we stayed two nights and the accomodation and the food, especially the breakfast, were excellent.
The staff were very obliging and we had a very pleasant stay which we will repeat
A small, intimate, licenced music venue showing folk/country artists. May finish late-ish so plan ahead if coming into London.
Very friendly clientele.
I had booked a table for 3 family members for last night and gave the restaurant a list of my food issues. The guys at the restaurant could not do enough to make sure that the food I had pre-ordered was good for me and just kept checking that the meal was fine. The meal was great for all 3 of us and the service was just fantastic - so well organised and all the serving staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. One of our best nights out, that's for sure Jinnie Edwards (booked under the name of Mike Cox)

**Fantastic Food and Warm Service, with Some Late-Night Challenges**
Basmati Restaurant offers a truly enjoyable dining experience, with incredible food and a staff that goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. From the moment you step in, the atmosphere is inviting, and the service is consistently warm and attentive, adding to the overall charm of the place.
The menu boasts a great selection of well-prepared dishes, full of flavor and authenticity, making it a standout spot for quality dining. Whether you're indulging in a classic favorite or trying something new, the food rarely disappoints.
That said, the relatively small place settings can feel a bit restrictive, particularly during busy periods. Additionally, due to the restaurant’s proximity to the town centre nightlife, the atmosphere can shift as the night progresses, occasionally becoming a bit rowdy. While this may not be an issue for all diners, those seeking a quieter experience might prefer an earlier visit.
Overall, Basmati excels where it truly matters—exceptional food and stellar service. A great choice for a delicious meal, with just a bit of consideration for timing depending on the experience you're looking for.

3 of us came for a meal on Monday and it was amazing! It was my vegetarian sister’s first ever Indian and she hasn’t been able to stop thinking about it since! The food was perfect! The server was also so efficient and nice! Thank you so much!
We chose the bench based off recommendations for good vegan ice cream. Initially we were disappointed that vanilla was the only vegan ice cream flavour that day (not usually the case, and there was also raspberry sorbet) - until we tasted it! Genuinely the best we've ever had!! 100% recommend.
We chose this restaurant for the great vegan choice menu and it didn't disappoint.
All our meals were very nicely cooked and we all thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
Staff were pleasant and attentive.
Would definitely visit again when we visit Leamington.
