I have been here before and thought it was a bit pricey for what I had then but last weds I was very surprised! We had 2 coffees, 1 bacon & egg sarny and scrambled egg with chorizo on toast. After waiting about 25 mins I only had 2 pieces of bacon & not enough sauce so asked for more sauce! The scrambled egg arrived on 1 piece of toast which my mate couldn't cut - defo not worth the wait and defo not worth a whopping £26 😮 We'll be having brekkie at mine next time!!

A cute little cafe on the edge of Brighton with kind smiley staff and cozy atmosphere. I have been to this lol gem of a place multiple times with my family as our little secret place to have a coffee and brunch, and we just keep coming back! Great coffee and tea, in cute cups that are definitely Instagram worthy. Food is also presented well and tastes good. We have had their breakfasts and also loaded toasts. The breakfasts were perfect and the new loaded toast with pesto was good but not as good as the avocado toast I’d had before (definitely recommend). The garden out back is cozy, sunny and peaceful, with umbrellas to put up and a brand new covered section with seats! In the colder months they often have blankets as well which is a nice touch. Staff are funny, smiley and lovely people who always seem happy to be working there. Definitely recommend!

This place has changed. The food is hugely overpriced for the portion we were given. The service was very slow and the back door was kept open so it was very cold. It was a completely different experience a couple of months ago, so I am not sure if this was just an off day.

My wife and I stopped at The Coach House on the recommendation of a friend. Parking in the street was free but a little busy. The cafe is in a recess between some other businesses and hard to see from the car. The inside dining area and open kitchen are small but we got a friendly welcome. We did not expect to get waved through to a very attractive, sunny rear garden devoid of any traffic noise. Almost full of locals, it is clearly a popular place. Service was swift and professional. The coffee and juice was of surprising quality. Whilst the menu was slightly pricey, the food I saw served seemed very nice and I opted for the eggs and avocado. The organic poached eggs were perfectly cooked, the toast was a very nice sourdough bread. My wife had eggs with salmon that she thoroughly enjoyed. This was a fleeting visit but I will certainly try to stop in again on our next visit to Brighton. A unique and charming little place.
