I went to unbarred Saturday the 15th March with 8 friends and the whole experience was amazing totally chilled environment the staff where awesome so polite and very helpful it was my first time experiencing different ales being a lager drinker myself and tried juicy and granola and stoutzilla totally blown away and really looking forward to returning soon thank you to all the staff for an amazing afternoon

Been here 4 or 5 times and always have a lovely time, the staff are friendly and the vibe is always chilled, with a great selection of tap beer and cans I would highly recommend to anybody!

Sala de grifos divertida y animada - un montón de opciones, personal amable y un agradable espacio exterior e interior. Me encanta la forma en que puede pedir su propia comida (actualmente pizza de la pizzería cercana) - un montón de eventos en oferta también. Marido dice que la selección de cervezas en oferta era buena y las cervezas que tomó eran muy sabrosas! Merch en oferta y cervezas para llevar en la nevera también. Vale la pena una visita - gran ambiente con personal amable y clientes.

We enjoyed the beer tasting session with Cameron. He was informative, engaging and great fun. Highly recommended. Fantastic range of beers.

Wonderful hidden gem. I've been coming here for years and it's great to see it develop over time. Friendliest staff in Brighton, quality and well looked after beers with a range of spirits and cocktails to compliment. Lovely space inside & out with a collaboration with Fatto A Mano so you can order pizza too!

Great selection of beer brewed on the premises , wine, some spirits and a few cocktails! Indoor and outdoor seating, mixed age group. Pizza can be ordered from the nearby pizza restaurant which are delicious.

A very enjoyable evening spent here. A friendly crowd, kids, dogs welcome, table games. The beer selection was very good, especially the hoppy pales and IPAs. I would visit again

Great tasting and experience. Cam was a lovely host and we are really happy with the knowledge he parted with and the beers he picked for our tasting. We appreciated the privacy we had with this as previously we have been to beer tastings where we were in a big group. We recommend this to anyone interesting in experiencing and tasting some fabulous craft beer! 🍻 Prost!

Really nice venue tucked away but easy to find with Google Maps. Great beers and helpful staff and canned beers for off premises sale as well.

Top experience with great beer and fantastic outdoor area. Beer is fresh and crisp with a great deep flavor. Would recommend to any beer lover. Staff were excellent with a lovely chill vibe and created a brilliant atmosphere

Tasting session - really informative session, getting to try different beers all based on what we like! Cameron was super helpful and made the session really enjoyable! Can’t recommend highly enough for the price!

A hidden gem just a short walk from the center. Every time we travel to Brighton from the Netherlands we try to have a drink here. Relaxed atmosphere, nice people behind the bar, and especially the beers are excellent. Bueno Shake for is fantastic.

Lovely Brewery especially the outdoor space is nice and pleasant. The beer Joosy is a tasty hazy beer I’d recommend.

In my opinion, the best craft brewery taproom in Brighton. Big enough to accommodate those in the know, a brilliant selection of beers (they offer wine too), friendly and knowledgeable staff, 3 toilets so not usually a queue and sometimes a tasty food truck outside on site

Super brewery - we did a tasting experience here which was top notch, very detailed and comprehensive but accessible for beginners. We tasted a wide variety of delicious beers. Nice atmosphere, great staff, and all very clean and tidy. You can order the awesome Fatto a Mano Neapolitan pizzas to the table here too.

Amazing taproom away from the hustle and bustle with outdoor decking and a great selection of draught beers (including two gluten free beers) brewed on site. Would definitely recommend visiting!

We had a beer tasting experience with Felipe. He was very passionate and his knowledge of beer was incredible. One of the best tastings we have had. Top drawer

Love this place. The beer is my favourite. The new Oyster stout is actually sublime. I was sceptical about it but when I had some bought for me Father’s Day, my eyes were opened. It’s one of the nicest, smoothest stouts I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot of stouts!! Even better is the fact you can get a pizza while you’re there. Best place to drink in my opinion.

Gotta be the best brewery in Brighton. Went for a tasting session, the insight and knowledge provided by the host was second to none. Came away from it having a complete new perspective on beer and would recommend this to anyone, whether you enjoy beer or not.

5★for Great beers 🍻🍻 Unique and nice flavour. We tried pineapple and long black. It will be perfect if they improve the air circulation for the indoor seating area :)

I go to this small taproom every time I go to Brighton which is only a couple of times a year. I visited last night and I must say the beers were excellent and the range has improved so there is something for all types of beer drinkers. As well as the usual impressive hoppy ales I was also blown away by their ESB and Stoutzilla. I can't remember ever going to a brewery where they have absolutely nailed each style. Will have to back soon and try the Helles to complete the set!

I’ve not been to the brewery but have bought the honey Combe milkshake from an outlet in Shoreham. Absolutely delicious shall be buying more

Excellent beers brewed on site, with knowledgeable and friendly staff. At its best in summer when the bifolding doors can open and the outdoor space is useable, can get a bit cold in the winter so be prepared to wear layers in doors if you are visiting then. The recent partnership with Fatto a Mano to provide pizza with no delivery charge means there is even less reason to leave!

Great place with an excellent diverse selection of craft beers and friendly staff. It's a shame they have recently tied up with fatto a mano, prior to that you could get anything deliveroo'd to the tap room which was a lot better...

