Had a butter chicken curry which should should be a savoury dish but when I took it out the bag I noticed that it looked like pink and yellow custard and as soon as i tasted it, it was like eating a dessert.. went straight to the dogs..... disgusting. Was a curry made for an English man like korma or tikka massage which Asians don't eat. I thought that being Asian they would have a basic concept of what a curry is, this was condensed milk and was just full of sugar... this is not a curry in any form.. I didn't even Try the chicken pieces as the sweet sauce was so sickly that I regretted buying from this place ...

We order from here regularly. But tonight it was vile. Chicken was pink and black inside and smelt funny- that went straight in the bin. Lamb chops chewy with no taste and mixed grill was not nice either. Naan was burnt. Really disappointed:( Won’t be ordering again from here!

Been using Indigo Express for a year or more now - our previous favourite take out in Solihull had increased so much in price. A family recommendation saw us try Indigo Express. The food is just amazing and incredible value for money. A couple of weeks ago I had what was probably the best vegetable dansak I had every eaten. It is my go to curry of choice, so I've tried a good many in different restaurants and takeaways. It tasted so fabulous that last night, when playing a family game of 'what would you choose as your last ever meal on earth' I said mine would me an Indigo Express vegetable Dansak ! No better praise than that. Please don't be fooled by the external appearance of the shop, which could do with a bit of a revamp - the food is top quality. You do sometimes wait longer for the food than initially advised, but never too much longer and worth it as the food is so hot. Keep up the good work Indigo Express team because you are appreciated and always recommended. A happy vegetarian. Maxine Owen

Food was very average. Not enough dip supplied with the nachos so 3/4 of a bag of dry nachos, and they forgot part of our order, but there's no contact details. Food was good enough but the service and care was poor, especially as the items were marked off on the receipt and still forgotten.

I have tried many dishes and each of them tasted fabulous, pocket friendly food is amazing and so the staff… 😎

Excellent food and swift service. Authentic flavours and each dish is true to its own. Quality is superb, ingredients used are of the best standards. A great takeaway for Solihull, Acocks Green, Hall Green and Shirley residents.

If some is Indian food lover they should try this place. They really have a fabulous taste as well as options. I am ordering from here since a long time and they never made me disappointed, delicious food.

I've been using indigo's for around 10 years always been a loyal customer and this was my go to place I would refuse to order from anywhere else, but tonight they let me down badly waited for nearly an hour past the delivery time and still nothing, they cost me a booking on the most important night on my works calendar so now not only do I not have my food I've also lost £400 booking absolutely fuming , time to look for somewhere else from now on as it's slowly going into decline over the last few months , very disappointed with indigo's after such a long time being a customer

I normally give 5 stars really nice food. But Friday I ordered when I dished up straight away it was cold it was if the driver had walked. Or been sitting on the side for sometime really disappointed had to re heat but which I don’t like doing so mine went in the bin. May try again don’t I don’t know shame had these for years. .

Delivery driver charged me extra for "not being in their catchment area" however didn't mention this on the phone. Couple of things were missing too. Shame as the food was nice but I won't use them again.

I have ordered from here several times and the food has always been very good. They normally include several complimentary poppadoms, a couple of small containers of mint sauce and two small bags of salad. Tonight I ordered the same size of order and only one of each of the complimentary items. I would suggest you don’t bother at all, rather than hardly anything - it’s like a customer leaving a 20p tip at the end of a meal!!!!🤦🏻‍♂️🙄

I waited for My food for longtime. The man in the till given food to the people who come before me. The staffs were very slow in cooking the food even if its busy time also the customer service was very bad. Eventhough the food was also not upto mark it was way too cold. Don't recommend this place to anyone and won't order food from here anymore.

The desi lamb chefs special is mouth watering 3rd time ordering as I love it so much, the fresh naan and food, fast delivery if you want clean , fresh and flavour you dont know what your missing if you have not tried this place indigo express gospel lane food is original style, love it so much

Amazing food and service! Couldn’t recommend enough

First time there - sorry not good , my chicken tikka starter was half cooked raw in the middle it was quite soft as in fleshy in texture ,so had my suspicians before taking a bite , lamb curry v greasy, honestly really not good ,I nearly walked out as soon as I walked in the place , but then I stopped to read a review from some guy from the evening mail who raved about the place so though ok ill give it a go. Dont know what that guy had but it def wasnt what was presented to me., I wish I had of waited and cooked for myself . Ill take this review down after a few days guys but you need to know foods not reasonably priced when you cant eat it, it then becomes a total waste of money .

