Easy to find, clean and tidy and friendly staff. Absolutely amazing 🍩 doughnuts, with a great selection for all the family. We would highly recommend 👌

First of all, love the name! Second…the choice is overwhelming. I’ve never seen such an enticing doughnut counter 😹 In the end, I managed to decide on Weekend Billionaire and Custard Cream. The salted caramel sauce in the middle of WB was, in a word, superb.

easy to find, cute little place with upstairs tables BUT they looked like all other "hand made" donuts tasted meh, dry and a bit stale not worth the walk too IMO

I ordered some doughnuts as a gift for a friend from Doughknotts after a recommendation from colleagues. There were some issues with shipping (not Doughknott's fault), however they really went above and beyond to sort the issue for me. They were extremely professional, kind and efficient. I cannot fault them and will absolutely be ordering from them again! I was also very reliably informed by the friend they were ordered for that the doughnuts are delicious!

I came in late on a Friday evening and the two girls at the till were great, doughnuts even nicer! Thanks!

Staying in Leicester for work and walked past this store with a colleague I had a box of 3 and my colleague had 2 and we bought a big box for others at our restaurant and we ate them all up within a few hours. So so tasty wish we had one closer to us ! Don't walk past without getting one of these beauties

This place is amazing. The doughnuts themselves are soft and fluffy, not too heavy, with delicious toppings. I visited during the 3rd lockdown so they were taking online orders which took a minute to do. I ordered two for myself (white choc caramel tart, and biscoff doughnut) and the guy said he’d doubled up and he gave me 4, what a guy! This is my second visit, will definitely not be my last!

I visit the Leicester store mostly, and the doughnuts are always amazing - I have had them delivered through deliveroo and they come perfect.Also I contacted them for a custom doughnut for my mums birthday, and they managed to organise it for me. The staff in store & online are so helpful and polite

El proceso de entrar y salir mientras el distanciamiento social estaba bien organizado y la variedad de delicias fantásticas fue excelente. Elegir qué comer fue un poco complicado, pero la señora que nos atendió (creo que la dueña) fue muy servicial y conversadora y nos llevamos a casa cuatro deliciosas donas. Muy recomendable y una gran empresa local de Nottingham. Las mejores notas.

Every month we have a team meeting, for that the boss provides 40 Doughnotts of various flavours. Best doughnuts available anywhere.My only thoughts (yes I know it's hard to improve on perfection) are that sometimes I find them to be too big, could we see small portion options?

Saw this place on Instagram whilst staying in Nottingham for work, thought I’d get a few to take home as a treat for the family. They were well received!! I had the kinder bueno doughnut which was still light and fluffy on the inside with lovely icing. The lotus biscoff doughnuts are excellent and not too sweet where it becomes sickly. I didn’t get to try the snickers doughnut as it was scoffed quickly and quietly but I was assured it was “good”. Give these guys a try with a nice cup of coffee and it’ll brighten up your day, guaranteed.

I visited in December and purchased a after eight doughnut. Oh my days what a great taste! The doughnut was very airy and such a great taste. Also the staff are so helpful and really lovely. Would highly recommend doughnotts!

Never thought I would find doughnuts as good as those I had in New York. Well Doughhnotts proved me wrong with proper NY style artisan doughnuts. The level of service is fantastic, the customer in front of me wanted a kitkat doughnut which wasn't on the menu for that day, but they told her if she bought a kit kat and brought it back they would make one for her! Value is very good given size of doughnuts. Highly recommended if your in Nottingham and like doughnuts

Massive doughnuts! Very tasty too. I loved the variety too! Would defo recommend trying them. The customer service was good too. Not quite as good as Krispy Kreme in my opinion, but that’s just my opinion! Go try them!

