Not very good. The onion bhaji was made in a factory and tasted awful. The chicken tikka was made from mechanically reclaimed chicken, again from a factory and tasted of fish. The bhuna sauce was ok. Not recommended.

Generous portion size’s and a really good price point which did not affect the quality of the food. The waiters are very friendly and went the extra mile to ensure we had an excellent dining experience.

All I have to say- they serve quite an average Indian food to be favorable enough for English people. No issues with that! However we being indians known what our different cuisines and food taste like! For example bhuna curry is mostly spicy and with loads of flavour, however the bhuna chicken curry here was sweet even though we made it clear that we don't want sweet tasting curry. And chicken tikka biryani is not even biryani, its chicken pulaow! (Fried rice) Overall very average indian restaurant. The food looks great though and service is good too.

This place was recommended to us but we were really disappointed. Chicken Pokara starter with next to no chicken inside. Onion bhaji’s with a lack of Onions. Poppadom’s without a pickle tray, but a side plate with a small amount of salad on and some mint sauce. The mains were not much better, a lack of Chicken in both dishes. The Garlic Naan was nice though. The Service was good

We had booked a table for 2 at 19:00 on a Thursday and were welcomed and offered a choice of available tables. The menu and food were excellent in both quality and quantity and when asked unfinished food was placed in containers and provided in a bag to take home. The service was attentive but not hovering and we were definitely not rushed and encouraged to stay as long as we liked for additional drinks - and indeed stayed until 22:00. The atmosphere was very friendly, relaxed and informal - a very pleasant evening, definitely to be repeated.

Went to the Oasis as our usual restaurant had a private party. Forgotten how good it was, will be back again soon.

First went to this place in 1991 when it first opened and went there regularly for many years. I went back in 2019 for the first time in 20 years and I reckon the owner recognised me. Still great food and service. I hope to go again when I get back to the UK.

Really good food and good atmosphere. Family run. Two courses plus bottle of wine and two pints of beer £61 for 2. What not to like?

Yet again, superb food, but the young guy doing some of the serving was clearly in a rush to get home. A shame really as it spoilt the moment for several of us. That said, the other guy had the customer service the younger guy lacked and did his best. With great food and extra After Eight mints, it still deserves four stars.

Ordered through Just Eat. Extremely disappointing with this place and won't be back again. 1 curry and 2 sides took over 90 mins to arrive. On arrival it was tasteless and barely warm. Not happy.

Such a fantastic friendly welcome. Restaurant, clean, warm and well set out. Menu is extensive at great prices. Service fantastic and extremely attentive staff. The chicken is so tender and flavoursome. The Jaipuri is amazing and the naan and tandoori roti are always cooked perfectly. I honestly cannot fault anything. The best Indian in Shirley !! Thank you team and we will be back along with our son !!

A decent and friendly local Indian with good food and beer. Excellant special menu to include starter/side/main and popadoms (surcharge for seafood). Service a bit slow at times but will definitely be going back.

This used to be better. The curries have less taste than before. Im not sure if they have changed the chef. I went there a second time and had something different and it was just not as tasty as maybe a year ago. The people I was with were disappointed too. range of food, generous portions but the curries are disappointing. there has been an offer on for a while now sunday-thursday with starter, curry & rice or bread for something like 10.95 though there are some exclusions on the menu where there is a little extra to pay. the staff are great too.

We have been visiting this restaurant for 37 years....that speaks volumes!! The restaurant is has a fresh, modern feel....the staff are friendly, attentive, well, they are everything and more....the food, is THE BEST, of any of this type of cuisine, which I have tasted....the do a take away service....food arrives quickly, and piping hot!! THE OASIS IS THE BEST!!

Food delicious as always and the staff are really friendly and accommodating. The mint sauce from the Oasis is the best I've had. Decent sized portions and very reasonable. My go to curry house in Shirley! Will be back again soon 😋

I have never been to Oasis and as much I as I like to praise, I'll only do when it's due... the choice of meals and sundries is to be expected, comfortable decor and attentive staff... meal though was pretty mediocre compared to other fine establishments! Still, as I said I had never been there and I will be reluctant to go again (I was with work colleagues so it wasn't my choice...)!

Good old fashioned balti restaurant on the Shirley shops high street. I've been coming here for years and it's always been consistently good and reasonably priced. Only gets 3 stars because its dated and has better competion locally if you want more contemporary Indian food. Don't let that put you off though. Try it for yourself. If you want older style Indian balti dishes (Madras, dopiaza, bhuna, massala etc) - it's a 5 star. Reasonably priced and a warm welcome from the owner is guaranteed!

This is my favourite place to go for my Lam curry , tandoori chicken, king prawn , Fresh nan bread and fresh green salad aldi is really good and the main thing is the costumer serves is brilliant the owner of this place been there for more then 30 or 40 years I think he’s a great person.

Was good. Food was nice and it's on the Stratford road so it's close to a few places where you can have a drink afterwards. I did feel a bit cramped, I don't know how the staff feel dodging in and out of all the tables but it is a bit hard to manoeuvre in and out. Staff were also really kind and friendly.

Always a winner very nice staff and a good family atmosphere.....the food is always nice strongly recommend tandoori king prawns there fantastic.... when choosing a dish be mindful the heat in the slightly hotter curry's they are hotter than most places... always a good night out

Superb meal. It was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Very friendly place for a night out with friends or for just a couple. From the looks of things the takeout was very popular too although it never interferred with the guest dinning in.

Old style Indian restaurant you are greeted with a smile when you enter. If you have to wait for a table there is a small bar area. The food is reasonably priced and very tasty. I would recommend the chicken pakora as a starter it is nicely spiced without being too hot. Cant wait to go back there

Good food, only let down is that I had it delivered and it wasn't piping hot. Food was tasty though and was still edible, just wish it had been hotter.

Food was awful my starter was served on a plastic plate, me and my partner had different curry dishes and they tasted the same really bland. Atmosphere wasn't great don't think I will be returning anytime soon.

Ordered a takeaway, first time I have ever used this restaurant, it was great food was really tasty, would definitely use this place again.
