Bengal Brasserie in Leeds

This was our first visit for over a year and first signs were good with a very busy restaurant on a Wednesday evening. Food and service were excellent! We shared the combo starter between 3 of us and this was definitely sufficient. It arrived sizzling with a delicious selection of pakoras , bhajis and lamb chops. We then shared a Bombay aloo , a gorgeous lamb and spinach balti and a wonderful chicken dish (can’t remember the name ) which contained pieces of peppers and onion. We will definitely be back soon!

Shak and his team are always very welcoming and friendly.. Food is always amazing. I would be as bold as too say best curry house in leeds.....

1st time visiting this location all I can say it was excellent. Extremely busy however could not fault anything at all. All staff excellent and the food was very very good.

Noisy, chaotic, haphazard service. Got the impression they were overstretched doing just eat order in the kitchen… foods ok. It’s probably better as a takeaway now, sadly.

We had chicken jalfrazi, and mild tika, galic nan with popperdoms we have tried all their dishes on menu and what outstandng dishes we have had we have had many currys from diffrent places but this place is our number 1 curry house and have been using this place for good few years in and takeout and delivery service is quick and also friendly to the in house staff are so friendly, polite, do anything for you too very very clean environment great chefs would recommend to anyone 😋😊😊

Got seated but then ignored. As a solo diner the time felt excessive, especially as there was empty tables. I tried to look online for the menu, but the link would not open. I was not offered a menu whilst sat idly, so felt a bit neglected. After what felt like a long time, I chose to leave. Please understand that single diners need less time. But having said that, providing a menu is the most basic service imaginable. So I can't rate the food as never got any. ☹️