Doughnotts is a place I've wanted to visit for a long time, every single post gives me doughnut envy so when I was in Nottingham this weekend, I just had to pop in!-They have a selection of standard and premium doughnuts on offer. The standard ones are still look pretty amazing but the premium ones have more indulgent toppings for sure!-I opted for 4 premium doughnuts including the galaxy caramel, snickers, biscoff and billionaires. Don't let the pic deceive you, these are massive! Shared with my family and they only managed half of one each --My favourite? Now that is a tough one! They're all utterly delicious in their own ways! The galaxy one has a beautiful drizzle, the billionaire and snickers both have the middle dollop of joy (peanut butter/caramel) and the biscoff is covered in a thick layer of it! -Seriously loving these! Thanks so much guys

Came here for some doughnuts for my birthday after seeing photos on Instagram - they did not disappoint! Me and my mum went for custard cream and my sister had the billionaire. All were delicious - mine was so big I had to eat in 2 sittings! Could not recommend more

Took my grandson here in the summer to design his own donuts. After lots of chocolate n sweets we took home some lovely donuts. Was amazing to see him get so Creative, staff were brilliant and donuts yummy. Well worth a visit special thank you to Amy for informing me of the event. Will be back to visit when I’m next in Nottingham

Very happy with my trip here last week. Ordered 2 x Premium doughnuts which came to £6. The doughnuts are very large - so you do get your money's worth. I ordered the Snicker flavour and my wife the Strawberry biscoff flavour. Really like the new premises. Thank you!

So the Vegan donuts and choice of vegan donuts is amazing, so happy that I can try them now as the previous shop was not wheelchair accessible at all.(at the new one i still needed help with the door etc)The new shop is accessible but not the entire shop, you can go and get your donuts but you can not stay in as seating is upstairs.Also bloggers are posting that the new shop is fully accessible and it clearly is not, disappointing to see as if my family saw that they would suggest to go, but obviously there would be disappointment when you turn up.I did message doughnotts to let them know that what bloggers and influencers are posting is not correct but the message was ignored. Personally I do not like to see the able bodied comment about these things because they truly have no idea about accessibility

Prepare for a queue it’s a favourite in Nottingham. I took my niece and nephew here and tried it for myself for the first time after jealously eyeing up the valentines bouquet I got my husband in February. We were fortunate to go on a Tuesday when they have an amazing deal on. Forget Krispy Kreme these doughnuts are fluffy, fresh, interesting and just the right amount of sweet. I’m so glad it has moved so that I can get in here now with the pushchair I braved it with my 2 year old and 4 year old on valentines pushchairless and didn’t realise how big the box was going to be, it was a bit tough carrying that and praying the 2 year old would walk and hold my hand back to the bus stop. You will never eat doughnuts anywhere else.

Delightful staff, as customer-focused as it gets. New shop is very pretty, cozy, and well designed. Great coffee. And most importantly of all, the doughnuts are off the damn chain. Very vegan friendly. Once you've been, you'll never go anywhere else for your treats again.

DoughNotts is a unique Nottingham experience! Although the prices seem relatively expensive it is a must try when visiting. The shop is relatively small and can get crowded if the queue is long. The Cookie Monster and Red Velvet doughnuts were good and not as sickly sweet as some brands can be.

Happy they’ve moved as the old shop was very human unfriendly .. but once you tackled the stairs the shop was lovely .. with so many delicious looking doughnuts Cherry bakewell being my ultimate favourite. Staff brilliant accommodating and knowledgable. Amazingly great doughnuts 🍩

At £6 for 3 doughnotts id expect something along the lines of a Meg Ryan orgasmic experience. Unfortunately, like many women, who have the tease of something that will stir them deep inside, i was left disappointed and feeling that the cost of pursuing such orgasmic delights left me more than a little frustrated. Things did get interesting when they seemed to want to bend me over backwards to purchase a box at 30p!!Will i be back.... No. Not at those prices. Birds caramel topped cream donuts are far better, and they come with a FREE box!!

come here often when we pass by with the kids and it is absoloutely declicious. with plenty of vegan options we constantly look out for more flavours!

Popped in on my own whilst on a day trip to Nottingham, got the lovely peanut butter and jam vegan donut and an oat milk latte. Nice seated area upstairs where I enjoyed them. 3 standard donuts or 2 premium donuts for £6.Plenty of labeled vegan donuts including another delicious biscoff one I bought to eat later.They also release limited edition ones for new releases of TV shows, movies etc. Including a stranger things one I got my boyfriend!

This is my first visit to the new store in nottingham and it's really nice. Plus the staff are very friendly always go when i fancy dessert.

