The best restaurants in England

This is our third time here we just love it. The food is absolutely delicious the ambience is cosy, lovely spots for families and friends. Absolutely recommend. Out waiter Volkan was excellent and very professional.

Fresh good quality food, service was great. Server was friendly. Very reasonable price for the amount of food you get. Would definitely go again.

Lovely interior and roadside appeal and polite staff Good choice of menu for most We enjoyed our sandwiches and the chips also the lemon drizzle but the ‘coffee & walnut ‘ cake was seriously lacking the coffee ??? Could hardly taste anything in all honesty Disappointed in that

Very good food, excellent customer service. Authentic italian food, whilst having a small cosy family run feeling.

We have eaten here many times, but have just very sadly read, that Taste has closed permanently at the end of April. We wish you all the best with whatever path you take in the future x

I Would definitely recommend coming eating here, the staff are so friendly and food was lovely and tasty. The cocktails were very nice also

Enjoyed a family meal, 4 people plus baby. Limited seats create intimate dining area. Friendly staff. Varied menu. Was able to cater for a GF meal. Also ordered to take away. Meal plus drinks for 4 cost about £50, very reasonable for area!

I treated my friend for her birthday to tea here. Absolutely amazing, delicious home made cakes, scones and sandwiches. The atmosphere is really warm and welcoming and well worth a return visit.

The food and service from Justin and Julia are fantastic. They are consistently brilliant. The food is warm and hearty and although the menu is extensive, each meal is of the same quality as the next. Last night we ate the Mediterranean carrots, mushrooms in Stilton, fantastic fish pie (Julia’s nan’s recipe), massive lamb chops and pork fillet and they were all beautiful. Try your best to leave room for dessert but if you don’t have room, order one anyway… You’ll want it once it’s there.

One of the worst restaurants I ever been 1 food salty 2 owner is a real tool bad manner 3 customer service poor 4 waiting time poor Owner seriously think his food is the best in the country and has no people skills. Yet we left most of the food n the plate !! Never again.

Went to Weavers Cottage today with my family to have a late celebration for my birthday. I had a high tea which was lovely and my family had other various items off the menu. All the food was lovely and beautifully served. The gentleman who was serving was very helpful and efficient and it was service with a smile. We are local to Torquay but it was our first time visiting Weavers cottage but it won’t be our last. Lovely outdoor setting that is covered with heaters and we even had a visit from a little robin on the back of one of our chairs. Lovely little lunch stop.

We came has a family of 5 for afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday The food was amazing plenty of choice staff were very attentive and friendly the place is lovely would highly recommend

A great choice of breakfast, it was great value and really good quality. Highly recommend and will be returning. Poached eggs perfectly cooked too!
