I always love coming here. The food is brilliant and the staff are lovely. Always feel welcome even when it's a takeaway.

Spent a fantastic evening here. Quick and friendly service. Real delicious food. The seafood marinara a particular highlight.

You should definitely come here!!! The food is amazing and of great quality. The service is incredibly charming and friendly. The price is worth it. We were here twice. It's best to book a table in advance because it's always busy and there isn't that much space. Be sure to try the steak, it's great. Also highly recommended as surf and turf. Great atmosphere, great food, great. Our first visit but it won't be our last

Went tonight (11.9.24). Food was delicious. Unfortunately once the manager left it went a bit down hill. Waiter coming through the restaurant with dirty mops. Don't know if he washed his hands or not afterwards. As we were eating all we could hear was the waitress putting metal crockery in a grey plastic tub...crash, crash, crash and on and on it went. Then she started talking to the waiter. Talk about a nice intimate evening. I wasn't best pleased and told then so. Then to add insult to injury my wife wanted to take her pizza home. Then the waiter put a dish on top of my plate when I hadn't finished! Grrr Food great but won't be going back.

Early on a Sunday afternoon, the food was just passable, had better service but what is not acceptable was that the state of the toilets they looked like it had been cleaned throughly in a long while ,makes you wonder what else the owners don't care about

Our first visit to Gigi’s, and whilst the staff were friendly, service good, food fairly tasty, pricing fair, we won’t be returning. It’s a small establishment, and they squeeze alot of people in, so you’re sat fairly close to another, so got knocked a few times by other diners as they were being seated or as they were leaving. The table was very small and felt cluttered. The atmosphere was incredibly noisy with everyone chatting at the same time, which we didn’t like as it made it difficult to hear each other at times. The worst part for us were the chairs - they are so uncomfortable to sit on for a prolonged period of time. The seats have a metal rim, which when seated, pressed into your legs which added to the discomfort. Sadly this was not the best dining experience for us!

I have walked past this place many times, and barely noticed it. It is very unassuming from the outside, but buzzing with people on the inside. The staff were attentive and the risotto I had was superb. My friend enjoyed her pizza too. Have already suggested to my partner that we should go there together so he could experience it too.

Came here on a recommendation for a birthday meal. It was lovely. Small place but made it feel more homely. Lovely food, service was super and well priced. I will be back!

If you want honest Italian food, with generous portions, you can’t go wrong with Gigi’s in Pudsey, Leeds. Family-run, this is a bouncing restaurant with friendly banter between the staff. Whether greeting a regular or someone going there for the first time, the proprietor is warm and welcoming. We ate there twice during our visit to Leeds, and each time the food was delicious. Service was speedy without being pushy. I recommend the lobster ravioli, and the gambaroni provenciale. Oh and the tartuffo!

Booked a table for 8 . Food really good all enjoyed . Ordered a cocktail pina colada , it was a Britvit bottle of pina colada £1 a bottle tasted like terrible pop . £8.50 was charged, definitely not a cocktail . Service fast and efficient pleasant staff . Gave a good tip didn't seem appreciated.

Wonderful staff. Warm family welcome. Fantastic food, nothing too much trouble. One of our party was gluten intolerant. Gluten free pizza made to order. Well priced for the high standard. Parking could be an issue, but the free car park is only 5 minutes away. Thanks Leo, another amazing night.

This was our first visit to Gigi’s. We had a warm welcome to this small Italian in Pudsey and chatted with the owner finding out about the family history of the restaurant. There is an extensive and interesting menu choice both for starters and mains as well as a specials board. Many were also available as gluten free. Our food was plentiful and delicious and after having both starters and mains unfortunately we didn’t have room for desserts, however they sounded lovely. We shared a bottle of wine too. Everything was reasonably priced and we would definitely visit again and recommend it to others.

