First time trying Mexican food ...was not disappointed, really tasty an fresh . Definitely be back for some more .

Came into Mexican House for the first time tonight with my boyfriend and couldn’t rate it higher, food was unreal, the staff where super friendly and couldn’t do any more for you. Ordered the mixed skewers and the burritos along with a couple of starters and everything was amazing. Will definitely be going again :) very reasonably priced too!

Popped in today for some food with a friend, we were served by Sabrina I think it was (sorry if wrong) but she was so helpful and friendly and nothing was an issue for her! Service was quick and food was amazing will definitely be returning! Reasonable price too :)

Fab gem of a Mexican restaurant, great food, great start and great value for money Where do I start! Great welcome walking through the door, lots of talk about the menu. We love Mexican food and haven’t found a good place until now. Food was the best I’ve ever had, the seasoning and taste was just perfect I’m not a hot spice loving person and the flavours were absolutely spot on. The nachos starters were divine, as were the potato skins. We both had fajitas, him Steak me mixed with prawns. They came out sizzling like mad, with all the pots of sour cream, guacamole, cheese and gorgeous flour tortillas. How have we not found this gem of a place before. Staff were just lovely and Dilip gets a special mention for being the friendliest restaurant owner we have ever met. I have to say we are a bit picky about eating out it, this place is perfect - if could give ten stars I would. Even the bill was great! A fab night out we will definitely be back.

Absolutely disgusting. Nachos fused together, tasteless and all cold and sloppy. Cheese garlic bread was so salty I could not eat it and ice cold... and the thing they call sticky pudding looked like something that was dragged from the back of the freezer from five years ago , vile, straight in the bin ! Do not waste your time ordering! and it was late!

We visited on a Monday night. The atmosphere was near zero, the lights were brighter than Anfield and the loud pop music that was being played ensured the whole Mexican experience was lost. The service was good but the food was very average and luke warm when it arrived. I am guessing at weekends this place is very different. The prices are also average for the area.

You need to come here. Our daughter was competing in an event at Aintree International Equestrian Centre and as we were staying locally, we found this place on Google. Well, what a find! The mixed skewer was tender, moist and flavoured with delicious herbs and spices. Honestly the best I’ve had. And the rice was totally delicious - perfectly flavoured and not dry, like so many Mexican eateries. My wife and daughter had the mixed tacos. Being 8, the beef was a touch too spicy for my daughter BUT we were warned in advanced by the owner, who gave amazing service throughout and was very chatty. I got the kebab just in case the tacos were too hot, and my daughter wolfed down the grilled chicken and lamb. She’s really fussy when it comes to meat - if it’s tough or fatty she will not eat it. The Malbec we ordered was not available, but the replacement Merlot was delicious and complemented the food well. We were made to feel very welcome indeed and no doubt we will be back when we’re in the area again.

The food is a disgrace to people of Mexico I can but me house on it that there isn't even one mexcian working in the kitchen food was over hour and half late turned up burrito was awful just wrap filled with mince meat and rice and the salad was thrown in a little plastic bag disgusting waste of money

This is becoming my favourite curry restaurant in Liverpool! This is how curries are supposed to be, freshly made and made from scratch. I have to travel to Manchester sometimes for a decent curry as Liverpool has none, except for EastZEast and now this resturant. My favourite are the kukhara curry and rice and Khasi curry and rice. Food has been amazing every time we ordered

Nice relaxed atmosphere.. Had teatime special which i sort of enjoyed Not a spicy food person..ribs however were superb..not spicy you see. It was well laid out the restaurant.. Loved the Mexican hat's.. Pity you didn't have bitter on draught..

We ordered from here this evening and it was beautiful!! Food was amazing and was delivered in good time. My kids loved their food, my partner loved his food and the tacos I ordered were so good. Delivery driver was friendly and a lady from the restaurant had called as my house number wasn't on the order and she was friendly as well. Thank you for the amazing food. Will defo be ordering from here again!!!

Just had a meal for all my family. We had Quesidillas, haloumi fingers, Chimichanga, signature fajitas, trio of tacos, Chipotle chicken enchiladas rice, beans, salsa and salad. Every meal was cooked to perfection (great job guys). Had it delivered and it was piping hot. Just found my new go to restaurant 5 minutes from my door. Will definitely order again and when this lockdown has been lifted will definitely visit the restaurant. Highly recommend the Mexican House for food.

