Great service and good quality food, especially the pizza! Highly recommend

Quality food, delivered hot (quite rare for pizza!)

Steak burger very tasty and easily cut in half would do 2 adults. Would prefer no onions mixed in with steak to make burger.

A lovely place nearby the uni to enjoy tasty Italian food with a large portion, but decent price! Geni and Ini have always been helpful and hospitable! Love the chilling atmosphere. Usually, I would go at noon to enjoy a meal myself peacefully or go with friends at night to have fun and chat together🙌

The Salmon Pasta was really nice & so was the starters - Gamberone

The Margherita pizza wasn't a Margherita pizza. There was no fresh basil, just tomato base, cheese and dried "italian herbs" spice sprinkled over, Previously I ordered one with extra basil and was hoping the unaltered margherita wouldn't just be a cheese and tomato pizza, I was left disappointed by this. The Tortelloni was alright, arguably a bit salty, and the sauce had a bit too much peppercorn, and I usually love adding extra black pepper into my food.

Lovely meal at La Besi. No frills restaurant that serves delicious Italian food.

I am so disappointed unfortunately. The food was amazing but the restaurant was full of a massive group of students that unfortunately thought it was appropriate to be playing loud drinking games, pouring wine over each other and screening and shouting in a restaurant. This made our evening really unpleasant as we couldn’t even hear one another speak and many tables had to leave because of this one groups behaviour. It’s just a shame that this group weren’t asked to be quiet or leave as it really ruined our special evening.

It was was nice but wasn’t worth the price for the lasagne was bland

A nice place to have meal at near Hyde park . I visited this restaurant this evening and the experience was really good. The environment is very clean and the staff was friendly. I order prawn linguini and that was delicious, the prawns were fresh and tender and the linguini was well cooked and flavored. The price was also quite reasonable. Would visit for another time.

Was a little late contacted the nice people that work there and was reassured it was not going to be long and it arrived literally 2 minutes later as for the food as always delicious and tasty and well worth the wait will definitely be ordering again.

Food set off from the restaurant and took 35 mins to deliver. It was cold by the time it arrived! Would not go back here!!!

Yep really enjoyed the food - the Penne alla Pollo pasta & Chef's Pasta are great. I add broccoli to the pasta's & sometimes courgettes and the such. Can recommend. Food came really hot too which was great.

We got unlucky on the night and we were sat next to 12 chatty uni students and a crying baby behind us. As we were in the main room it was quite boxy and the sound levels were just to much unfortunately I understand this does not happen often

Excellent experience at La Besi! My friends and I had pasta and garlic bread, the food was great with generous portion sizes and really well priced. BYOB is an added bonus. The waiters were also super friendly, will definitely be going back here x

The food was good and tasty, but the taste of risotto was far away from Italy.

Prawn gamborone starter was stone cold, we ordered bread with it. Politely told waiter it was cold. He brought back another gamborone with 2 prawns in it and no bread, it was reheated and had loads of spice dded to it second time round.. accidental? 😐 Then kept ignoring us. Main was bang average and rude AF customer service not in a rush to come back. Has serious potential but sort it out.

Made a booking, recieved an email saying my booking was confirmed, got to restaurant, it was closed. Nothing on website about a closure. Really quite disappointing.

Ordered from here quite a few times and always been lovely. However the latest time I ordered it was awful. The lasagne was about 3 small sheets of pasta hidden beneath loaadddsss of tomato sauce. The sauce tastes like it was just Heinz tomato soup, it really wasn’t pleasant. The carbonara hardly had any bacon in it, and the bits that were there were like hand chopped bits of thin bacon. Really disappointing. Would possibly order again as may have been a one off that it wasn’t nice (after having lots of previous good experiences) but if it was like this again I wouldn’t go back

Had beautifully made tagliatelle carbornara and garlic King prawn starter. Subtly made cheese and very tasty. I took my time. Excellent service.

Wow, beautiful food! I haven’t ordered from here for about 7 years as moved out of the area, and it’s just as banging as it was, if not better. Everything was spot on and absolutely delicious :)

Myself and my daughter were looking for somewhere to eat before a gig at The Stylus and La Besi looked welcoming enough. Our waiter was very pleasant and the food was surprisingly good and decent value. The restaurant could do with a spruce up but it has some charm.

Baby mozzarella was very slightly undercooked but it's the only time food has arrived anything less than perfect! Delivered a few minutes early and food was hot and tasted great (even despite the previous comment). Big portions so enough for left overs tomorrow 🤌🏻

We booked La Besi for a meal of 5 after our son's graduation. It turned out to be the perfect place for us. The food was superb, everyone was pleased with their choice. Service was excellent, all five dishes for each course was served at the same time and good and hot. We had a great night, thank you La Besi!!!

I've travelled all over and spent a lot of time in Italy. I have to say it is hands down the one of, if not the freshest and most authentic Italian restaurants I've found outside of Italy. The pizzas have a delicious sauce, with the right quantity of toppings and proper bases. I tell everyone I know who craves genuine Italian cuisine about La Besi.

Gorgeous Italian Food/Takeaway! Me and my partner have been ordering pasta dishes from La Bessie for over 2 years. I can’t fault the pasta dishes whatsoever! We’ve travelled to Italy many times and La Bessie’s dishes are spot on 🤌🏼 🇮🇹 it’s so good to Italian pasta in the city of Leeds. We 100% recommend the spaghetti alla carbonara, salmon fettuccine and the fettuccine san marco 🥩.

Both the pizza and the garlic pizza were damaged in the box and looked awful. The pizza was inedible due to this and the spices used were far too strong. Had to order a pizza elsewhere.

the pizza we ordered was delicious (I haven't had such a good pizza for a long time), the dough was perfectly crispy and the ingredients were very fresh. I definitely recommend! :)

I order from here far more often than I'd like to admit. The food is amazing (full restaurant quality), they're always a little early and the delivery drivers are lovely (I've experienced rude drivers from other places). You won't be disappointed.

The pasta portions were generous and it tasted fresh and healthy. It was underseasoned though so on the bland side. It also said the linguine bolognese came with parmesan but there wasn't any on.

Went here for lunch and the lunch offer is great. The pizza is freshly made and Italian style on point. Tasty, maybe a bit much on the cheese. The ambience is rather functional though, more diner than restaurant which for lunch is great but does not appeal for dinner.
