Hoy fue nuestra primera visita en varios meses y recibimos una cálida bienvenida de Natalie. Nos sentamos y nos pidieron que registráramos nuestra visita en la aplicación del NHS. Los menús ahora se pueden descargar y las tablas están bien espaciadas. Las bebidas y nuestra comida llegaron rápidamente y el croque - monsieur era tan bueno como cualquier cosa que haya probado en Francia. Gracias a todos, ¡volveremos!

Went in here for a friend’s of nunroyd park meeting..the upstairs area was set out great ,just right for a meeting place...ease of getting a drink at the bar was effortless highly recommend

Llamamos a tomar algo y picar algo el viernes por la noche. Nos paramos en la entrada de la sección de mesas y esperamos a que nos sentaran. Había una señora sirviendo las mesas y ella simplemente nos ignoró. Había algunas mesas vacías, así que esperamos. Después de un rato, mi esposo fue al bar a buscarnos un par de bebidas mientras esperábamos que nos sentaran. Mientras tanto, me acerqué a la camarera mientras ella atendía a las personas que comían, tratando de llamar su atención, pero ella seguía yendo y viniendo sin reconocerme. Eventualmente me senté en una de las mesas vacías esperando que ella viniera a mí, pero no. We went for Sunday dinner and I ordered the beef, it arrived and looked liked it had been microwaved, the slices of meat had the imprint of the other on it, I tried it, it was very chewy, I complained about the meat and was brought some which was slightly better but still tough and tasteless, the roast potatoes looked very pale and the mash tasted liked it had been reheated, very disappointing and I will not be returning for a Sunday roast. I have eaten here many times over the years and standards seemed to have slipped here.

Superb service. Came in a large party for a Xmas dinner and drinks. Nice food good service and a lovely atmosphere. Excellent little bar / restaurant

I ordered the roast chicken. It was a very poor plate of food indeed. It’s such a shame the standards have dropped so considerably. I used to love coming here. The chicken looked like it had been microwaved. It was pale and tasteless. The gravy was weak. The roast parsnips and carrots weren’t edible. The sausage was incredible cheap tasting and overcooked. The roast potatoes were reheated and unseasoned. Lastly the stuffing ball was packet paxo. It was a school dinner from the 70s. Any decent chef would not have allowed food like that to leave their kitchen. I enjoyed chatting with my friend but I will not be returning for food. There’s so many good places to eat locally serving superior food at better prices.

Came here for a works meal, was quite crowded but luckily booked a table as there was 10 of us. Drinks took some time to arrive but was expected, food didn't take long at all. ordered a cheeseburger with fries and presentation was good. The fries portion could've been bigger but the burger was tasty and meat quality was good. Not too pricey and has a nice pub atmosphere. 4/5

We have visited here regularly for the last 7 years. Admittedly, we have not been for around 3 months.The trio roast today was a real disappointment. Veg, looked unappealing, and was overcooked, and 1 small sprig of broccoli was pointless. The roast potatoes were hard. The meat tasteless and processed. The meal was barely warm.You need to up your game again, or you will struggle. There are plenty of places to eat locally that are far better now.

Second visit and not disappointed again. The staff are friendly, the food is of good quality and big portions, and its cosy on a cold day. Thank you again.

Nos recomendaron probar Coopers en otro pub en Guiseley, ya que estábamos luchando por encontrar una cena asada un domingo. Afortunadamente, Coopers salió bien. Los anfitriones jóvenes nos dieron una cálida bienvenida y ambos comimos un almuerzo de carne asada realmente decente con pudines de Yorkshire y muchas verduras.

Detenido para una comida y una bebida después del trabajo el viernes por la noche. Había reservado previamente una mesa pensando que podríamos tener problemas un viernes por la noche. Sorprendido al descubrir que éramos los únicos comensales cuando llegamos. Establecido en los tres entrantes mixtos que eran deliciosos y mucho para que los dos compartamos. Tenía un pez butty para compartir con papas fritas después de los entrantes, que era bueno, pero estábamos demasiado llenos después de haber tenido los entrantes. Un poco decepcionado con el ambiente ya que el lugar estaba vacío pero sin duda lo recomendaría y volveremos en una noche ocupada.

Went for lunch with the hubby . Has steak & Stilton pie . It has got to be up there as one of the best pies I’ve eaten . Fantastic service too would highly recommend 😀😀😀😀

Work colleague held her birthday celebrations here. Was told if I would like a vegan curry can speak to host looking after the celebrations. Offered a lentil, butternut squash and spinach curry this lacked any form of seasoning.