Having been recommended this place i just had to visit. I had the nutella cronut (unfortunately I cant remember what its name is!!). It was just amazing....filling, dense and tasty. Am coming again that's for sure

I’ve been wanting to try Doughnotts for ages after following it on Instagram. The new shop looks great as do the doughnuts. However they don’t taste as good as they look. The doughnuts are very large and dense. I opted for a filled doughnut (weekend billionaire) but would not describe it as filled. The salted caramel filling was really just a spoonful of it that sat in a dip on top of the doughnut rather than being inside as expected. Not as good as Doughnut Time in London.

Had a doughnut from the Matlock food and drink festival. Was not expecting then to be so big! I had the red velvet and it was amazing.

We've been eating Doughnotts since they opened and they are always a treat! Definitely a high end treat, there are plentiful vegan options and the specials are always amazing. The doughnuts are massive and can easily be shared but they do minis for smaller appetites now too. Highly recommend and a great way to support a small local business.

Asked for a death by chocolate, got caramel, had two bites and threw away. Dense donut. Will wait till I go to Ireland again for a Rolling donut!

... was in Nottingham with some friends who were visiting the city and they encouraged me to come with them to Doughnotts. I try not to go to these sorts of places because, well, diet, but I gave in.Once you have descended down into the store it is quite small inside but the delights contained in are ...well ... way too good. I had one of the their premium doughnuts called a Cherry Bakewell and it was very, very good.I would very happily go there again (although I really really shouldn't)

Visited and purchased two of the premium donuts for £6, both were for friends but I’ve tried most of the selection before. All are lovely but my favourite is definitely the biscoff donut. There were two lovely ladies on the till who got on well together and worked as a good team. One of the ladies even offered me a free coffee as a small act of kindness! Made my day.

I loved my first trip to Doughnotts! The queue was worth the wait as they tasted incredible, so glad we’ve got one now in Leicester as I’ll definitely be popping in and trying more! They’re to die for and I’m so happy I managed to pick up some Harry Potter themed ones! One of the highlights to my Nottingham trip!

best donuts in notts massive in size about 2 portions for me, even better. some times poor selection if you get there late but lovely all the same. bit poorly lit and indie kids on laptops makes queueing awkward but worth it for the donuts

I always visit here if I come to Nottingham. Amazing selection of doughnuts, all fresh and they also do vegan options. They are absolutely delicious and in my opinion, better than Krispy Kreme, they also are independent so you're helping out a small business when you come here. Highly recommend.

My sister lives in Nottingham and I’d been drooling over Doughnotts doughnuts on their Instagram. My mum went to see her for a few days and she brought me 2 doughnuts from there all the way back to Liverpool! Can not wait to have them again 10/10 doughnotts! So many people harp on about here but I personally do "nott" get it The donuts are big (great) but absolutely ooze fat. Left on my desk for 5 mins and the grease was unreal! None the less i ate it, made me feel sick (my own fault for being greedy) A lot disagree and think they are great but just not for me. Perfect if you dont mind troffing you whole days worth of calories in 4 minutes.

Great doughnuts are light and airy - like sweet and flavourful clouds. These are dense and chewy and over-sweet. More like sickly swwet, tasteless buns than flavourful doughnuts. 2 bites, and the rest went in the bin.

As my waistline will attest, I've eaten more than my share of doughnuts over the years, all around the world, and I have been very disappointed in British doughnuts, which tend to taste as though they were made in a factory several months earlier and sprayed with plastic. These are fresh yeast doughnuts that have risen beautifully, and they boast a wonderful assortment of flavours. The first time we went, there was a line up the stairs and out the door, and I'm really glad we came back!

The staff are always friendly and they are always willing to explain whats what in the selection they have on the day. I've tried loads of them now and they're awesome - However paying for a box to take them home in is annoying when im spending so much on the doughnuts.

Had my first visit to Nottingham’s doughnut shop today, it’s tucked away down stairs just in the square. The doughnuts are huge, I chose peanut butter and jelly flavour! My friend chose twix, it was caramel and crumbled biscuit topped with twix fingers! Worth a visit if you’re a doughnut lover . No time for photography far to yummy!

Always got great variety of vegan options, great quality and two large doughnuts and a coffee for £7 is well worth the wait. Queues always go quickly however it’s best to go before two as vegan donuts seem to go quicker in my experience.

