Food was so good. We eat all of what we ordered. The staff helped me to avoid any food that could be contaminated with pork professionally.

Don't even think about going here, unless you want very expensive and mediocre food. Abysmal choice for coeliacs (myself) small portions, all sides are extra, drinks are expensive and the Rose' wine was either poor quality or 'diluted'. There were eight of us in a party to mark our granddaughter's graduation ceremony. Other than us the place was empty - perhaps everyone else knew what we didn't - the owner should be called 'Senior' Dick Turpin' we eat Italian food when holidaying in Italy, and have a genuine Italian restaurant in our home town, so we do have some experience of genuine Italian food.

Genuinely think the front of house couldn’t have given a better service. Very kind to be able to take special request for seating for 6 people on a booking made for on the same day for 6pm. Very patient and didn’t feel like we were being rushed to finish and leave the table despite it getting busier and busier. Really great service and super accommodating. Food was also awesome but leaving the review for high standards of hospitality and friendliness and professionalism!

My Sistee had the Ministrone soup & I had the starter Frittamisto. My sister had a pasta dish & I had the Rideye steak. I ordered 2 side dishes of roast potatoes & peas done with bacon & onion. For dessert my sister had the chocolate type volcano & I had the raspberry meringue . All the food was delicious although a little expensive. My bill was £74.50 & my Sisters around £55 & we both had 1 Malibu & Coke each. I would rather pay extra for good quality food than cheaper food which isn’t very good

Great Italian Food on Harrogate Road If you're looking for an exceptional Italian dining experience, this restaurant on Harrogate Road comes highly recommended. Ambience and Service Arriving around 7 PM, we were promptly seated. The restaurant boasts exquisite decor and a welcoming ambience. From the moment we walked in until we left, the service was flawless. Starters We began with three starters: Tempura Prawns, Avocado Crab Tian, and Gamberoni Marechiaro. Each dish was perfect. The Gamberoni sauce was beautifully seasoned, the tempura batter was just right, and the Crab Tian was well balanced and seasoned. **Main Courses:** For the main course, we ordered the Fish Feast Platter for one (which could easily serve 1.5 people), Carbonara, and Linguine Pescatore. All three dishes were beautifully prepared and delicious. Value Although the restaurant is on the expensive side, the quality of food and overall dining experience make it well worth the price. Recommendation I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy top-notch Italian cuisine

The ministrone soup was odd water with floating veg including broccoli. The mains were poorly cooked with stodgy pizza base.. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere despite being half empty. Sadly the quality of the food means we will never go back

Went on a weekday evening without booking. The meal was fine, but not exceptional, and when you compare it to other Italian restaurants, overpriced for the quality. House wine over a tenner for 250ml glass, decent Linguine alla Carbonara £17, nice Zucchini Fritti £5. Good but not great, Cena in Guiseley does it better for less.

Rang up, asked to book, the guy was incredibly rude said they were booked then just hung up, incredibly rude, wouldn’t bother ever going

It’s a lovely restaurant . Food and kitchen team was brilliant , they greeted me when I walked in even though they were in the kitchen which was nice. Our waiter was nice , but after serving the main courses they didn’t check , that was probably having the rush at 7:00pm. Other than that it was lovely . Value was reasonable . We will come again. Food was ok but has a long way to go to rival Buon Apps in Otley or Picolo at Picolina in the Springs. I was disappointed with the choice of beers. Why no Ichnusa or other non filtrata beers?

Love freshly cooked to order seafood, ordered the GRAN FRITTO DI PESCE CON ZUCCHINE starter - £16 (Deep fried calamari, prawns, scallops with zucchini and tartar sauce) the only thing done well was the halfed scallops. Calamari tough with batter falling off, tiny prawns, presentation good though. Mains of Resotto frutti di mare - £18 overcooked grilled Tiger prawns, mussels tough and withered before placing back into shells, Calamari ditto to starter. Couldn't taste the chilli. Mentioned to waiter, nothing done about it. Cook much better at home. Hard to hear conversation across the table due to high noise levels. Churning out fast food, fancy prices, might be OK for a Pizza and a fashionable place to be seen but expect higher standards on a £241 bill for four of us.

Very disappointed with the food. We spent 5 weeks in Italy including Sicily last year so I suppose our expectations were high. The arancini lacked flavour and was tiny compared to the ones we had in Sicily, the porcini mushrooms in the pasta were probably frozen - their texture was soggy and lacked the lovely porcini flavour of fresh/dried ones. There was a lot of boring tomato sauce on the pasta, the ravioli could have been from the supermarket again drowned in tomato sauce. The goats cheese salad was the best thing we ordered - really tasty. The service was excellent and the Atmosphere was great.

I am a regular at Amici and the food and staff never disappoint.The standard is consistently high and nothing is too much trouble. The tomato garlic bread is a family favourite and we always know we are in for a treat when we come to Amici. Thank you for putting aubergine parmigiana on the Special's menu,it was worth the wait! Came here tonight for Valentine’s Day and we both loved it! The food was beautiful, the service fantastic and the atmosphere exactly what we like. The seafood risotto and lasagna were absolutely gorgeous. We will definitely be back, a real gem of a place!

Called in for lunch and had two pasta dishes and two cokes which came to £45 My daughter had been previously with an office outing with her 3 year old daughter & observed her daughter’s dish at the time seemed bigger than my main dish. I had the Cavatelli which was highly average and seemed more starter size than main course size so not impressed. Was initially looking forward to a genuine Italian meal but won’t be returning any time soon.