I have just had my 40th birthday party here. It was brilliant. The setting was amazing with a small stage for the DJ. The lights were perfect to set the mood.

We’ve been customers of Coopers for quite a few years but on our last couple of visits the food has been a little disappointing.

Visited with my family for Sunday lunch, staff were really attentive Natalie in particular making my son Max mocktails and really making an effort with the kids. Food was great couldn't have been happier. Will definately be back!

Me and my husband popped into coopers and had a light lunch .the decor is nice and there is a very good selection of drinks with speciality beers and we had an unusual mango cider . I had a club sandwich which was nice but not overly large usually they come with three slices per half the whole sandwich was just two slices and for nearly £8 I feel it was a bit pricey . The dessert was disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend it as again for £500 there wasn’t a lot and the shortbread wasn’t crisp it was a too soft

Estuvimos allí para el almuerzo del domingo para celebrar un cumpleaños tardío. Teníamos una reserva a la 1 pm, que parecía no haber sido registrada, aún teníamos una mesa hasta las 4 pm. . . . No hay problema.

Visité un viernes por la noche para cenar con un buen amigo. Hemos estado en Coolers innumerables veces antes a lo largo de los años, quizás 3 por mes. El menú se ha reducido de tamaño de nuevo, pero había suficiente para elegir. Compartimos una porción de nachos para comenzar (¡una porción es bastante grande!) Luego tuvimos 'salchicha y puré' y una hamburguesa. La comida era deliciosa, aunque la salchicha y el puré eran solo eso, sin verduras incluidas.

Tres de nosotros cenamos en una noche muy tranquila el lunes por la noche, habíamos reservado una mesa pero realmente debimos haberlo hecho debido a que fue una noche tan tranquila. Todos ordenamos platos diferentes y encontramos que todos eran agradables. La cerveza de Okel 's, Isla de Man estaba en excelente forma y lavó muy bien la buena comida. El servicio era bueno y añadido a una agradable velada.

Lovely attentive staff , Especially the American/Canadian (unsure which , don’t want to appear rude!!!!) lady who recommended the Rubarb Gin with ginger ale! We will definitely be back and can’t wait to attend one of the comedy nights!! Great little find 😁😁😁

As we were attending a family gathering later in the evening we called in for a quick snack earlier in the day. Food was very nice and tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Well worth the visit.

excellent real ale and food bar, big choice of cask ales , beer expensive compared to other bars as was the food , but it is a nice atmostphere and excellent décor, the barmaid has worked there for 7-8 years is good at her job and provides friendly customer service.i would recommend it .

Went with a friend for the umpteenth time.

Had a meal at Coopers tonight (Sunday), just 4 of us. It took 10 minutes to get our reserved table because there were no staff around. The bar was busy so we gave up waiting there to ask. A very courteous waitress showed us our table and got drinks quickly but there were no menus available so we had to wait another 10 minutes for those.

Visited on a Tuesday evening. Were served by three different people. There was confusion over what was on the menu between those serving so it was difficult to order. At one point they were debating with each other what they were able to serve. It just seemed chaotic. It took an hour from the time of ordering to the main courses being served.

Party of five adults had a great, late afternoon Sunday lunch. Beer is great, staff are friendly, atmosphere is relaxed and food is excellent. Not the cheapest Sunday lunch but £ 20 - 25 with drinks (wine and beer) and desserts it was worth every penny.

A group of 4 of us called in for a drink on a Saturday night to celebrate a birthday. We had been out for a meal and a few drinks and this was our last bar. I went to the bar to order our second drink there and was dealt with by a miserable patronising unhelpful bar man. Its a Saturday night in a pub, if the bar man is going to be miserable to people then I think he needs to reconsider his career.

We visited coopers for Sunday lunch. As always I really enjoyed the food.. Especially the desserts! I was however slightly disappointed that there wasn't a veggie option for the Sunday lunch, instead I was just given extra veg. My boyfriend was extremely happy with his beef however. The service was great. The staff at coopers are always really friendly and helpful. A veggie option on the Sunday lunch menu would definitely have got you guys a 5/5!

Food is good, I had the Sunday lunch. It was filling and well cooked, and came with plenty of veg. Last time we visited I had apple crumble and custard-really enjoyed it. We have been a few times now and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and helpful, with a good choice of drinks to keep you from getting thirsty.

We enjoyed the meal we had here but it was nothing special. Staff were welcoming and there is a good choice if drinks on offer. I probably won't go back in a hurry as there are other places locally with better food.

