Lovely pub and great service. Popped in whilst visiting friends who live in the area. Great hidden gem!

Such a stunning place. The staff, service and food qualiry were all incredible. I have food allergies and the care to make sure i had a nice meal was so very much appreciated Beautiful french food- we'll definitely be back. Merry Christmas to you all.

Can't comment on food as we just went for coffee but the service was fab, the decorations were very festive. No sticky tables!

The decoration and the way the restaurant is organised works wonderfully. We were put in a two person booth-ish area, but it was very cute and nice. We had a range of nigiri and maki, and the “spider maki” (soft shell crab maki) was my favourite. We also got the tempura prawns, chilli and chicken stir fry udon and the tempura ice cream. Also, the waiters were very kind and helpful. My partner wanted to try some sake, and the one the waitress recommended was beautiful. So so good, will come again!

It was our first visit, and we were not disappointed. We chose a large selection of small plates and devoured the lot. My favourite was the pork belly, so tender and juicy that it just fell apart, combined with stick molasses that complimented it perfectly. I had a glass of their rose sangria, which was delicious and sweet, and I could easily have enjoyed more. No reservations were taken for small groups, as they say on their website, just turn up. The staff were knowledgeable, really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxing with music from the 70s being played, which we enjoyed and related to. We arrived at around 12.30 pm, and by the time we departed, it was full.... always a good sign. It was a great find, and we will definitely be returning..... sooner rather than later! Came here for an early Christmas lunch. Had the most delicious food. Didn't go for the Christmas menu as booked too late but as always the food is divine!

Excellent dinner with all the family - reservation is recommended, service was just as good in a great pub - will definitely be back here soon…

Styled as a fine dining experience this restaurant truly lived up to its billing.We went for the 7 course tasting menu with the Malai chicken and the panna cotta particular highlights.Highly recommended.

We have been here a few times and returned for their new years eve dinner which was spectacular. It was a set menu which included dishes I wouldnt usually order but was delicious and plates were clean after every course! Usually mass catering leads to cold food and differences in serving but not here. The well organised kitchen and team work of the staff was obvious, every dish was warm and they came out within seconds of eachother. The staff couldnt have done enough for us, from serving canapés to topping up our drinks, discretely and politely. It's clear that the staff enjoy their job, they joined in with us customers to celebrate at midnight which was lovely. The disco , saxophone lady and roulette were very welcome fun touches to the night. Thankyou magic mushroom for an unforgettable evening. We can't wait to return next year

Corn ribs were amazing, Tacos are amazing, sticky toffee pudding was amazing. All desserts are exceptional. Service was amazing. Wait times aren’t long, definitely recommend coming here.

We had a Christmas dinner party there, but unfortunately our festive mood was dampened. The food wasn't bad and the ambience was pretty cool, but what a terrible and rude restaurant manager… There were about 15 of us, but unfortunately some of our colleagues could not get to the restaurant because transportation was cancelled due to the aftermath of the storm. We paid the deposit in advance and when it was time to pay the bill the manager refused to take into account the fact that people struggled to get there and charged in full. We had a long conversation trying to convince him to adjust the bill however he was very stubborn and unyielding. it looked not only like ordinary greed but also absolutely unprofessional and not hospitable at all! He talked to us aggressively and rudely shouting across the restaurant. One of the ladies was upset when he raised his voice to her personally, however he refused to even apologise! We were astonished by the low standards of customer service. We will not return to this restaurant and discourage others from going.
