Exceptional service, delicious food and very affordable. My partner is English and his favourite food so far is actually a desert called papanasi 🙈😂we going to this restaurant on his request mainly for papanasi. The restaurant is very clean and the staff very welcoming! Highly recommend if you want something authentic and organic food !

The owner and everyone who works there , they treat you extremely professionally and nice ! We always go there for a traditional meal with or little boy , which they spoil him with sweets or oranges or whatever they have! We also organised my husband birthday there and the food drinks and atmosphere was fantastic!!! We absolutely loved it! Highly recommended!!!!! 5 stars plus!🤩🤩🤩

Update: last visit 27 Sep, re order ciorba de burta and not the same as first time. Taste old from 2 - 3 days ago and looks like re-heat over too much☹️ Mix grill menu wasn't satisfied either. Potato wedges too dry and no taste. Chicken also dry but when cut into half has water,probably from frozen ☹️ mici has taste a bit strange. Service was okay until have little problem with payment causing by their POS device have no conection with the internet. And was no solution until they advice my husband have to go to take cash from ATM ☹️ Overall,,Unpleasant feeling ☹️☹️☹️ Choose this restaurant because we miss to eat papanasi and ciorba de burta. The taste from papanasi serving with strawberry jam is super! Remind me three years ago when i enjoy it in mountain also in my husband hometown. It become one of my favorite desert since then. Ciorba de burta also really autenthic taste, just like what we ever eat home. Romanian cuisine never gone wrong and always tastefull. Here also they have homemade wine serving warm (vin fierte) si visinata. At this winter, is perfect to have a sip on it. Overall the food was super, the service is very hospitality, i could suggest to put music more low volume, maybe to put romanian folk song would be much better to have nice atmosphere😊 multumesc pentru mancare bun

Un restaurant foarte primitor, personalul foarte amabil și mâncarea delicioasa!Va recomand cu cea mai mare încredere,am făcut botezul fetiței noastre acolo și ne am simțit foarte bine .Ne vom intoarce cu siguranta foarte curând .

La Grande gusto mancarea este buna, am incercat ciorbele in dese randuri... au fost bune, sarmalutele delicioase... carnea buna, problema consta in gramajul unelor portii... asa zisa tochitura are doar o manuta de carne ! In rest n am ce reprosa, mi a placut tot de fiecare data, patronii sunt draguti amandoi ! Nu pot spune la fel despre Food fantasy... un alt restaurant romanesc, cu staff foarte serviabil, preturi mici... insa mancarea este de toata jena, foarte rea si farfuriile lor put !

Ajunge fix la suflet si daca esti bolnavior, ciorba este minunata. Preturi corecte. Recomandam cu mult drag si incredere 🥰👍

Bunicel, totuși un pic supraevaluat în opinia mea. Accept că gusturile nu se discuta. Cam mari preturile pentru ceea ce se oferă. Mâncare gustoasa mai putin ciorba care mi s-a părut doar așa și așa. Porții mici pentru un restaurant românesc. Totuși dacă ești în Leicester iti recomand sa încerci.

We went there for the first time today and we had "mici" , polenta with sour cream & grated feta cheese and, obviously we couldn't resist trying the stuffed cabbage rolls. The food was amazing. Best Romanian food I had in England, and I have to say that I tried a few Romanian restaurants around Midlands and London, this is by far the best. The staff was so welcoming, nice and so patient with us while we were deciding what to eat( obviously it was so hard deciding because there are so many tasty courses to choose from ). The place was clean and tidy, reasonably priced and I love the fact that you can pay by card too, unlike other places where you can only pay cash. All in all, we are so happy we found this place, I would recommend this to anyone and we will definitely return sometime.

Nice place. I had the salmon and the fetta salad. It was simple but well executed. Washed down with a delightful aperol cocktail (got the taste for it in sweeden but I would recommend). Lovely staff. Reasonable prices. Would recommend.

Oribil mâncarea de toată jena . Cartofii țărănești au fost serviți după multe zile și salata de varza a fost refolosita . Nu recomand .

O portie de carnita cu carnati(o mână de carne)este 16£ si vine fara garnitura, fara salata...Aveti impresia ca va imbogatiti daca puneti ciorba cu 2-3 firmituri de carne. Livrata la punga, efectiv jumatate din supe erau in punga de delivery. Cum se presupune ca o mancam? In ce restaurant ati mancat voi ciorba cu usturoi in interior? Nu este dupa preferinte la voi? In afara de papanasi si mici, nu aveti nimic bun!!!!

Place has been recently renovated, food in really decent portions comparing with other similar places and reasonable prices, nice atmosphere, clean and welcoming. Food tasty and fresh. Would definitely recommend for a good meal and drinks.

During my lunchbreak today, I visited Grande Gusto, the restaurant nearby offering traditional Romanian cuisine. I asked the staff there for their recommendation, and was not disappointed! I tried Tochitura moldoveneasca, which is a pork stew and was really nice. The meat was cooked very well, and the eggs were just soft enough to melt over everything. I was offered fresh orange juice as an accompanying beverage, along with free tap water. Would definitely recommend giving Grande Gusto a visit, as their staff, music and wall art give the place a great vibe. They also do take away!

Very nice and cosy restaurant. The traditional romanian food is very good and I was so pleased with how clean this place is. We went with no reservations and really enjoyed our meal . We ended up ordering some for home because we wanted to have more things from the menu and couldn't eat it all in one go. Don't miss the traditional dessert " papanasi" . It is worth the calories.Also , while you dine you can enjoy an exhibit of fine art created by one of the owners.👏👏👏 We will definitely be back !

disgusting behaviour towards the customer after ordering online! 🤨🤭 The lady wasn’t listening to my point, when I mentioned that I’m vegetarian and I can’t eat bacon, she said i should’ve mentioned this when ordering and when I specified that on their website there’s no description listing the ingredients or if there are any vegetarian options she kept insisting that she’s right and it was my fault for not knowing the food I was ordering when I’m not even Romanian myself. 😕 There was no way of knowing my order contained bacon as the website does not specify it

A true hidden gem! Patronii sunt niște oameni de toată stima. Cu umor, respect și sinceritate. Prețurile sunt accesibile iar mâncarea este mai buna ca in multe restaurante din România. Recomand mâncarea de fasole, micii și Papanasii! Cu siguranța o sa mai revenim cât de des se poate.

Enjoyed an excellent mixed grill at this friendly little restaurant. Pieces of lean steak and pork, chicken liver, two types of sausage, all beautifully cooked, just the right amount for a tasty lunch. Finished with a lovely pancake and ice cream, big enough to share between the two of us. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the staff are very pleasant. Highly recommended!