At the moment there are seat out side, and the meals are lovely, I had lamp chops , my wife had chicken wings, they were both very nice

Tuvimos una comida deliciosa y disfrutamos muchísimo hasta que llegamos al final de nuestro plato principal cuando nuestros platos comenzaron a ser retirados mientras mi madre todavía estaba comiendo, lo que hizo que se sintiera apresurada para terminar su comida, el hombre que nos servía entonces se volvió hacia mí y dijo que había mucha gente esperando. Luego regresó literalmente 30 segundos después, mientras mi madre todavía estaba comiendo y dijo, ¿quieres postres? Ni siquiera habíamos tenido tiempo de discutir esto cuando nos trajeron la factura y él estaba de pie sosteniendo la máquina de tarjetas. Me parece que este servicio al cliente es muy pobre dado que todos habíamos pedido entrantes y platos principales. ¡No había necesidad de apresurarnos especialmente cuando la gente todavía estaba comiendo y no habíamos terminado nuestras bebidas! ! ¡Muy decepcionante! ! ! !

Service was really delayed but that could have been because it was busy. The group ordered different dishes and the fajitas were really popular but the chilli and steak were just okay. Could be much better.

Great tasting food, decent size portions, brilliant friendly service and excellent value for money. Always a good visit. Would recommend to anyone, especially the spicy wedges.

2 stars due to the fact the food was alright considering it wasn't what we ordered. Ordered 2 veggie burritos with wedges. Which are nearly £10 each. They came basically with nothing that was stated on the menu. We had two wraps full to brim of Mexican style rice and a few veggies. No guacamole. No salsa. No sour cream sauce... And I've never had a burrito from any Mexican place that foesnt place a SINGLE bean in their burritos. Would rather have my money back. It seems like they even made my order a lot later on Deliveroo on purpose so that I couldn't complain. As it came 40 mins before the estimated time.

Liked Taquitos, Lamb Skewer, stuff jalapenos and Tacos. Didn't think much of crispy calamari, Mexican Chipotle Dippers.

Mi esposa y yo fuimos a The Mexican House el fin de semana pasado, un lugar muy agradable. Hay muchas opciones para elegir con el menú. Los entrantes y platos principales que tuvimos fueron excelentes y muy caliente. Demasiado lleno para el postre. Excelentes cócteles. El servicio fue excelente, Debbie realmente nos cuidó. Gran ambiente, una velada muy agradable.Incluso hay una sala de actos en el piso superior que ofrece servicio de buffet, suena bien para fiestas.Una verdadera ventaja fue el 10% de descuento del NHS, fuera de los precios ya razonables.Definitivamente volveremos ya que hay mucho más en el menú que queremos probar.Gran restaurante sin la molestia de ir a la ciudad.

Came in here afew weeks ago after a friend enjoyed his visit, server was very attentive, food was 10/10 came out nice and hot. Before paying the bill we was offered a free drink on the house! Will be back again soon!

The service was very good and the restaurant is welcoming. Whilst the food is inexpensive and good it just doesn't have the wow factor. There is plenty to choose from and my Taquito's to start were good....the main was quite bland, greasy tacos and the filling could have been better. Overall it's not a bad place and I wouldn't want to deter anyone from going, but the quality and taste of the food could be better. Maybe reduce the menu size and concentrate on the quality?

One of the nicest Mexicans in Liverpool. Great for a local family meal. We’ve also ordered takeaway from this restaurant and unlike some restaurants the quality doesn’t drop at all. Definitely recommend.

We love it here. Always a warm welcome from Dilip he always treats us so well. I have tried all the menu and everything is well cooked and tasty....delicious!!! If you are a steak lover then the Sirloin is fab and the staff are lovely

Visited with friends after always wanting to try it. It was ok. Food mediocre, starters where cold, and not worth the money for the portion size. Mains where again fine but I wasn’t overly impressed. Visited other Mexicans in Liverpool that exceeded this one. Overall like I said it was ok and the place itself was nice and clean.

We ordered a takeout from here as my mum had a hysterectomy and couldn’t walk. The food was all hot and delicious and everyone who ate complimented how nice it was. They did forget the kids meal i ordered and after speaking to them on the phone a fresh one was sent over within 10 minutes. So i will definitely be ordering from here again

We went to a 50th birthday celebration. We weren't expecting very much for the price - we had the set menu at £8.95, but WOW, what a pleasant surprise. The food was really good. I had the prawn and salmon fishcakes to start and the chicken fajita as the main course. Both were cooked well and the fishcakes were very tasty. I was a bit disappointed I hadn't ordered the spare ribs when I saw them but I needn't have worried as the portions were so large I got half my daughter's :)

We wanted to eat somewhere reasonably close by to Anfield stadium and chose this based on previous reviews. We were really impressed with the food and the level of service.

Me and the family come all the time, at least three times month. It is so cheap and has the best quality of food. Phillipe can’t do anything more for you, add anything to your order and change anything around if fussy. Place, staff and service is 100%. Highly recommend the Tequita or nachos for starters and the bucket of Corona!

Our first visit to this resteraunt which was clean, and welcoming. The staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was lovely. A great menu with loads of choices cooked beautifully. Very good value indeed. Would go again. They also do take aways and have a function room for special events. I would recommend it.
