Martin Bros. Micropizzeria in Leicester

First time here last night. Incredible! Small place so make sure you book! Service was amazing, knowledgeable staff for pizzas and beers. Best pizzas in Leicester imo 🙌

We thought to go check out what's the hype... the pizza was okay but the salt & rosemary flatbread wasn't all that expecially the oil dip was foul. Waiter and waitress (big guy was lovely, the lady was ok but looked like she didn't want to be there). Reason why for the low rating we tried to say hello to the owner, he didn't want to know us because he had his head stuck up his arse. Rather stick to Gusto in Birmingham proper italian food & pizzas👌

Best pizza spot in Leicester by some stretch. The pizzas are flavourful, seasoned well, and the dough has a lovely texture. Add to that the friendly staff and excellent selection of beers and there is very little to fault. Pay no attention to entitled individuals who think this is a Pizza Hut where they can drop in and grab takeout whenever they want. It's a small place so be sure to call ahead to book.

Absolute joke, I just can’t believe that I drove from Hinckley to Martin bros for a ‘takeaway’ margarita pizza, only to be told that they’re not doing any takeout. The chap said it’s because they’re busy. Come on… you only had 16 people sitting there and my order was a take out. Even when I told him where I came from for the pizza, he couldn’t care less, I was even happy to wait. As a regular customer who’s ALWAYS done a take out from Martin Bros, with regret I will NOT be returning especially if I’m at a risk of being told they can’t effectively make pizzas and serve customers for takeouts. This place defo needs to get a contingency plan so customers are affected, especially if travelling from a distance on 2 of the busiest nights. UPDATE: My update based on Martin Bros feedback: At no point does it say on your website that we need to call to check if you’re busy on not for a takeaway. This is the first time I’ve ever heard this. HOWEVER… I did call and my phone was not answered. If you had the courtesy to pick up the phone to tell me that you’re busy, we may not be here questioning your lack of customer service. And please don’t insult my intelligence, based on my conversations with friends in the area this is becoming a common issue / bad reputation with your establishment.

We had a margherita pizza with buffalo mozzarella. I’d say it was way too salty to my taste. It wasn’t balanced which was a shame because the pizza dough was so nice, light and soft, and the fragrance of the tomato and mozzarella was hyping up my expectations. The coffee and the service were great!

Excellent pizza, with friendly service in an intimate dining environment. Great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks on top of pizza that's hard to choose between! One of the best in Leicester for pizza!

We hosted a private event here to celebrate our wedding - all of our guests have fed back to us how impressed they were with the food and service. We had a mixture of meat-eaters, vegetarians, and vegans, all of whom had plenty of choice and enjoyed their meals. The service the team offered was exceptional, and they made us feel wholly welcome. No request seemed too much for the staff, and whilst they were very attentive, they were not at all overbearing. The bar offered a great variety of drinks, both alcoholic and soft. The pizzas were incredible. We can't find fault at all! Thanks so much to the entire team for making a special day even more memorable.

My brother hosted his wedding dinner here and I can’t recommend it enough. Whether for food, drinks or hosting events, the staff are super attentive, the food felt authentic and tasted amazing and the decor was cozy yet lively! If you haven’t been, I really recommend you go!

Probably the best pizzarias I've tried in Leicester. Pizzas were presented well and came out really quickly. Good choice of pizzas on the menu and the cheesy garlic flatbread was really nice. Moderately priced - 3 pizzas, garlic bread 1 dip and 2 drinks came to £65 Very small place with limited seating. A selection of miniature games to keep the kids distracted while waiting for your food.

I was working nearby, and i was recommended by a friend to pop in if in the area. I was not disappointed at all. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food and drink didn't take long at all. The pizza was spot on and made freshly. i would definitely recommend the Big Frank pizza 🍕 👌

1st time here today and unfortunately will be the last. 3 tables who arrived after us were served food before us. Waited 45 mins for our food to come out and when it did arrive, 1 order was wrong and the other pizza had a hair in it, so both pizzas had to go back, meaning the wait was even longer. The pizzas themselves were really good, unfortunately let down by the service. Wouldn't recommend.

I went Martin Bros Pizza couple times and I loved it but today I ordered takeaway pizza and margarita one is disappointed, however I found black hair in my pizza:( Btw I am blonde.

Great pizza with great toppings. The service was fantastic. I had a white hot chocolate too which was lovely.

Delicious pizza and great selection of non alcoholic craft beer. I also drink alcoholic beer, but I tried the non alcoholic ones out of curiousity and because there was so much choice. They taste amazing.

Spontaneously stopped here for a quick snack and it turned out to be the best pizza I ever had in Leicester! Atmosphere felt lovely and clean too.

The food is amazing and I have had countless takeaways from here and few dine ins. but I have found their customer service is very poorly accommodating for dine in bookings and quite blunt attitude.

Although the pizza here is outstanding, I am disappointed for the service they provide. The wait for the pizza to arrive was extremely long, (over 40 mins) and they do not seem to accommodate our needs, rejected 2 of my requests and they even charged for service!! Not very happy.