Yes the staff are lovely 🥰 the food is amazing and the waiter gave me a high five also because it was my birthday 🎉 I was given a pudding with a candle and everyone sang happy birthday

Attended tonight as a group of 7 for my fiancés early 30th birthday celebration and we loved every second of it! We had 3 courses and everything all came out perfect and tasted delicious - normally with a big group you expect someone to be sat there waiting for their food whilst the rest of the party have their food but not at Gigi’s - everything came out all at once so nobody had to sit and wait! I had to have gluten free as I’m coeliac and this was catered to perfectly with the gluten free garlic mushrooms and Tropicana pizza which was a lovely soft base (something that us coeliacs are not used to - we normally get food tasting like cardboard!) We weren’t rushed out of the restaurant either once we had finished our food and drinks - we were left to chat as a group for over half an hour before we paid our bill and went home! There’s nothing worse than a restaurant that wants you out of the door as soon as you’ve finished your food so thank you for being such lovely hosts! Would definitely recommend and will be back to this quaint little gem of a restaurant!

Great food, but not good disability access due to stairs

An absolute pleasure. The food is top class and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. A big thanks to Leonardo who made sure everything went well for my Daughter Gericas Birthday. A great time had by all. I would recommend this restaurant as an excellent place to dine.

Although I've been here before , assisted with BY ADUK registered dog , as I am disabled and have narcolepsy, on the last visit , the food was OK, I booked for my friends birthday 13.02.2024.. I made the reservation..an hour later , I was called by the owner , and was refused my dog ..shocked at this , I pointed out that my dog under ADUK law , should be treated no differently than a guide dog , but was still refused ..although he kind of killed the momentum by now ..and I wouldn't of gone there , nor will I ever and will be going down the appropriate channels of compensation..rude and arrogant, didn't care even after I explained...birthday ruined ..thanks gigi ..nice to know that you think you can discriminate now days ..but you can't..

We were there for our 39 wedding anniversary. We ordered lasagna, penne arribiat and a tomato garlic bread. This is our 3 rd visit in recent months. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The tables are close together yes, there is no doubt about that. The wait staff are very friendly.. the quality of food is amazing. We ordered lasagna, penne arribiat and a tomato garlic bread. Myself and my partner moved to Pudsey back in 2022, and we are both big foodies, so were keen to find some good local spots. We discovered Gigis not long after, and now go regularly as it's that good! The food is really tasty and reasonably priced too, and the service is beyond fantastic, the team there are very friendly and attentive, and they really take the time to get to know you as well, which aids to the nice vibe there. I highly recommend a trip to Gigis, it's a Pudsey/ Leeds institution, and well worth the hype!

As a group of 7 we visited Gi Gi’s for my wife’s Birthday, a nice cosy bistro, freshly cooked food which arrived hot, all the food arrived together and nothing was missed off of the order… thank you, will definitely come again 👏🏻👏🏻

Was the worst food I’ve ever seen/eaten. I tried this place out of confidence due to suffering with my eating and now I understand why I have those problems!! We ordered meatballs, 2 bolognese pizzas and a portion of chips, SIMPLE ENOUGH! We got non cooked chips that look like they’ve been sat about (some were hard), the bolognese pizzas had hardly any sauce on, and NO CHEESE never mind a crust! The pizza wasn’t cooked properly, the full thing was stuck to the box and you couldn’t take it out because half the dough was stuck on it. I am appalled by the appearance of the food never mind the taste! I would not recommend and I will definitely avoid in the future!!

First time visit fantastic food we will be back

I came last night with friends for a quiet hen do. I've never been before. The restaurant has a really nice family feel to it. When we arrived round 8.15 it was busy (always a good sign) after a short wait we were seated. The staff were great. The food was fabulous. I can't wait to bring my future here. The owner came over and chatted to us. He was charming and kindly shared stories of his heritage. Told us about his family and about the restaurant. Thank you for a lovely evening xx

Tried for the first time,family birthday.Good food and lovely friendly staff.Only one downside because it is small place and was full it was very noisy and we were unable to talk properly between us.

