We went here as a catch up with friends. They’re from Bristol so recommended as they have been before. Wanted to write a review as I think I would want to know if I was a restaurant owner. The price point obviously meant we had higher expectations. The food was only ‘ok’, especially dissatisfaction for the £380 bill (4 adults, 2 kids and a toddler) Like what other reviews have said, the food was ‘warm’ at best.The food could do with a little more flavour, like pairing unusual things together or with more seasoning ?? I don’t know! I’m not a chef but I know I’ve eat better food than this! Maybe some salt and pepper on the tables would have helped. The £5 for a small plate of tasteless carrots was disappointing. The most confusing part was as when I asked the waiter, whether the food was organic. He proceeded to ask us what makes food organic then? I think a little education for Your staff would go a long way, as it doesn’t seem to be in keeping with what you’re trying to do. We were met with, ‘some of it is organic’. A bit more transparency wouldn’t go miss here. Also as other reviews have said, the price point you expect great ‘personal’ service, from staff who are into the ethos of the company too.

Just had an amazing meal for my 60th at estabulo! Both Tom & Brennan, were exceptional at table service and were soooo friendly and helpful. All the food was amazing, but husband was nearly crying when they told him there was no garlic bread! 🤣🤣 bless!

Visited Tapri on Sunday evening. Looks very nice from outside and inside. i travelled from another area to Himley Hall for a day out with the family and decided to have dinner at Tapri as had heard of this place before. Ordered large mix grill which was disappointing did not taste good, the veg noodles tasted like they were from the previous day. Coke on the tap was so flat and they said that's how it's supposed to be. When the waitress bought the plates over the top one was dirty and I had to tell her to change it. The tartar sauce had a hair in it and all they could suggest was to offer me a fresh portion of chips which I declined. We then left. Will not be visiting ever again. A total waste of £70+.

Ordered from them today and they were excellent. Such tastey food, generous portions, reasonably priced and arrived quickly.

Been to this restaurant many times over the years and it’s always a favourite of mine … food is always well cooked and hot and just fabulous. Ambience is great and staff are so friendly and fun. A little gem and definitely worth a visit.

The food arrived very quickly and was delicious. There are also plenty of options for veganes/vegetarians.

Lovely pub, excellent food, friendly staff. This was the second time of visiting and won’t be the last.

Had eggs royale on Saturday. Told the guy ( Robbie?) it was too cheap and restaurant quality. So good I dragged chef back to try it today because I wanted to see what he thought - and it was excellent again - we agreed that dish would be £s more in another setting!! Well done Robbie and team.
