We visit on a regular basis and certainly on the Tribute nights and have become friends with the owners and staff. Yesterday we were out in Leeds with family and then met up with family in Yeadon We ordered a takeaway from il Piacere and all we can say is WOW Hot, tasty and very generous sizes We certainly recommend you try the takeaway menu if you feel peckish whilst enjoying a film - you won't be disappointed!!

Absolutely love this place. The staff are very friendly, food really tasty and prices are very reasonable. My personal favourite is the linguine frutti de mare and I order it everytime. Definitely recommend this place and love that it’s local to us.

Had a lovely evening with friends here. On a warm day, we found the restaurant spacious and the staff friendly. There's a good range of Italian staples with a couple of specials. Expect to pay £10-£13 for pasta, more for meat and fish. The only disappointment was as an Italian restaurant there was no evidence of an Aperol Spritz but I'm sure that can be rectified!

Really happy with our first take out from here. Great burger and fries huge portions. I had a BBQ burger but I fancy the cheese burger for next time as it looks great . Can’t help but be impressed for the money We will be trying more things in the future Keep up the good work 👌

Went to Il Piacere on Sunday for a 21st Birthday, It was also Mother’s Day.. the restaurant was quite busy and we were a party of 12. The whole evening was faultless, the service amazing, the food fantastic.. Even though it was busy the timings were perfect, everyone enjoyed their chosen dishes.. The quality of food is on a par with City centre restaurants but such better value and cooked perfectly. The staff were all so friendly and efficient. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Il Piacere. Will definitely be back.

Great Meal last time we came and coming again Saturday

Menu had a good choice on the 3 courses for £28. Good portions, well presented and tasty. Entertainment was on this evening , a singer who was very good and a great atmosphere. Staff were friendly and efficient. We had a great evening. Would recommend.

Attended today for Christmas dinner. Unsure of what 'meat' we were served but it was not turkey. Veg was not cooked properly and had clearly been microwaved. Yorkshire pudding was not home made and was made from frozen. Will definitely not be returning here again!!

Went on a Sunday evening only people there, food was lovely well presented and taste. Good selection of food on main menu or they do a 2/3 course set price with a lot of choices worth the money .

Ordered a pizza, bruschetta and the antipasti as we had heard good reviews. When it arrived, pizza was very greasy, the bruschetta was 2 small pieces of toasted baguette or something with some cut cherry tomatoes on top, very underwhelming and the anti pasti looked like it was taken out of a packet and put in a box. Overall a lot of money spent on very little food that wasn’t even that nice. Maybe eating in the restaurant would have been better than getting a take out but it’s put us off

Looking for calm giving atmosphere? Staff that are beyond friendly? A place to chill and relax whilst having a good time, this is the place. I am really surprised by the negative reviews so far. I appreciate that we all have different experiences and expectations, but we have visited on a number of occasions recently, and this restaurant has consistently provided excellent food, service, and value for money. The last time we visited we both had the bruschetta. My husband had the bruschetta trio from the specials board £7.95 - featuring a prawn, a tomato and a smoked salmon bruschetta. All were beautifully prepared and very tasty. I had the classic tomato bruschetta, which was two large pieces of toasted bread, garlic, balsamic and lovely fresh sweet tomatoes. This was served with a small crisp side salad and was one of the best I have ever tasted. For the mains, my husband opted for the salmon, prawns and sauté potatoes. There was also the option to have chips or a side salad. My husband said that it was perfectly cooked and that he couldn’t fault the dish. I had a vegetarian pasta, which was fresh and tasty, and again, one of the best around. It is also worth mentioning that this is one of the few restaurants that still offer complimentary bread and olives and a limoncello shot at the end of the meal. The bill came to £54 and also included 3 pints of draught Moretti. The staff were excellent, friendly, and attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. There is plenty of choice on the menu, and there is also a great fixed priced menu which features 2 courses for £16.50. For us, this restaurant is by far one of the best around and we will definitely be back.

This is the forth time we have been here this year. Unfortunately it is getting worse. My starter of prawns was adequate. However my main couurse from the special board was poorly presented and small. We ordered some white wine. We were not given the opportunity to taste it. It was pretty bad and had a nasty after taste. We decided to order a chardonnay but again we were not given the opportunity to taste it. This turned out to be as bad as the first bottle. No offer of compensation was proposed. My dining companion had risotto for the main course. This was well over cooked and was just a gooey mess. I suspect that this had been cooked earlier in the day. A risotto only take 12 to 15 minutes so why pre-cook it? All in all a poor experience. To entice us to come again the service and the food would have to be considerable improved.

Wow!!!! This place could be in London!! Food is outstanding!!! A little gem of a place!!! Just wow !!