Good was average. Witnessed the waiter getting out dried pasta out of a cupboard. I would have thought with it being a family run Italian it would have been fresh Zero baby hanging facilities. Got given a dirty changing mat and had to change me son on the hand basin. It looked like it was 20 years old We paid £4.40 for a lime and soda which I think is disgusting and a total rip off. Definitely wouldn't go back Overall a very disappointing experience

Spontaneous visit today with my family. Customer service from the point of enquiring with the restaurant if they had a spare table through to leaving after a wonderful meal and been thanked by the owner for our custom was superb. We had a selection of starters and main courses. Nice portions and the quality was outstanding. Extensive variety on the main menu and they had a special menu too. The atmosphere was very homely and friendly. Service thoroughout was very prompt and attentive. I would highly recommend a visit. We will definiately be back! What a fabulous little place this is! Friendly and cosy with amazing staff; namely Josh who managed 23 covers singlehandedly this lunchtime (including 2 parties of 8 and a birthday) and the service was still absolutely fantastic. Really personable chap with a great sense of humour and such a pleasant demeanour, we would return based on that alone. Pavel, the chef who cooked our meals, was also great both in the quality of the food and his personality, thanks again. Good quality food, very well cooked and the portions are great. We had starters, mains and dessert and the quality was equally good with each course! Very reasonably priced too and we're genuinely looking forward to going again. Can't recommend it highly enough!! Thanks Josh & Pavel, you made our visit a memorable one and the first of many!

GiGi's is by far my favourite restaurant, which is also locally run by Leo. Support your local businesses people! In the past decade+ that I have been going, their consistency with the highest quality of food and service has never once slipped. They are extremely accommodating with such authentic, wonderful food. They have a variety of options that can cater to everyone's requirements. The atmosphere is always buzzing, lively and inviting. For such a small place, GiGi's gives out so much enticing and great energy. I could not recommend this place enough. Fantastic food. I had the pancake starter and it was amazing. Then the marinara pizza which was packed with seafood. Can't recommend it too highly.

What wonderful place. We had a late lunch, the food was excellent it was a fast clean service and I was surprised how busy it was. I don't live locally and I'd never heard of it but I'm glad I do now. It was very good value for money so I will be taking along my hubby who isn't keen on Italian food but there was enough on the menu for a fussy eater.

Tiny Italian restaurant in Pudsey, but don't let its small size fool you. The quality of the food is better than my Sicilian mother's cooking. You'd think I'd be afraid to admit this, but no she will admit this herself and her lasagna is good. Gigi's food is to die for. Hell if it wasn't such good value I'd probably kill for it too. Best damn affogato you could ask for, and yeah it's not hard. Just put espresso over ice cream and you're done, right? Yeah. But like... it's GOOD espresso over GOOD ice cream.

Staff were nice and attentive and the atmosphere was good. The food could of been better, certain dishes like the calzone just lacked flavor. Probs wouldn’t come rushing back.

This is a small family restaurant, the food is absolutely spot on. Its not fancy, but sometimes you don't want fancy. Just great tasting food. Service was quick even when it was busy. You will never leave this restaurant hungry, restaurant portions are always ample. Glad to live near this!

Everything about Gigi's is amazing. From The moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave, the atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, the wine selection is fantastic and the food. Oh my god, the food is unbelievable! I have been to gigi's quite a few times and we have never been anything less then amazed, every time we go. So surprised by our visit. A small Italian restaurant in Pudsey but with some of the best Italian food we have eaten. (make sure to book in so you aren’t left disappointed) I cannot believe we have not visited before. The food couldn’t be faulted, the atmosphere gave a feeling of being anywhere in the world. My wife and I were treated to a meal etc by my youngest son as it was my 70th birthday. Although the premises are very small the service and food were exceptional, with a slight hiccup with a delay on my dish ( meatballs ). Other than that we all had a real good evening at Gigi's.

I have an illness which allows me 2g of salt per day. So I have to be careful with food that contains salt (which is ALL FOOD). However Gigi did me proud and for the first time, 5 years, the whole staff in the restaurant adhere to my requirement of, NO SALT. I was amazed how they cooked everything for me and even, reminded me of "some salt" in what I'd ordered. Thoroughly enjoyed my food and the service. I would highly recommend this fantastic restaurant, with its food and services 😋. Well done Gigi 👏. Thank you for making my birthday and special day. 😊

Cute little restaurant located in Pudsey, Leeds England. Have visited several times with my British boyfriend for date nights. Came all the way from Canada for their food. Good service, really good food. Highly recommend for any couples in the Pudsey area looking for a nice meal.