Absolutely Amazing! This is truly a hidden gem tucked away in North Leeds. The food was divine, perfectly made, the service was brilliant. The atmosphere was amazing. We were served by Darren, who is an asset to the establishment. Very cheerful, he truly embodied "service with a smile". I thoroughly recommend this resturant!

To have a birthday booking, confirm your attendance and be turned away with a cake in hand and told to go elsewhere all because they decided they now wanted an early finish? Fair to say I will NOT be back. There was no courtesy, customer service or hospitality whatsoever. Never again.

It didn't live up to my expectations. Only a couple of tables were occupied when we were dining, and I felt like the staff was constantly watching me, so it made me uncomfortable. The food was quite mediocre for an Italian restaurant, the goat's chese salad barely had any green leaves so the balance was lost, the fillet was not very tender and the side fries had a funny tastel from the oil they have been fried in. The mushroom risotto was nice, though.

Me and my family on friday 28th july visited Amici for an evening together, really great and friendly service and yummy food very recommended. I personally ordered a duck brest with a potato purè and my family a beautiful see food risotto a chicken salad and a personalized capricciosa pizza all absolutely gorgeous 😍

Great atmosphere and even greater food. Delicious options on the menu, we tried all the meat ones, and they were at the exact point of cooking. The desserts are delicious with special mention for the ice cream. The staff was super punctual coming at the right time. All in all, 5 stars!

Have been here several times before and really enjoyed it. Last nights meal was remarkably underwhelming. Calamari in the starter was chewy, the batter tasteless. The margarita pizza, the staple of any Italian restaurant was flat, lifeless and overcooked. The white wine was ok but was served without a wine cooler so had to ask for one. Overall we enjoyed the experience due to the people we were however the food was very average.

A lovely environment but unfortunately my steak arrived cold and undercooked. Slightly disappointed as this was an expensive meal but might come back again.

Nice modern restaurant came with mom best 78 bands, drinks where asked to quickly after sitting down but service was friendly and professional. Views are onto a parking lot. The chairs were sturdy no wobbly tables and atmosphere was relaxed and not busy. The starter was shared amongst me and my date we had the bruschetta, which was a selection of bruschetta with the original tomatoes and pesto, another one with a warm cheese and bacon bits, which was unorthodox, but delicious, and another one was also with pesto. The house one was on the sweeter side but came cold and was okay for the price for means I had the lasagna Romagna, which came out still Bubbly and hot, but looking at details. The plate was spinning on the table as in it was not fully resting so you would have to spin it or hold the plate down to get a spoon or fork full. My mother said the risotto was good but she’s from Tuscany but she found it good for the price. another small detail would be in the bathroom. The toilet flushing equipment was protruding was not stuck to the wall some screws had fallen. It was swivelling. Otherwise, the experience was good, but could be made better by minor improvements.

The food was of exceptional quality, service was great and the atmosphere was buzzing. Being a valentines day service, it was very busy, but managed exceptionally well. The food was served efficiently and was still very hot when it reached the table. Would definitely recommend!

I travel the world a lot and though this restaurant is very good, in my experience it's priced a bit above it's real position However, highly recommended

Needed lunch after our Emmerdale tour, I went on TripAdvisor for nearby options, Amici came up as a nearby option, about 4 miles, seemed like good reviews so we went. Very pleased we did, food was lovely, service was fab, friendly and quick and staff so helpful and nice, would definitely come again if I was in the area.

First time there, Pizza was first class, Pasta Arrabiata perfect. Dessert was yummy also. Sorry, evidence was eaten before any photos were/ could be taken.

The vegetarian selection is seriously lacking- especially given its location. Even if you're pescatarian your options aren't great. The menu is clearly designed by a meat lover, as the few vegetarian and fish dishes on offer are for the most part, standard and uninteresting which doesn't reflect the prices charged for them. The food is well cooked for the most part, and the service is good, but the experience overall lacks the wow factor that you'd expect from a restaurant at that price point. It's okay and I'd go back if somebody wanted to, but I wouldn't rush back myself. The menu really needs reviewing in terms of none meat options because its genuinely disappointing. I'd probably fork out an extra couple of pounds a head and go to San Carlos- there's more options and the food and dining experience is better.

I ordered seafood linguine. I forgot to check if all the seafood was shelled. It was not so I asked (politely) if the restaurant could shell it for me (so messy otherwise). They said ‘no’ as the chefs were “too busy”. How strange that the chefs are too busy to help their customers.

Been here on more than one occasion. The atmosphere is good, proper traditional restaurant with Waiters who want to be there and really care. Food is excellent.

As our local restaurant I have always been too lazy to review! However tonight was excellent- usual warm greetings from all the staff -great bustle for a Tuesday Asked waiter for pasta fagioli soup( not on tonight’s menu)- he said not available- but chef sorted me out- what a man!😀( it was superb) wife had a generous bruschetta ( enjoyed) and we both had the salmon ( unbelievable sized portion( great taste and great value)plus zucchini, peas and very full side salad Gooseberry and Apple treacle crumb tart ( of course- yummy) to share plus cappuccino s to finish Can’t be bettered in north leeds!

Friendly welcome, perfectly timed attention, food was superb, although the alcohol in the Tiramisu could have been stronger. It was extremely noisy, couldn't hear each other speak, so was glad to get out to go home. But would go again for the food and service.

Always friendly with good food.

Pricey but food is excellent and the staff are very friendly. Far better than a run of the mill italian so would recommend for a special occasion.
