Couldn't praise enough. Great food, great price and great service. Highly recommend.

Good little chippy, was passing when I popped in so first time using it. Got chips an sausage for lunch, chips where banging. Sausage wasn't great, tasted like a cheap Sausage. Staff were really friendly an service was really good.

I'm not one to complain even if the food is bad. This was our regular chip shop and we would regularly eat from there but this concern I got desperately needs to change. My dad came into the chip shop and ordered jellied Ells and whelks and shortly afterwards he was in bed shaking with a fever, he suffered with this for 2 weeks and then had no choice to visit A&E the hospital confirmed this was because for sea food poisoning. Personally I believe it was because it was a extremely hot day and all the sea food was in the shelf and the sun was pitching down all day. Please change the way your sea food is stored as this could be happening or happen multiple times

I've been using this chippy for more than 50 years a very rarely have a reason to complain

This place has been here a long time and people say how good it was so I went in there and ordered large cod and chips the cod wasn't cooked properly the batter was slimey and cold and the few chips I got was so greasy and small and bittyi threw it away and had to cook total waste of money not good value at all even if it was cooked properly

I just wish they would give a clear menu and prices when taking a photo for their website. A Lack of menu which is not clear. Please take another picture as you can not see the fish & chip part of the menu.

Was disappointed to see that the savaloy was put in a microwave to heat up so would definitely not be eating that from there. Also the chips weren’t very nice and very small portions for the price. Won’t be going to this fish shop again.

Everything is amazing. Fish cakes are soooo good. My mum travels 1 hour a week to get the best food. And the fresh fish crab mix. Love how clean the place is I’m very fussy but will never change fish and chip shops ever again. Kelly

One of the few chip shops that sell top pieces of cod ( not frozen tails) it's fresh, reasonably priced and staff are friendly...I always use this fish and chip shop and it has never disappointed.

Not sure how any of the previous reviews could be anything else but positive. We’ve used this amazing family business for years and can’t fault them, for a Chippy inland they are bloody amazing! They deliver within the time they state, and are still very reasonably priced given the financial climate. On the phone or in the shop they are the most positive family you’ll meet, they need their own show.

Friendly family owned business, polite and cheerful. Large fish and chips £9.5… portion could be larger and fish was a little bland, but other then that good 👍🏻

The fish is freshly cooked to order, the quality of everything I have had there is mouth watering, The same family have run it for over 35 years and are very friendly and they use top ingredients and Fresh fish from Billingsgate Fish Market. I love being able to pop over on a Sunday for Fresh Seafood. Long may they continue,

Avoid! By far THE worst piece of fish I've ever had. I bit in to the fish expecting proper flakes of fish; instead I crunched down on its rock hard spine. Absolutely vile. The fish itself was just mush. Mushy peas were cold. Chips were cold. Enough to make you go vegetarian!

This is not just a fish and chip shop they supply wet fish and have done for years everything is fresh and the staff are great you can get other sea food from them it's only a small shop but good things come in small packages

Just bought 2 cod and chips chips under cooked and tasted funny little bitty chips not one you could bite all less than inch long and thin and the cod tasted disgusting with soft undercooked batter and cold chips threw the lot I honestly dont know what.other people are used to if they think.this muck is good

You will never be disappointed with the chips, although portions are small there is no waste. Other chip shops give bigger portions but I Chuck half out. Worth driving that little bit further for decent food.

Usually very good! Unfortunately recently the food arrives cold and soggy! On the last occasion it arrived 2 hours late, very disappointed.
