Amazing January 2024 Went here today for lunch with my partner. Well what can I say we were served by the lovely Zoe she took our order advised us on what was the best deal and suited our budget. Zoe then went to the kitchen and cooked us one of the loveliest meals I’ve ever eaten in a pub. Kieran the assistant manager made sure we were well taken care of and everything we required was met with a smile and exemplary manners. I would recommend this pub as 5 star for a great day out or just to pop in for a quick drink best food and service I’ve experienced in a slough pub

As always had a lovely meal with my family Kieran always goes above and beyond with his lovely customer service making sure everything is perfect every time! Lovely family pub highly recommended

Came to this pub last week as aswell as today with my Mum and Nan. I can confidently say that it is one of the friendliest pubs I have ever been in. The staff are polite and go above and beyond to accommodate the needs of the guests. I had the cheese burger today and it was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be coming back when visiting family.

A lunchtime visit with family. Today was my treat lunch after my diet class. I chose the Bacon and blue burger and can honestly say that it was the best burger I have had in some time. Staff are so happy and friendly, they accommodate meals when I am restricted with calories too. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Kieran and Tracy were amazing as always today, thank you so much for such a lovely experience as always 😊

The first point I’d like to make is we’ve been to the Kings Head lots of times because we know the area and the pub very well and we’d booked for 10 people for lunch at 1 pm. Our family are from Cippenham. Today was not great though but my initial comments are not related to the staff who obviously try their best but the premises are very tired and oh those toilets ! The main problem is just guys running the whole front of house and so it takes ages to order and the food started to arrive after an hour. My steak was totally inedible and Kieran kindly refunded my money for the mixed grill. The other meals were average but I would encourage Greene King to spend some money on the buildings and a few more staff just to cheer everybody up ! We’ve eaten at many Greene King outlets and the ordering at the bar routine doesn’t work when it’s busy especially when stocks are low and staff are in short supply. We probably won’t be back for quite a while !

Another lovely meal in this friendly pub , the lady (I think her name is Tracy ) went Out of her way for our order as we are all on a diet and wanted meals that were not actually set meals on the menu , had a great chat with her , dog friendly and a great place for good food at great value … love this pub 💖

Christmas day was lovely the food excellent. Not rushed the staff were great and couldn't do enough to make it a lovely afternoon. Tha kyou to Tracy and staff. X

Very poor roast: meat tough, carrots overcooked, broccoli raw, potatoes straight out of pre cooked by deep fat freezer bag. Very disappointing- one guest said worst roast she’d ever had

Had a fantastic time. 25 of us for our annual Christmas family get together. Everything was perfect. Food, hospitality and they even threw in a free quiz. We go every year and they never disappoint

Amazing food! Wonderful service! Fantastic atmosphere! We had our family Xmas gathering here and, despite having 40 people, the food was brought out together and hot!

When ever we come we are always treated well and the service is always great when we go out everyone lives the food. Recommend going here love it!!

A great atmosphere, a fantastic group of staff friendly and helpful people. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. The food portions were excellent and very enjoyable. The on site car parking is a good benefit too.
