We went for some drinks after we had dinner , The staff were really friendly at the bar. We had a game of pool, The drinks are at reasonable price .

Was in last week. Good choice of drinks very friendly and help full staff as could not make my mind up in what cider i wanted.

Had post gig drinks here. A pub brimming with atmosphere and has a welcoming friendly vibe.

Two of us booked a bottomless brunch as a belated birthday celebration. It was great from start to finish. Booking online was very easy. Our table was ready upon arrival. The waitresses who served us were attentive and ensured we were never waiting for a drink top up. The food menu included a choice of full breakfasts, pizzas or burgers. All very tasty. The drink menu included a good range of cocktails, beers or spirits. We each managed to try 9 of the 12 cocktails plus were given a shot not even on the menu. At £31 per person (on a Sunday) it was very good value and we had a fun 2 hours. Highly recommended if you're looking for a bottomless brunch! Thank you to the team for looking after us so well.

Well if you like Lilleys Cider this is the place for you with around 12 on offer it would be nice if they had some cask ales but you can't have everything in life. Great place for sports, and while it maybe a student bar it has a mix of all ages. Will definitely be back.. didn't eat but the food looks good 👍 still the best pub in Nottingham and the music was banging

Excellent vegan and vegetarian food all at really good prices. The service is very quick and friendly and the atmosphere is great, plus it's just around the corner from Rock City and the rescue rooms! Highly recommended

Nice place to chill before a gig in Rock City. Good selection of beer and good food. They could use a proper beer garden, but unfortunately there is no space for that so they have tiny garden/smoking area. Still good place 😃

i came here for bottomless brunch and it was very very good. The service was brilliant and especially our waiter katie she was brilliant kept asking if the food was okay and if we needed more drinks, the service was very very good. I would definitely recommend to come here would definitely come again xx

Food okay, but it's always so cold in there. Won't be going again. Not much fun eating with your coat on.

I have been here many times. Great pub with good selection of drinks and great atmosphere. Friendly, knowledgeable staff.Ate here last night before going to Rock City. The food was good and it came out quickly. One of our group was Gluten free and was well catered for. Definitely recommend. Also some deals with a drink included!

They have stopped doing cask ales. I will not return now. A shame - used to be a decent pub

Had a fab brunch on Saturday for friends birthday, they decorated table and the service was amazing, food was gorgeous, drinks flowing, really gave us great hosting. Would highly recomend. Will be coming back. Thank you to all at Horn in Hand you are fab x

Came for bottomless brunch on Saturday one of the best brunches I have done. Great value for money massive selection of drinks and not just cocktails and a great selection of food and huge portions. The service was excellent Lissy did a great job making sure our drinks were never empty and taking the time to give us some recommendations for bars. Definitely will be back again!!!!

Ideally placed for drinks both before and after gigs at the nearby Rock City. Good staff, atmosphere and range of drinks.

Good pub large screen's if you want to watch sports food also available and a fair if not exceptional selection of beers. Convenient place to meet before going to the nearby Rock City

Friendly enough pub, good central location but you need to be pushy to get served unless you're a teenager on a uni night out. Pizza was edible and burger OK.

Just around the corner from Rock City so perfect for a pint beforehand.

Went before Rock City, excellent bar, music was banging, great atmosphere, if I hadn't have been going to Rock City I'd have stayed.

Came across this pub by chance. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly.

Went to watch a match there on Sunday and was told by the pre-pubescent staff that they wouldn't turn down their terrible music unless other people came in to watch the match as it's a Sunday. It's a sports pub with multiple TVs and the premier league holds matches on Sundays every week, and the only people there were watching the match. They don't understand that commentary is vital to match atmosphere. Snotty manageress had some kind of attitude problem and even though I asked politely several times, still refused to turn off the terrible music or look at me in the eye. It should be customer and sport first. Never going back and neither should you.

Love going here before and after gigs, always a good atmosphere. Never tried the food though, but it looks pretty decent and there are deals throughout the week. Good selection of beer

Brilliant staff and awesome food

Booked here for Bottomless Brunch. Picked it because the price (£29) was good, they had sport on and because it was good value at 2hrs rather than the more common 90 minutes, that many other establishments offer. What I didn’t expect was the level of service we received. The staff were fantastic and attentive. We never had to wait for our drinks and the food came out quickly. The staff were friendly and quick to have a laugh with us. The selection of food and drinks was good and we left thoroughly happy and with plans to return. Thank you to the staff who worked Saturday 18th Nov’ 2023 👏🏼

Pre gig nose bag! I forgot to take a photo before we ate, so I apologize for the aftermath shot. We enjoyed the little rebel burger (Beef & Chicken) with onion rings and coleslaw. Absolutely superb, all washed down with a couple of craft ales. Staff are friendly and helpful, can't recommend highly enough, it's bang on! Shannon and Josh were the bar staff today, thank you! 🤘

Excellent pub just round corner from Rock City

Had a great pre gig food stop here last night. The staff are great and the food was good. It was wing Wednesday but they are plain wings we opted for the hot ones and BBQ instead and a lovely pepperoni pizza. Good selection of beers.

Friendly pub with a vast variety of drinks on offer including a fridge full of West Country cider. Food is reasonably priced dependable pub grub.

Went in with my friend for a pint today. Both of us are 21 with valid UK provisional licenses. Her ID got refused on the grounds that it doesn’t look like the new ones (post December 2021). After going home and bringing passport evidence to prove that the ID is infact real, her ID got confiscated by the bar staff, saying the police will get back to her with it. A few minutes later I walked in alone to get the drink that we already paid for, and the bar staff also returned the apparently ‘fake ID’ to me and just said to not use it again. So im a bit confused as to why they would cause emotional distress in the first place and tell us that it’s the rules they need to follow, and then immediately go back on themselves? Tip for the future guys, bring every form of ID that you own because two apparently isn’t enough here!

Bottomless brunches have become very popular recently and I can highly recommend the HiH for theirs. Excellent service with good upgrade options on food and drink.

Tiki sunrise cocktail is a must try. bar staff are freindly and accommodating, Shout out to millie! Definitely recommend popping your head in for a pint or for the tasty cocktails.

Bottomless brunch pre booked for hen party since November can’t fault our mills the waitress she has been amazing and the cocktails are nice but waiting 1.5 hours for food is a joke for them to then say we have ran out of eggs ! Not to mention to start they didn’t have advocados or waffles basically most of the menu was unavailable, the bloke was highly rude I found customers who ordered after us recieved there food before us and our food all arrived separately 4 out of 10 where sat waiting for an extra 15 minutes before our food arrived not to mention one of the four actually sent hers back and her reorder arrived before the remaining three a bloody joke ! Chips freezing cold also and a note to staff don’t lean over a customer to collect empty glasses whilst a customer is eating it is rude and unacceptable table manners ! I must admit he did provide shots as a £66 refund is not great considering it cost basically £340 for us to be sat waiting around
