Came in on a Friday at 21:22 and was told that they’ll be losing soon, so can’t accommodate a table. Hence, I’d rather suggest closing time as 21:00.

As a French person living in the UK, finding a bakery that does French bread and pastries is just the best. I go anytime I can and I admit I have missed it since I moved out of Malvern!

Nice venue (if it's not raining) cakes expensive (£3.50), scones no cream & no carrot cake. But service quick & efficient. Nicely kept lake/pond & nice view.

I have been coming to this place for over two years now, I like the warm welcome and I tried most of the French and Caribbean menu. I am not a great eater but must say that all of the dishes are my favourites!

Outstanding pastries, excellent staff, lovely environment. Wouldn’t highly recommend a visit, you will love it - reasonably priced too.

Every dish and every mouthful was a joy. Relaxed yet attentive and very knowledgeable service where every dish was explained when presented. A stroll around the garden before our lunchtime feast was also very enjoyable (although not much to see in the kitchen garden at this time of the year). Highly recommend; yes: it is an expensive treat, but a memorable one!

probably not, perhaps not even the best menu we had at our trip to London, but it was damn close and a worth entrance to the three star universe…. The quality of the food (the only dish we found a little bit disappointing was the sweatbread, which could have been a little bit more crispier) especially the sauces were overwhelming (thanks god, they give you a spoon with every dish), impeccable service and a wine list which might be one of the longest I have ever seen (and also one of the most exclusive and expensive one) everything is perfect! And despite this perfect professionality the atmosphere at Core is very relaxed and you feel right at home Will I go there again? Definitely, but it will need some time to save some money …..

Visited in the evening with two friends on a ‘reunion trip’ to Newcastle. Two of us studied French, so very appropriate! It’s a fantastic place….decor is modern rustic, cosy and French themed. The service was fantastic. Staff are knowledgeable, very friendly and accommodating so it was a relaxing experience. The food is superb! We had a sharing board of French charcuterie to start, followed by Confit de Canard for two of us - one of the best confit duck legs I have eaten - and Crevettes Pil Pil for the third which was full of flavour. We shared a bottle of Picpoul de Pinet which was perfect. It was a great find and a hugely enjoyable experience. Wish I lived closer as I would visit again very soon!

The food was top-notch—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish we tried was well-prepared and beautifully presented💕. I can tell they prioritize quality, and it really shows 🫶🏻. The taste of dishes went to peak of the level. I just loved it😍🤤😋. I highly recommend Restaurant 27 to have an awesome day with tastiest dishes.