Four of us had dinner for a Christmas treat, and again Coopers delivered an exceptional experience. The beer selection was perfect for the season and we were easily able to take our seats. Although the pub was very busy, everyone was very attentive and helpful....

I wrote a review on the 12th of July about the change of food suppliers at Coopers and how disappointed we were on our last visit. After my review the company emailed me and very apologetic for the quality of our meal. They stated they had changed suppliers again and hoped our next visit would be better.......... We went back at the end of July and had a terrific meal. The quality of the food (in particular the burgers) was back to the high standards we have come to know at Coopers. Thanks to the management for listening and the staff at Coopers who are always excellent.

I have written about our love for Coopers previously. Fantastic choice of beers, nice atmosphere and welcoming. However ....... we visited last week just after a refurbishment for a few drinks and a meal. My wife had her usual Coopers burger with the trimmings but was really disappointed. The burger tasted cheap and didn't look at all appetising. We have come to love the food at Coopers but last week was a real let down. I am told they changed food suppliers ..... PLEASE CHANGE BACK !

It's always nice here. The barman (ponytail) is always very welcoming and super efficient. He could run the place standing on his head. We both had a pie which came with chips and veg. The food here is so lovely. Always fresh and piping hot. Highly recommend it. Fab range of ales too. And you can bring dogs :)

Having dined here on numerous occasions, called in having eaten elsewhere (trying out new local alternative) for a final drink. They had officially stopped serving food but we were able to get a cheese board to go with our bottle of wine. Fantastic customer service and fabulous cheese board, as always.

I love coopers; it's my local and it never fails to make me a happy diner. It's pub food done really well at affordable prices; portions are huge and the flavours are hearty and warming. The beer and wine selection is great and the service is great. Only once did I have a poor meal and it was replaced and removed from the bill. That's great service.However, the downside is that you generally have to book to be guaranteed a seat, why they don't open up the upstairs is beyond me. Secondly, the fact they don't allow children in is a bit inconvenient. Don't get me wrong, I am glad there are no children allowed in the evenings, as it's a grown up bar and it is a pleasure not to have children around. However, it would be nice before 5pm to be able to take my 8 year old in for food, especially Sunday lunch but this is not allowed and it means we don't go as often as we'd like. Please Coopers can you review this situation and have a child cut off from 5pm???

Superb staff and food. A little gem in the middle of Guiseley. Certainly worth a visit for the beers alone. The chef is excellent

My husband and I had planned to eat at a different pub but on arrival there had been told they weren't serving food that night as they had a private function on. Not knowing the area we drove around and ended up at Coopers bar by chance and were very pleased we did. My husband ordered the sausage and mash and I had the burger with chilli. Both meals were excellent. The staff were very friendly and we were impressed with the cleanliness and general good 'vibe' of the place. Will definitely call again when in the area.

Went with fiancée and her parents on recommendation of barmaid from The Woolpack in Esholt.Great lunch. I had a filling steak and ale pie, and the rest of the guests were similarly very happy with their lunches as well. Best of all was the selection of ales enjoyed by the father-in-law (to be) and me - in particular the Yorkshire Classic which I shall have to have again.Venue wasn't totally traditional pub-like inside but perfectly pleasant. Would happily come back.

We have eaten and drunk here on many occasions. The food is of an excellent standard with a changing menu.The range of drinks is very good with a wide range of craft beers and wines.Coopers has a reputation for being a bit more expensive than other pubs and bars but everything is always perfect.Staff are friendly and helpful and the place is clean and well looked after.

We booked the function room for a family party in the afternoon and a birthday party in the evening with Dj , it's a perfect venue for a party, lovely décor with a stage, and a bar in the corner. Beautifully set out and tastefully decorated. Natalie and her team did a wonderful job, I can't thank them enough we all had a great time.

Absolutely first class as always but most importantly the food is always hot! We love coming here especially weekdays when it's quieter.

Visited yesterday for lunch with my husband ! The service was extremely good ! But I've got say I had the pie which was the best pie I have ever had in my life ! I know that's a bit extreme but it was amazing ! Will be going back again

Visited here a couple of times for lunch, always enjoyed it. Tried the seabass with potatoes, green beans and lemon pesto dressing was very tasty and was quite a small portion and so a healthy lunch! Hubby had the salmon, ginger and pak choi, he thought it was ok but a bit bland and didn't taste the salmon. The staff were friendly and busy atmosphere, nice lunch, would recommend and would return.