Have been a returning customer for some time, service had sadly dropped over the years, recently under new management, same great chef. Have been back a few times since, the new chaps seemed to have aced the service again, feel a warm welcome everytime and always look after me. Food is ace, best Tandoori Lamb Chops around, Lamb Tikka Biryani is ace too, King Prawn Jalfrezi… no competition! Well done guys

Had Tandori mixed grill, meat was tender, tasty and not greasy. Hubby had chicken Dansak which he said was fresh and delicious. Lamb chop starter very tender and tasty.

Did enjoy a few deliveries from here, but tonight they've annoyed me, advertise as open til 11pm, phoned an order to collect which they seem put out about, then got there for 10.30pm and all the lights are off, practically threw order at me and charged full price and missing an item, its ruined my night and will not be going back, should have stuck to my usual local who know how to treat paying customers.i would have given 0 stars if I could.

Be very careful before you order through this take away shop, because: When I ordered the food on 1/7/22 from restaurant they accepted the order on just eat app. Then call me after 45 minutes to ask for more £10 for delivery by stating it’s too far to delivers . When I confirmed that I have already paid £3.99 by just eat app, he said we want more £10 or we will not deliver . At the end he did not deliver the food at all and kept all of £48.00 which were paid through just eat . its been more than 3 weeks we still waiting for our full refund.

Have had the pleasure of deliveries from here since they opened. Always delighted with the service and quality of the food and tonight they have outdone themselves. If there was a 6 star rating, we would be clicking on that.

I love indigo express, the food is always perfect, hot and the customer service is exceptional. My personal favourites are the pathia and perwari naan. I wouldn't buy from anywhere else.

Ordered a takeaway and it arrived quickly and was just as good as eat in. The king prawn puree was amazing and they were very generous with the prawns. The lamb chops are delicious as was the curries we ordered. Ensure to let them know in the comments just how you would like everything cooked and you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to order again.

Was very disappointed, this was recommended to me by a friend, could not eat the king prawn butterfly it tasted awful, the crumb type batter was terrible, you always get a little bag of salad & a mint dip to go with your starter but nothing, nor a wedge of lemon, balti was ok but not the best I have had, rice was stuck together in clumps & had to separate it with a fork, sorry don’t normally complain but had a long shift at work today & was so looking forward to this

Best curry house in the area ...the food always arrives hot and taste lovely..... I have tried quite a few different things on the menu and there all delicious .... worth ordering from here 👍

This place definitely caters to the caucasian palate. I ordered a korma, and while traditionally not a chilli dish, it didnt have much depth of flavour . The sauce felt like it was made of cream, coconut milk and sugar, therefore becoming quite sickly after a quarter of a naan of it. My gut tells me that the chicken was boiled beforehand and added to the sauce. The Bombay potato was on the mild side. Bland would be harsh but it didnt pack a lot of flavour. I dont believe everything needs to be chilli and spicy to the point of needing a cold shower, but there should be a harmony of flavours from the dry spices to the onions and so on. Delivery driver was friendly.

After years of using another local Indian restaurant for our Saturday night takeaways and getting fed up of a curry filled with one potato and a thousand onions we wanted to find a new place and tried Indigo and very impressed first delivery no issues curry, prathas, puri bread, poppodoms, rice were all perfectly cooked and tasted delicious will definitely return.

Always had great food from indigo The service is second to none nothing is ever any trouble for even did the food for my 50 th party. They provided free food and snacks for my 2 charity nights. Always go the extra mile

Cheap tasting food with no flavour price was cheap but you get what you pay for. I won't be returning.

My chicken balti was dry and I asked for lots of onion and tomatoes and there was not one of them in it it used to be lovely but not any more

I've ordered lamb chops and they were burnt so it went to bin Chicken thawa which suppose to be dry was so wet with six long layer of onions lots of cream and it was sweet. It was the first and last time. Wasted £30

Nice food and fast delivery although I normal collect. I've never had a bad meal. They are nice staff that run it too.

We WERE regular customers of Indigo for many years. The food was usually of a consistent level. Quite nice, occasionally greasy but overall if you were not happy with something they tried their best to rectify it which was very accommodating of them and so all in all did carried on ordering with them. But as of recently the past few months they have changed ownership and the customer service is a joke , We had twice complained validly regarding something with our meal on two separate occasions. They did not offer to rectify it but offered stupid excuses and basically told us this is how they do things??? We will not order from them again.

I'm a regular customer of indigo I go there twice a week due to the food and service been so good. I highly recommend this establishment. Karl