I wanted to buy a mixed tray as an alternative birthday cake for the wife, however I couldn’t get down the stairs as I had my son with me in his pushchair. I called the shop and they very kindly, despite being busy, brought me a tray up to market square.Excellent service and excellent doughnuts!

Popped in here on a whim whilst around town on Saturday, having seen and heard rave reviews over the years. We were not disappointed either in quality or price. 2 of the premium doughnuts for £5 - a Reeses and millionaire shortbread - both of which were delicious and filling, even a day later!

This place is literally what heaven must taste like! My husband and I are vegan and we live in London. But every time I come to see my parents in Nottingham this is the first stop. Even my parents love these doughnuts. I just tasted their Oreo vegan ones...cannot pick a favourite between the Oreo, cinnamon and caramel one! They are my favorite sugar fix. And the best part is customer service ...the beautiful girl serving me recognized me after 4 weeks. Amazing!

Really there is not much to say about this amazing place than what I have said already in my title. Every doughnut I have tasted here has been simply sublime. I took some friends from Newcastle here and they were also suitably impressed by both the quality and size of these exquisite doughnuts. There is a different doughnut on offer To anyone with any palate. The coffee is pretty damn good too

As the title says, best doughnuts in the world. Forget Krispy Kreme or any of that stuff, these are wonderful, huge, tasty doughnuts in a variety of flavours, and at a very reasonable price.They do a good price deal when you get one with one of their excellent coffees.Just wonderful!

Donuts are just the best - what else can I add. Shop = I haven't visited the Notts store for a while (mid week at lunch time)... one thing that really struck me / I noticed was that all of the skirting boards/kickboards and plug socket areas were v dirty / the tables were v sticky/ bin area.. place needs a little TLC (deep clean with hot soapy water one evening after closing).

Recently visited the Chatsworth country fair with my youngish family. We usually find it difficult to locate a doughnut that is suitable for us all due to my wife’s and sons dairy allergies. We stumbled across a kind looking girl who was delightful to speak to as she spoke with passion about her produce and was able to speak at length about several different options and also managed to speak with 3 very shy children who now want to work as a doughnut seller!!!! The dairy free amongst us had cherry bake well and salted caramel and I may have tried both and they were amazing! The ones with no food issues had snickers, red velvet and death by choco and all I can say is that they have the perfect portion size! I will definitely have to visit the store and wish they had one closer to home!!! Big commendation to the seller. Fantastic!

Went with my baby in his pram and I was told I couldn't order and pay upstairs. They offered to help take the pram down stairs but I wasn't happy with this suggestion.

Always such a good variety and new flavours! They are quite pricey but are definitely worth the price I’m always asked to bring some home for my family! They also have vegan options which are just as good!

travelled from london to nottingham for these bad boys and was not disappointed. had the box of 6- PB&J , Jam, Jaffa, the simpsons one, cinammon swirl and red velvet. All AMAZING cannot pick a favourite. the shop was quite small for the queue up the stairs but ell worth it, service really good. Definitely worth a visit!!!

Came up from Bristol today and stumbled across this cute shop! Be aware there are stairs down which was no problem as just carried the pushchair! We had an Oreo (vegan), billionaire and marshmallow one, and oh my goodness the BEST doughnuts we’ve ever had!! Please please please open a store in Bristol!!!

L'endroit est atypique car bien caché en sous sol, pas de vitrine sur rue mais c'est un petit trésor qu'il est sympathique de connaitre.Un donut snickers et un extra chocolat plus tard nous ont régalés ! c'est généreux, c'est gourmands, pas trop gras. Une chouette adresse !

My brother insisted that my sister and I visit Doughnotts whilst here, and I am so glad he did! I'm not a particular sweets fan, but these were just amazing! Every single one looked like advert quality, and each flavour was so different and intense. I can't recommend this place enough if you enjoy a sweet treat!

Visited at end of July while visiting family in Nottingham . The shop is a cute little place down some stairs. I visited on a Tuesday afternoon where they do 3 for £5. I think I need to visit earlier than my 3pm visit last time as was not much choice left but the ones I had were amazing. Will definitely return next time I am in the area.

I dont think this review needs much...other than wow. The doughnuts here are incredible with ever-changing flavours to try. They are pretty hefty too so you definitely get what you pay for.

