We had an amazing Sunday lunch thank you very much to all the staff! We will be back again!

What a fabulous find. Amazing food, incredible owners, chilled sophisticated ambiance. Almost don’t want to give it a rave review and keep it for myself! I only wish I were a local so I could work my way through the entire menu!

Best squid so far in UK. The food in general is really really good, one of the best since moved to UK in 2016. Nice atmosphere, very pleasant staff. Highly recommend, definitely worth it if you love good food.

Food came out promptly and was delicious! Had a roast and the chicken was juicy, yorkshires were perfect and portion sizes were good - didn't really need the extras we'd ordered!

We had the oysters, chowder and crab platter! Beautiful seafood, lovely wine, great service. Perfect sunny alfresco lunch.

Consistently great food and service, this is potentially the best coffee shop in the lake district. The staff are so friendly, especially the manager, she's absolutely fab! I don't usually eat pies but they are melt in your mouth here. The kids loved the ice cream machine and the choice. Inside and outside, the environment is lovely and always look forward to returning here, thank you!

First time visiting here and very impressed. Tables all very nicely laid out and clean. We explained to the waiter we only had 50 minutes and he was so obliging getting our meal out to us quickly. Beautiful food; excellent presentation and quality. Would definitely return.

If a company or attraction has a website one could assume that they would bother to keep it up to date. Sadly we traveled to visit today, having checked online that it was open, only to find both the tramway and cafe was closed. Two very sad grandchildren, two embarrassed grandparents and mum and dad were less than impressed as well. In this day and age one can only suggest that it is amateurish at best. Never mind we will spend our money elsewhere and will avoid a return visit.

Worst service I have ever had. Took them 20 mins to take our first order, and the tables around us had the same, they waited for 15 mins to get a drink. We went for the bottomless brunch, it's a rip off. They didn't have the edamame and would not replace it. The brunch is only sushi then and you can only order 1 roll at a time, then they give you a timelimit. This place is not worth it at all. The main floor is nice but they put you on an upper floor that feels like a cheap sushi place.

6 of us: me, my wife, 2 sons and their wives. One person with a difficult food sensitivity. We talked with them the week before about the food sensitivity and they worked round it beautifully delivering a tasting menu of wonderful dishes beautifully presented and served by professional and friendly staff all working together.

Great atmosphere with live music in the garden and plenty of people enjoying the day. Bar staff were excellent.
