Cute French bistro, efficient and friendly staff and consistently great food. We visit every time we find ourselves in Brixham.

First time dining here and found the over-all experience from the service food and ambience excellent. Gladly recommend Look forward to visiting again

We booked for an early dinner after seeing the reviews on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed! Between us we had the French onion soup, salmon rilet and two beef bourginons - all of which was delicious. The beef in particular was a highlight - plenty of meat! The house red was also a delightful accompaniment. The service was good. All in all, a fab meal!

Great service, great burger. The brandy fried onions took the price. A nice pint of lager on the side. On a different note the rest room was beautiful.

We've been here a couple of times now and have never been disappointed in the food. It's a lovely atmosphere and the staff are very attentive but not intrusive. I look forward to working my way through the menu on future visits.

Called in on a chilly thursday evening after a lovely day visiting National Trust properties in the area (including Agatha Christie's house, where I was invited to play on her Steinway Grand Piano !) Was met by Hannah would invited us to sit in the window seats - with amazing views over the harbour and the replica Golden Hind Galleon - great attentive service and wonderful food from their new chef, Chantelle. We shared a starter of King Prawns in a cognac sauce, followed by Moules frites ! both delicious with freshly baked baguettes, and finished off with a wonderful home made creme brulée desert. Highly Recommended - we will be back ! !

Lovely quaint restaurant, super atmosphere, great service and really well cooked food; succulent steak au frites and sweet sea bass fillet with brilliant sauce and potatoes.

The English breakfast is good even if a bit expensive at neary £14. not including coffee or tea. But avoid the home-made 'baked beans' they are not what you would expect and at best have an aquired taste! Coffee is from an automatic machine rather than a pukka espresso one. Service is pleasant, polite and cheerful. Tables are smallish and when the café is full the feeling is a bit cheek by jowel. There appears to be a reluctance to open windows so can get a bit stuffy. Best to book a table especially Sunday morning out of season as there are few cafés doing cooked breakfasts at this time of year. Also do book evening meals. Lunch and evening meals are good, so is the choice available. Good selection of wines too!

Really lovely atmosphere great service with a perfect ‘pace’ food was fabulous …I shall definately be back my new favourite in Brixham

We booked a table for 4 for a family celebration meal. Three of us had steak with the prawns and my husband had the burger. I have to say that this was one of the best meals out I have ever had! Superb service, decor and lovely wine! I cannot praise or recommend LPM enough. We ALL enjoyed it so much and we cannot wait to return! Thank you so much for a lovely evening!

Called in today for a late lunch and what a fantastic meal we had!!! The food was sublime and cooked to perfection!!! Can’t recommend this place enough…if you’re in Brixham and want something special don’t walk on by…go in, you’ll not be disappointed!!! Booked in again for Thursday!!!

We ate here on two occasions. Although it was out of season, we could not praise the quality of the food high enough. On one evening, we had steak. It was beautifully cooked, moist and succulent. On the other evening we had plump, tasty moules - gorgeous. The service on both nights was excellent and very attentive. We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. As far as we are concerned, this is the BEST restaurant in Brixham.

On Monday 19th February we sat down to a superb meal of mussels, and my wife had turkey . The meal was the best I’ve ever had . So excited to I let my son and his wife know how great it was and re booked a table for sunday 25th . We sat down having looked forward to mussels all week, to find out they had run out of salmon en croute and mussels. Ok so we all had to re think , and order other food off the menu . 2 of us had turkey the other 2 had French style beef Sunday roast . The beef was so chewy we couldn’t eat it , I told the staff and nothing was done about it , so we left the beef and paid full price . I know beef is difficult to find and prepare which is why I don’t usually order it . Steak and beef are off my menu unless it’s cooked by the chef at churston golf course. I will go back but I guess it’s best to eat during the week when they have more supply of fish meals . The other party in the restaurant at the time were being served with salmon en croute , after we were told they didn’t have any ,so we presume they pre ordered it . Ps I guess it’s best to phone first if you’re wanting something special like salmon and mussels from a fishing town /market which is 40 paces down the road .

We love coming here as the service is brilliant and so welcoming and the food delicious with a great atmosphere. It's a definite should you be visiting with some lovely views over the harbour if by the window. Everything is reasonably priced. There has been a great offer on in January and February offering 20% discount on food which was our only niggle as on both occasions we have taken up this offer the discount has been lower than expected but sorted out immediately when pointed out. Always a lovely evening though

My first visit to LPM with high expectations having seen great reviews. Fantastic menu and food, plenty of choice. Welcoming staff who were attentive without being obtrusive. My friend and I had a lovely evening and will return- there's more things to try on the menu! Oh- and the profiteroles are out of this world!

The food here is exceptional - French cuisine cooked to perfection. The staff are lovely, knowledgable, extremely well trained and polite. The atmosphere is lively, friendly and vibrant. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and cannot recommend highly enough if you appreciate fine quality food.
