.

The Mr English is fantastic, the staff is lovely and the atmosphere is great! :) We were the with my wife and is was a lovely choice to start our day! :)

Wonderful, cosy eatery at the heart of Camden, just enough away from the noisiest crowd. Managed by Romanian crew, there are a few special traditional add-ons to an otherwise delicious menu. We went for brunch and had an absolutely fantastic avocado toast with poached eggs, great coffee and a muffin

Well what can I say about this sensational bakery me and my partner went on a morning walk while we were visiting London for the weekend and all I can say is this is the greatest little bakery I’ve come across just by chance looking for a decent breakfast and while walking the window with all the baked goods is what made me stop then we went in was greeted by a young waitress who was so lovely and got us a table for two nothing was an issue I had Eggs Benedict with extra Mushrooms no avocado and my partner had a full breakfast with extra hash brown no black pudding and to say it was absolutely unbelievable would be an understatement from the service to the food everything was truly amazing and I would recommend this beautiful little bakery to everyone and anyone who is visiting London. The best find in London over the weekend along with the music, the atmosphere was great. It is definitely a must!! I wish all the team a massive thank you for starting our day off with a beautiful breakfast and service. 10/10 from food, service, atmosphere and decor!! Me and my partner will be definitely going back when we visit London again!! Thank You to all the team!!

What a lovely little place to grab a pain au Chocolat and caffe latte. Everything was delicious! Sherif and the rest of staff were so kind and helpful. We're here for only a few days but I think we found a spot to return to.

So disappointed! I was served a raw Sausage witch is extremely dangerous. I’m also three months pregnant spat it out immediately and threw up everywhere. The lady who served me was lovely, but the health and safety is absolutely disgusting undercooked pork is extremely dangerous. Not cheap either £3.50 for a dry roll

Stopped here for lunch with my adult daughter. The staff was friendly and efficient. I had a ham and cheese omelette which came with salad and sourdough bread. The salad was very fresh, omelette was delish stuffed with ham and cheese felt like. 3 or 4 eggs. My daughters avocado salad looked equally good and she said it was fab too. Quality, generous portions great service and at a good price. Only downside…. I had no room left for the fabulous looking cakes!

I have tried their white sandwich bread and donuts. They are all damn good. The sandwich bread is soft and most (not wet). The donuts are not overly sweet but with enough texture (I.e. soft but chewy) and flavour. I will definitely come again!

We had a wonderful breakfast, the meal and service were top notch. Breakfast was a hearty size, service was efficient and coffee was delicious. They mentioned that they were shorter staffed that day but we would not have noted this. The location was busy but we received amazing service.

What an amazing find I had yesterday. Walking down Camden High Street, I was drawn into Fabler's by the delcious looking pastries and savories in the wondow. II found a family run bakery/cafe that is simply amazing. The food is made on the premises, including the bread. I had the best carrot cake ever, plus a pot of tea. I watched plates of food come out, including omlettes, french toast, sandwiches, salads, to a packed cafe. No wonder...the food was excellent, the staff clearly enjoying their jobs and so friendly to all. I noticed them continually washing their hands and always working. The cafe was full of local people, who clearly come here regularly. I waited for some people to leave to take a photo and had to ask some to please not sit down 'til I could-they laughed and agreed. I plan to go back for breakfast this week. It is one of the best places I have found, though it has been going for 3 years. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

The store is warm and inviting. The staff here are so lovely and sheriff is the sweetest. We came here from Australia and he pick our accents straight away, when we came again, he recognised us immediately.. the food here is fresh every day and very warm.