Another place ticked off my foodie bucket list🍕✅ What we had: • Rocket Ham Pizza (10/10) • Cheesus Spiced Pizza (10/10) • Garlic Aioli Dips (8/10) The food here was absolutely sensational. Since having my first Neapolitan pizza in Italy, I have never looked back and it is now my all time favourite food. You can tell that the ingredients used are of a high quality and both pizzas tasted so fresh (which they were with the beauty of it being a Neapolitan style pizza). They have so many options on the menu (but not too many that’s it’s overwhelming) and I can’t wait to go back to try more! The atmosphere in the restaurant is very calm and chilled. Perfect for date night, a meal out with friends, or even a nice lunch during the daytime. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. They were very attentive and part of the reason that we had such a great experience! Overall: 10/10 ⭐️

Not great pizza. The crust was doughy and not cooked. The middle was runny and dissolved. Staff were less than friendly. Maybe we were unlucky but the place was loud with an eight year old birthday party with screaming toddlers. Given the reviews and prices, we were disappointed with the quality of pizza.

Very poor service. Everything we asked for there was a smart answer refusing our request. Not once did any of the staff came up to us and asked if we were OK. I had get up atleast 5 times to get the attention of the staff. I won't be recommending the place.

Asked to order immediately at 7:30 on arrival in an empty-ish restaurant (kitchen closes at 8, restaurant at 9). Nice enough pizza, but very high prices and rude staff not worth the hassle.

Really nice tiny pizzeria with lovely sourdough pizzas. Plenty of choice and good vegetarian options.. Nice efficient service, functional ambience. Parking is on nearby streets. Popular!

Top quality pizzas & superb flavours!

Went here on a whim on Saturday and had a brilliant experience. The pizzas were amazing and the beer was excellent, definitely visiting again the next time I'm in Leicester. I would recommend booking at weekends, we went in early and were fortunate to get a table for an hour

As a baker and avid pizza lover, I have been wanting to go here since it first opened and I finally got the chance last night. The food was incredible! We had the broschetta and garlic bread with cheese and it was perfect, dripping in garlic butter 🤤! The SGT Peppers was the perfect balance and the base was soft & fluffy! You can tell that the food is a labour of love. The service was great and staff were friendly. I just wish I took some pictures of the food but I was too hungry to wait haha. I’ll definitely be back and will be bringing my family! 🥰

An absolute delight! Perfection! I’ve been lactose intolerant for 30+ years and no one in the UK can get the pizza right. The pizza here is just incredible - cooked and put together with complete perfection. I can’t gush enough! Also, the coffee is superb. And, the Halloween cocktails are just to die for. Perhaps you're thinking you'd like to challenge yourself to this month's special Carolina Reaper themed pizza, or even just try the signature "Reaper sauce" made in house with fresh Carolina Reaper chillies. Perhaps you are the "spice guy" amongst your friends. Perhaps you think you can ignore the staff's warning that the pizza has a "bit of a bite" as the usual salesman's bluster. Please, if any of the above applies to you I would ask to check your hubris and take a moment. Please, for the love of all that is holy, decline the offer of having the fresh chillies on the pizza as well as the Reaper sauce. I put my body on the line to bring you this warning: "Fear the Reaper."

This is a great spot if you're looking for nicely done Neapolitan style with tasteful topping combos. Had the pickled peppadew and found the chorizo, peppadew peppers and chili oil worked really well together for a spicy/sour kick. I had a bit of a strange experience with service tonight though, not sure if itthings were off because of the weather: My party of 2 showed up around 6 to share a flight and to order 2 pies to go. We didn't have reservations and the place was packed, but the server that greeted us said she would ask her higher-up to see if we could be accommodated. She advised since we were just sharing a flight they could arrange a makeshift spot for us by pulling up 2 chairs by the kitchen, in front of the restrooms. I'm grateful because it is a popular spot with limited seating and was packed. Shortly after we got our flight we saw a table of 4 became available and we asked if we could move. The higher-up said we could sit there but only until the next party arrived which would be in 10 minutes. I thought this meant they had another reservation coming soon, so we agreed to move there but finish our drinks quickly. After a few minutes we decided to place our pizza orders to go and started on our flight. Then the higher-up approached us again and reiterated that we now only had 5 mins and if the next party arrived before we finished our drinks he'd have to ask us to leave. It didn't feel great being told this but it was fair as he warned us. However after 5 mins were up the higher-up asked the server to move us to the bar seating by the window which just opened up. We just went along and again, I'm grateful we now had spots and weren't asked to leave. However after some time passed we looked back at the larger table we were moved from and saw that no "Reserved" sign was placed on it like with other tables and no-one showed up. This left me with the impression that the higher-up wanted to free-up that table of 4 even though there was no reservation in anticipation of a bigger walk-in party. From a business perspective I get it, a potential party of 4 coming in for a dine-in meal is more lucrative than 2 people sharing a flight and getting takeout. But from a customer service perspective, I felt this definitely could have been handled better. I was eager to try/support this place because it has great reviews and is a local establishment, but I felt our feelings were not reciprocated based on how our experience was handled.

I had a pizza margarita and a glass of red wine. Pizza was delicious. Staff is friendly. Service is fast. I walked in and there was table available. Only downside is the atmosphere. Place looks like a fast food restaurant.

Really varied and interesting beer selection - Northern Monk recommended. Very tasty sour dough pizza. Buzzing friendly small place. Definitely worth a visit.
