The best restaurants in England

Lively atmosphere, decent quality of pints (in particular Budvar) and good facilities. Worth a visit even if you're not a local!

We ate three breakfasts and suppers and enjoyed the bar as well during our three-night stay. I have to say with all honesty everything was always perfect, from the food to the service. The ambience of the manor also creates a positive mood, classic yet relaxed. We also enjoyed seating outdoors with relaxing green views.

Apsolutley brilliant local pub! This it really one of the best pubs in England! The atmosphere is fabulous, and so is the beer! Exactly what a good pub should be!!

Poor portions, lack of availability. Cost £25 for a pie and chips special, chicken meat and salad and a chicken meat and chips. The portions were shocking!

As a White British person, curries are my go to for food. Wow, the food tonight was fantastic. The flavour in the chilli mushroom was beautiful. Could have had more cucumber and tomatoes to help complement. Main course they made for me, a Naga Saag. Again not disappointed. The flavour was out of this world. Hot, but that’s what I wanted. Service was excellent too. Please note that this is an unlicensed restaurant so bring your own alcohol. Definitely will visit again when I am here next

The absolute best coffee house in Huddersfield. The staff are fantastic, genuinely kind and friendly. The venue is very clean and comforting. Then the food, oh my days the food! Great for those with allergies too! and also dog friendly. Like I say the best spot. Prices are good and made very good with the reward scheme.

We ordered a takeaway roast for Sunday lunch, it was an easy process ordering and we paid by direct banking. I needed a gluten free roast, which was no problem. The food arrived still piping hot, it was gorgeous and great value. We will definitely be ordering again. Thank you.

It's a tea room within a caravan park. Don't knock it, it's a delight and highly recommened. Good choice of cakes and sweet stuff. And, yes, they'll cater for your various 'milk' tastes.

Great price for London and delicious, I recommend the naga curry. Second time in 4 days we’ve ordered from here since finding it, RIP my waistline x