The shop is downstairs, could not see a lift. The shopfloor itself is dark. The staff is friendly and helpful.Don’t get tricked by special offers on a Tuesday like any three for £5. These doughnuts seemed stale, so I wonder if they were leftovers from the weekend, that needed selling.

Been too doughnotts enough times to have completed 3 loyalty cards. Love the doughnuts every time and they have a great selection. The only downside is that they don’t offer discounts on dozens etc

I’m so glad I spotted this place as I walked past as all that shows it off really is a door. It was amazing with a wide selection of choice. They are also massive and a very reasonable price. If I’m ever in Nottingham again I will be coming back

Just had to come to the shop on a trip to Nottingham!! Walked past the shop to begin with as it is a small entrance. Wow just amazing I have never seen the size of these before !!

We had called here before but it had been closed. If you get there later in the day it may be as they do close if they sell out of doughnuts, which makes sense. This was a Saturday morning so we were OK. My daughter had been keen to visit so was primarily visiting to take her some back with me. Rang her and went through all the different doughnuts and there are a few. Really nice ladies behind the counter and a good atmosphere in the shop, everyone discussing the flavours etc. So many to choose from but I must admit I just had a plain glazed one and it was delicious. My husband and daughter had the more interesting concoctions and we all enjoyed them. A really decadent treat and very good quality. Highly recommend a visit

Bought a box of 12 doughnuts from here as I’d heard good things about it and I wasn’t disappointed! Absolutely fantastic and extremely tasty doughnuts, all of which are handmade. Quite a few of them are vegan as well which I thought was quite good even if it doesn’t mean much to me personally. Definitely recommend coming here as they are very good. Staff were also very friendly and professional.

Thought I’d try this place after reading all the great reviews and listening to the hype. This place is located in a basement and is very dark. My initial impression was why?I ordered 5 different flavours which cost me £12. After sharing them with my family I couldn’t workout what all the fuss was about. The taste of any of the doughnuts didn’t stand out. They were just overly sweet & sickly. I’ll stick to Krispy Kreme in future.

Followed sat Nav and parked in the nearest car park. The shop is in a pedestrianised area, after walking around for several minutes finally found it where we had already walked past. It’s near the five guys and a place called shakeaway (milkshake bar). Has a very small entrance to easy to miss and google maps doesn’t take you to the right place. You take some stairs down and enter a small dark store. Cost £20 for 9 doughnuts, but they do look extravagant.

Good and tasty. Huge too! Didn't even know they were vegan until my partner pointed it out to me. Couldn't tell and as they were delicious I didn't care. See you again soon I hope!

My brother treated me to a doughnut here and wow! It was amazing! My mouth is actually watering now thinking about it! It was extremely popular even though the place is tiny. There is only enough seating for about 8 people but to be honest you can just take your doughnut away. I would recommend a visit even if it is only just once. They have an amazing selection of home made doughnuts all with different toppings etc. They are delicious.

Have visited this place many times since i first tried their doughnuts. And for me they're still the best doughnuts EVER. Really good size, nice light dough, amazing selection of flavours and good value for money! I will always rave about Doughnotts to everyone, i hope some day they come to Bristol!!

The only issue is that you have to walk down some tight stairs to get to it, therefore if you are unable for whatever reason then it is sadly not good unless they have some other way to visit the place. It would be nice if the shop was bigger and brighter in a more fitted area; despite this it is in a perfect location in the Old Market Square next to Shakeaway. The staff were patient and friendly; they have to be friendly because the Doughnuts are bigger than usual and there is a beautiful choice selection. I hope the very best for this company to expand, and would highly recommend this place as the best place for Doughnuts in Nottingham

They're Dough-nuts... that's all! Having heard all the hype about Doughnotts, we visited the newly opened Leicester store. At first site, we were amazed at how big each one was, starting at £2 (cheaper per item if you buy more). Love the story of the owners written on the wall, well done to them on starting up their own business! Taste - nothing special to other doughnuts we've had, infact sickly sweet... we had to share one, and throw the rest away! Unhealthy junk- food basically made to look posh in fancy boxes. Not overly cheap either for junk food!Service - no-one was overly friendly or stood out... may be because we only purchased one!

Tasty, good value and lots of vegan options. Only just started visiting but it’s great. Usually get takeaway and eat them at home. Thanks for always having some vegan donuts!