Always a good selection of beers, and a friendly crowd. Small terrace on the back, mostly for the smokers but ok in the summer.

My wife and I have eaten at Coopers at least once a month for the last year. It's local, friendly (even dog friendly) and the food is fab. Excellent choice of beers and wines severed by friendly staff. It's clientele are my age (30 +), no annoying music or TV's just the noise of people enjoying a drink and socialising. The menu choice is not vast but it's tasty and good value. I love the beef feathered blade and the wife loves the burgers. A pint of Timmy Taylor's to wash it down .... what more could you ask for. I love this place but always remember to book, especially at the weekend.Loads of parking in Morrisons car park opposite and very near train station. Give it a go !

We were there recently on a Sunday to celebrate sisters birthday (won't give her age away).....Wasn't too busy when we arrived around 1pm. We'd booked however and went straight to the table. We then noticed ALL the tables were reserved !!!!Drinks ordered of which for beers & lagers there is ample choice. Two beer Sunday roasts, two lamb and a vegetarian large warm salad with sweet potatoes fries. The roasts were superb. Two large slices meat. Mash and roast potatoes. Stuffing ball and huge Yorkshire pud. Massive plate veg: red cabbage, carrots and pea pods.Also a huge jug grave.....lovelySalad was lovely (so sis said)Puds...yes some still had room brownie and ice cream, cheese and biscuits (lovely), sticky toffee pud and apple crumble....a dish in itself. Coffee and tea to finish. Roast is £10.95 Puds around £5Great friendly staff. Food was very good. All hot and plenty of it As an alternative to a full pub or Carvery it wins hands down

All I should say is Coopers sell a great glass of wine. My husband likes the beer too. The bar area is small but comfortable. The food is spot on, large portions( which hubby enjoys) home made and delicious. No room for puddings . Great place for a drink or meal, but booking is essential.

Every time i have been to Coopers the food has been awful admitted it was party food but would still expect it to be better than was. The range of beers was also not to my tastes so all in all very disappointed.

Visited this bar for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. A good crowd, welcoming bar staff. I did not eat but the experience was buzzing. All ages, close to major public routes. I am coming back for a good night out soon and I will report back on my findings.

Lunch with a couple - friend of mine. We didn't have a table booked but the staff were able to squeeze us in - we had plenty of time to dine. Okay so I've not been in since the renovation - I'm impressed - who needs Leeds when we have Coopers in Guiseley! The food and drinks menus were more than ample. We all enjoyed our main course it's a good job we didn't go for a starter as we all had plenty to eat! My girlfriend had a gin, I had wine and my other friend drank a pint of coke as he was driving! I had a veg pie, and the others had beef then fish. We did have dessert, my girlfriend and I shared a hot dessert with treacle ice R.E.M. and my other friend had icecream. Would I go back- yes hopefully I'll get back there soon.

One of my favorites in the area, food is delicious and well priced, staff are brilliant (especially waiter with plaited beard) really do recommend.

We frequently visit here when having lunch out. The food is always delicious! Our favourites are the fish and chips and the pie.Service can be good or average depending on who out of the staff is serving you.Worth noting that they do not allow children in as we realised when we tried to come for lunch a few weeks ago.

We go to Coopers all the time. My In-Laws even like to go here when they come and visit from Skipton. As the food is lovely, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and you're allowed to take dogs in. The choice of beer is unbelievable, constantly being updated. Also, being a lover of Stout they always have a different one for me to try. Definitely, check this place out. Just remember they allow dogs but not kids.

Been here several times. Lovely (and different) food, and beers (I am told). Reasonably quiet but then it was Monday lunchtime when we visited. Four different meals but we all enjoyed them. We all had desserts but I have to say mine, the "cheesecake" was the most disappointing.

We arrived at 6pm on a Monday. As expected, it was a quiet time to go. The menu was ok for choice. Prices around £12 ,per main. No one had a starter. The trout looked good when it arrived. Fish & chips were a popular choice. Sausage & mash was very very tasty. Sadly they have no licence for children so 1 colleague had to leave who had brought her 10 week old daughter. She was fast asleep in the pram but was asked to leave x

My wife and I decided to go for a Sunday late afternoon/early eve dinner. No problem to get a table as only 2 of us and 'between shifts' in the day as it were. The waitress was attentive but didn't know upon asking exactly what type of 'game' was cooked in the game pie. She went away to find out though. The food (shared starter & x2 mains) arrived without too much of a wait; however its best to say that the taste experience was average. For somewhere which likes to brand itself as much for its modern dining as it does its craft beers I think the beers easily outperform the food.