Popped in to pick up some ltd edition stouts. Ended up having 'one or two ' in the company of Ruby & Cam, fabulous bar staff and brilliant beer. If you fancy a casually led astray sesh, this is THE place. Joyous.

One of my favourite pubs in Brighton! Friendly service, nice atmosphere and tasty beer. They also serve wine and spirits for non-beer-drinkers.

Ended our evening in Brighton with a trip to UnBarred Brewery and Taproom for a few beers. Loads of places to sit indoors and outdoors. We also enjoyed a nduja pizza from the menu which I unfortunately didn’t get a picture of as it all got eaten too quickly. Would definitely recommend coming here if you’re a craft beer fan!

Place had a dank smell; perfect for a brewer pub. Great tasting beers as well. It was small inside, but I bet if the weather gets better, outside is even more fun.

The brewery was quite small and packed however the staff was very friendly. There were many types of beers flavours and it was nice that we could order smaller sizes try.

Very nice brewery and tap room around 15 walking minutes away from city centre. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, a super beer selection of their own making and a nice outside area to enjoy your brews in fresh air - highly recommended!

I absolutely love this place, the beers are amazing, the staff are friendly and there is always a fun vibe. HOWEVER, they have a serious mould problem. The moment you go in you can smell the mould and see it quite literally everywhere around the Brewing Tanks, the floor, the walls and the ceiling. The smell is quite off putting and it makes you seriously question the hygiene. If the owner invests in fixing this very serious issue then this place would be absolutely awesome 🙏

A pleasant Brewery tucked away at the back of London Road. Great place to go if you want to grab a drink with mates and actually want to be able to hear yourself think (they don't blast loud music). There are always new beers on tap; I've enjoyed every one I've tried so far. Definitely one of my favourite spots in Brighton for a beer.

Great little taproom and well priced (eg £5.25 for 2/3 of a 9.2% imperial stout - Brewdog and the like charged £6-7.50 yesterday for 1/3 of similar). Plenty of dark beers on offer so big thumbs up from me. Only downside for me is a very poor Vodafone signal (was same last year when I visited) - there is WiFi but it's one of those you have to sign up to and give your mobile number, so a no from me. Taking ages to upload my Untappd reviews!

Currently my favourite pub in Brighton. Beers are generally excellent and interesting. The space is nice and the outdoor area is great, and clientele are usually sound.

In 2021, UnBarred defined craft beer, what a choice of NEIPAs and DIPAs, staff today admitted - cannot compete with Beak on this front...what? Somebody has lost the plot. Today, OK beer, nothing special, hardly justifies the trip from Scotland.

They do an awesome ale. Bit pricey tho at £7 but I understand as it was 7% abv.

Great find in Brighton not too far from London Road Station and quite near the Joker pub. Called on a Friday night for a couple of beers, which were fantastic. Sold Unbarred beers and a few from other brewers. Fridges full of cans to takeaway and deliveries are also an option. Food was available though we chose not to indulge. Staff were spot on, friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there - dont miss it if you like beer.

Horrible service the staff are a bunch of entitled selfish children the bar is sticky and unclean the toilets are disgraceful I wouldn't go back there if you payed me the hobgoblin is just down the road with wonderful inviting friendly staff clean surfaces and great music and a welcoming vibe

Excellent range of craft beers, served by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Beers available in third of a pint, half pint, two thirds of a pint or full pint measures. Loos clean and modern! A favourite place to go

Great beer and a lovely tap room! Would have loved a tasting paddle but you can’t have everything.

A wonderful brewery, creating some stunning beers in most styles. My personal favourites are their imperial stouts and modern sour beers. Indoor and outdoor seating, some of which is covered. Beers are served in third, half, and pint measures. The thirds if ordered x3 come on a beer paddle, which is the normal. Helpful staff, who are keen to describe their beers. Several loos, which are clean.

One of my favourite local breweries! Delicious sessionable pale ales and the best NEIPA’s in Sussex and surroundings. Staff is very friendly and flexible.

I just purchased a takeaway can but I liked the place and its interiors. A bit off the centre and it was quiete, but the beer was just excellent. For sure I am looking forward to try more beers of their line!

£20.97 for two double gin and tonics. When they told me the price, I just walked out. I'll go buy myself and my mate a bottle of gin instead. Total madness their prices.

Beer is amazing! The coffee stout “Breakfast Pastry” is well excused and the “Honeycomb Shake” is purely delicious. Staff is friendly and informative. The only problem is it’s so busy that is hard to get a table. But they also do takeaway as well. We got 3 cans of interesting stout to take back home.

Great place, very chilled, excellent beer and music.

It was okay. The service was good, but they had very limited choice of cider (one, which was sweet), one lager and a few more craft ales. It was quite expensive too. I am sure when the building work around it stops it will come alive but not really my favourite place.

Nice little tap room (and busy for that reason!) but the staff were super efficient and friendly and it was nice to be able to buy all the beers in a variety of sizes

Apologise for my 1 star review, that happened by mistake. My time at the brewery was in fact great, staff were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the selection given. This is a really nice, cool little spot and a hidden gem in Brighton!
