Simply excellent authentic Italian cooking. Just returned from this lovely small Italian restaurant. Very friendly welcome and service. Lovely to chat to the owners whilst enjoying superb Italian food. Authentic recipes beautifully cooked. I started with the Puttanesca which was delicious and the spaghetti perfectly cooked al dente. My friend had Zucchini Fritte again perfectly cooked with a light crispy batter. Main courses of Tagliata Di Pollo and Pappardelle with Salmon were also excellent. Will be back soon!

Really lovely family meal out. Friendly, chilled out little gem of a restaurant. My 13 year old son loved the calamari and the meatball panini. My Husband said the mushroom bruschetta and lamb chops were the best he's tasted and I had a gorgeous spaghetti with olives, capers and anchovis with a very good glass of house red. Would really recommend. Also the staff are lovely and they welcomed us as soon as we entered the restaurant, pure Italian food and vibes.

Went for a family meal, this place is a hidden gem, would definitely recommend. The food was so fresh and of such good quality and the atmosphere was very inviting and warming. The food in this small friendly restaurant tucked away in Otley is second to none. Lovely people, absolutely amazing food, even our friend who was a chef was extremely impressed. You need to book really, but you won't be disappointed.

Highly recommend this cosy little Italian restaurant. The staff were super friendly and lovely. The food was delicious, everything was fresh and felt that the chef made the meals with great care. Our little girl made a little dance after every bite of the mozzarella.

We have been to this friendly little restaurant a few times now, and we are never disappointed. Eight of us dined here last night. There was not one complaint from any of us! Service is always exceptional, and food is so tasty and fresh. Prices for the food and the drinks are very, very reasonable. See you again soon, Il Vicoletti!!

A first time visit for a quick lunch, popped in by chance. What a find! Small, but perfectly formed. Friendly staff, good prices. We had the cannelloni and the puttanesca, very authentic Italian cooking. I'll be taking my husband for dinner asap :)

Made me cry, as they were so clear that as a person with a hidden disability I was not welcome. I didn't even get to sit down. Humiliating, offensive and discriminatory.

Despite not having a booking on a Saturday evening we were welcomed and given a table. It’s a small, cosy venue. The food was amazing- I love Italian food and this was the best I’ve had. The couple who run the place are amazing hosts. I will definitely be visiting again.

I had the gluten free pizza and it was incredible. I couldn't tell it was gluten free. Will definitely be coming here again!

A little wait for the food but the lady serving was very attentive and the food was fabulous when it arrived. Only had pizza but felt truly authentic. Only take cash and bank transfer but prices very reasonable for a totally quality product. Lovely little find.

This is a special little Italian, tucked away on mercury row. Very friendly staff who couldn’t be more helpful from booking to service. They even provided a cushion to help my wife’s bad back. The food was authentic and amazing. Every dish was freshly prepared and super tasty. It’s a real gem of a restaurant and we will return.

This small restaurant tucked down Mercury Row in Otley is a delight. We sat outside and enjoyed our meal Al fresco because we are still Covid sensitive.The welcoming and attentive staff wore masks even when serving us outside.We both had a gorgeous tomato and mozzarella starter followed by Spaghetti Putenesca and Spaghetti with vegetables and cream. The food arrives and the gorgeous smell tells you you're in for a treat.Freshly prepared, with herbs and seasoning that transforms simple food to something really, really special and at really good prices.All in all, a wonderful early evening meal( around 5pm). Very highly recommended. November in Yorkshire and we were transported to Italy.

I had the best spaghetti Bolognese in my life here recently as a take-away. I am 64 and have a masters degree.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Authentic, reasonably priced and high standard of delicious food. Lovely intimate atmosphere and large upstairs area too if you were wanting a meal/party with friends. Delicious! Nice music too , lovely authentic dishes on the menu. My husband had the octopus and he thought it was the nicest meal hes had in otley! I had chicken and green bean terrine for starter and a beef, parmesan and rocket salad which was delicious! Tiramisu delicious and we even tried a neapolitan speciality on the house ..espresso with sambuca..it was authentic and delicious. We were tempted in by the lovely cooking aromas. I had a delicious spaghetti puttanesca and the other half loved his lasagna. A simply furnished Italian restaurant serving authentic food. The espresso was perfect as well. Cash payment requested. Pleasant and efficient service. We will come back for sure.

We went on Christmas Eve. It’s a cosy, small restaurant and the service was friendly. Two problems though: red wine should be served at room temperature, not cold. Bringing a warm glass doesn’t resolve the problem. The carbonara was bad. The egg had set so it was basically scrambled egg with some pasta and bacon. Trying to defend this - as the chef tried to do in a quite belligerent way - is not a good look for any serious restaurant. Eggs don’t have to be ‘overcooked’ in carbonara for ‘health’ or any other reason. Rest of the food was ok although the garlic bread was dry. Carbonara was eventually taken off the bill which was nice. So probably ok if you drink white wine and avoid the carbonara and the garlic bread.

Carbonara was just scrambled eggs and ham on spaghetti, not velvety sauce, no crispiness to the meat. Unsure if we just had a bad experience but hopefully this isn't standard.