Had a great time here tonight. Of course the group of friends helps but it's only ever going to go smoothly with good food and service. Thankfully both were brilliant. Good portions and value for money. Tasty food and the really friendly staff made the evening stress free. Thanks guys.

Evening out with friends. Beer was good. Starving, so looking forward to food... sadly cheeseburger was cold, dry and tasteless. Limp salad. Would go back for a beer every time. Just wouldn't eat again. Better places nearby for food.

Table for 7, the place was full, the food was very good but the service was absolutely fantastic! Best waitress any one of us had ever been served by! (And the beer was good)10 from 10 for the food and beer12 from 10 for the service!!

I went in early doors mid week for a bite to eat!It was only early and all the tables had reserved on?I asked the bar maid if we could eat quickly and was told all the diners were coming shortly?So tried to find a seat in the bar area but was full of every man and his dog.So went to eat else where anyway on the way back some an hour an half later.All the tables were still reserved with nobody sat there .

Me and my boyfriend visited just for a couple of drinks and then decided to order a few starters as a light bite to share, the staff were very happy and friendly, telling us what the specials were and what are recommended. The food came out and looked amazing, and it all tasted amazing! We loved it that much, we are off again on Saturday night for a 3 course meal! Definitely recommend!

We took two guests to eat out here one evening as they had not visited on their own. It does not require too many words to describe our experience. Food,drink,atmosphere and service were all simply excellent.Most outstanding was the table service provided by the young waitress! Many miles would have to be travelled to find an equal!It will be a pleasure for us to return in the future.

We all met up at Coopers and it was clean and well presented. All we had was coffee and a light bite. My friends had soup and bread - they all said it was delicious and clearly home made! I had flat bread with hummus - the hummus was home made but the flat bread was over cooked- still tasted good though!All said we would meet up here again. Very attentive and polite staff.

Went for a catch-up on Tuesday with an old mate. The place was busy but not full when we went in. They have a great selection of local real ales (It was a pity we were both driving). We had no problem getting a table in the restaurant area, although I did notice a couple of "reserved" tables.The burger was just what I'd been salivating for all day, and it didn't disappoint. My friend had gammon, and what a slab of pig it was - thick and juicy.Highly recommend.

Very nice bar indeed. Good selection of draught and bottled beers. Prices are reasonable and atmosphere good. And must importantly.... bar staff were spot on !!No hesitation in recommending.

First timers for us, Food was very nice , Sunday dinner , 3 meat roast very nice, BUT the cleanliness of the place is very poor. There are cobwebs in several place and the blinds on the windows need a good dusting. As a diner you wonder the state of the kitchen. The ladies loo needs attention too ! It lacks cleanliness and a good lick of paint ! The waiter who was serving us knocked over a full glass of wine and never offered to replace it or apologised.

Been a few times. Best burgers around, cheese, onions and pulled pork on top of beef burger. Everyone loved the burgers. A few in our group moaned about the price of beer. Also gets too loud to hear the person next to you on a Saturday night. I will defiantly be going again. I prefer lunch time than tea time though

We go here at least once a month and have always had great food and very friendly and efficient service. The menu is just so tasty. They change the menu often enough but keep some dishes like pie, fish and chips and sausage, albeit they have different flavours. This is all quality ingredients and freshly made. They have a good selection of vegetarian too. They have many craft beers and guest beers so always plenty of interesting selections. They are very friendly and we just love it. You can rely on this place and it is by far the best food in Guiseley and further.

We have visited Coopers many time with family and friends but last night 31/8/16 was one of the best.We took visiting family and thought no need to book on a Tuesday night but only just managed to get the last available table at 9pm.Our party of 4 were delighted with the quality of the food. The waitress was extremely helpful assisting with our choices.My only downside to this place is the noise! It does not have carpets etc to help absorb decibels when the place is busy and we ended up shouting at each other during our conversation. Not pleasurable and slightly spoiled our evening.

Ok, I'm biased. I love this pub. I spend a fair bit of time around the bar area but never eat there so for my 40th, we decided to go for a meal. It was fantastic, really really good. My wife had the Halloumi and Beetroot salad and I had the Monkfish and Calamari special. Both meals were brilliant, and then we had the cheese board which gave us enough cheese to be having funky dreams for a month. We were served by Stewart (or is it Stuart?) who was as brilliant as ever, really fun. The service was quick and well priced. If you are thinking of eating here, but are only looking at the menu only, please just book, the specials board is always great. No doubt I'll be in next week to tell them personally......