Arrived on spec and we were seated outside. Two young girls waiting on tables were attentive and very pleasant. Skipped starters and ordered mains of Pasta and Pizza and children’s meals. Meals arrived swiftly and portion size, particularly pasta was lacking. These were full priced mains, not on a set menu. The Linguine Frutti Di Mare was poor and had several cracked mussels, resulting in mouthfuls of shells. The mussels themselves were overcooked and by the looks of them, not fresh. The Arrabiata although tasty, was a starter or children’s size. Pizzas were average at best. Children’s drinks, included in the meal were not served. We only realised after we left. We had to ask for ketchup twice and were given a bottle of own brand budget supermarket. I have given an atmosphere of 1 star. This is because while we were seated a full sized refuse lorry reversed to within touching distance from the outside balcony and emptied the contents of an industrial bin. The smell was overwhelming. Whilst the premises may not have control of the timing, it’s simply not on to seat paying guests to be exposed to rancid smells of waste while dining. Not recommended my advice is avoid.

It was my first visit here this evening, I had read the reviews and thought I would give it a try for our anniversary. On arrival a lovely young lady showed us to our table, bread and olives were brought complimentary, drinks orders taken. Left to browse a very good menu, we both chose garlic mushrooms, excellent. I then ordered the sirloin steak with peppercorn sauce and roasted potatoes, my wife ordered the salmon and prawns, one word WOW. The steak was massive cooked to perfection, the salmon also a generous portion and I must say we both commented how great the roast potatoes were. Probably the best steak I have had in years. Not a chance of a pudding after that. Thank you for making our 1st anniversary a memorable one, amazing value, staff excellent, we will be back. One of the best meals I have had in years.

My husband and I always go to Il Piacere the last Wednesday of every month for the entertainment night. 3 course meal and tribute singer £28.00 - value for money 💰 We're even going Christmas Day 🎄 for the second year running as it was so good. There is also an extensive a la carte menu as well as a set menu plus Thursday is Steak night. Plenty to choose from!!!

On Saturday night 10 adults and3 children visited the restaurant for my mums 90th birthday. Cannot fault anything with the food or staff they made my mums 90th so special . Thank you.

Ordered a takeaway a few days ago - very disappointing. Used to order food from here all the time during lockdown but it’s gone down hill. The Mozzerella de corroza was terrible. The recipe was changed and the breadcrumbs are now quite soggy and bland. When eating it I also got a god awful taste that resembled mould. My sister added a review to complain but it was deleted.

Didn't enjoy,had meatballs and they were bland. Some in our group enjoyed there meal. They started resetting the table before we'd left. Wouldn't go back.

We had our final family meal together here last night before my brother went back to Canada, it was amazing, the food was superb the staff were amazing and there was a lovely atmosphere. We will be back very soon. Just wish we hadn't forgotten our phones so we could have taken photos, oh well we will just have to go back for another meal to get some and share. 😄. Updated. 26/11/21 So back again and photos to share, another amazing night and food. We had a great night as a Graduation meal due to not being able to make it to the formal one. Il piacere made up for it for us.

This is a wonderful restaurant, the location, the ambiance, the staff are all outstanding. The food and wine are exceptional.

We visited with friends for an early evening meal. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and the special menu offers explained, we were given rolls and olives while we perused the menu. We had a variety of starters followed by pasta and chicken dishes all of which were timely served and deliciously flavoured. Overall, the service, quality and cost of the meal was excellent value and we look forward to returning in the near future.

Visited here twice in the last week. The food and service was excellent and at the right price. My wife and her sister loved the cocktails they had. We will definitely be visiting again when we visit Yeadon, my wife sister and her partner are regular customers.

We tried this place early on sat evening and wow,our food was superb as was the wine,at around 6.30 the place was buzzing with people creating a great atmosphere,our waiter George was attentive and a real credit to the restaurant, we will be back soon thankyou.

Good hospatalatey bubbly friendly service and pizza is original stone based pepperoni pizza good crunch and lovely flavour highly recommend.

Amazing food. During COVID whilst open, staff were very safe and there was plenty of sanitiser on every table. The takeaways are just as good as the restaurant standards! Great portions, quick delivery and such amazing food! Cant recommend them enough and a very valuable local restaurant which I hope survives during these times, would be a real shame to lose.

In the end very disappointing. We were there to celebrate our birthdays albeit late, and our first impressions were good. Decent seating ang good decor. A reasonable selection of food and wine with a specials' board to select from. My starter was fine (King prawns in a spicy sauce) and my friend had Calamari, which I would say looked as if it could have been deep fried longer as the batter was white. The house Merlot was ok but on reflection, in may have been worth paying extra for the Merlot on the main menu. Sadly, things went downhill from there. I asked for a 5/10 minute break before the mains which ended up being at least 20 minutes which meant that the meal was warm rather than piping hot. My friend asked for Chips and not french fries, which is what was brought to the table. I had the roast potatoes which, with the best will in the world, were boiled potatoes maybe "splashed with oil. The common theme seams to be that anything fried is not done long enough We both said to each other we would never return, especially when the bill for two courses and wine was £64.30. On refection, If I returned and had a more traditional Italian main course, I may feel better but, especially in these times, the restaurant needs to take on board my critique which I have published in an effort to be supportive for the future.
