Changos Burrito Bar in Liverpool

Have been coming here for 2+ years. Staff are always lovely and a joy to interact with. The menu is fully customizable and has a great variety of fresh items/toppings such as pineapple salsa, nacho queso, cilantro and pickled jalapeño. Their grilled chicken also has a nice char.

Fast service. Friendly people. I ordered a regular burrito and it ended up being one of the most messy burritos I have had in a very long time. It was super good, but I made a tactical error and had too many wet and juicy ingredients. The corn salsa and pineapple were awesome but it ended up a lake of juice on my table. Hot sauce was good and actually hot. I'd go back for sure but just be more selective with my toppings!

friendly service and decent food, but I wish they'd update their hours :( I tried to go here two Mondays in a row and they were closed both times despite their hours saying they were open.

This is my absolute go to for lunch. It’s super quick, reasonably priced, and sooo good. There’s lots of options to make whatever kind of burrito you want and get it just right. Service is super nice. I love this place!

Top shelf food. Many choices on everything that could come on a burrito. Even healthy "Stubborn" soda pop to drink that tastes wonderful.

Burrito bar is my Go-to spot when I'm in the area and need lunch. Always delicious, very friendly staff.

The food is Amazing! You have so much to choose from for your meal. I got the large burrito for $12. It took me 3 times to eat it all. The staff is friendly and helpful. Love the atmosphere. Recommend to everyone.

Done been to this place two times now and everytime i go the meats cold even though it's in warmers so I'm confused i don't pay to get a cold burritos i even asked for them to mix the meat to warm it up the meat is always cold won't b going here anymore sad because this place is really good but there meat in the burritos r always cold smh

There are only a few joints with great burritos in Portland (sorry, I’m a spoiled Californian). This place exceeds “great” straight to excellent!

Food: 4.5 stars Delicious burrito; a little light on filling (lots of extra burrito wrapped up on itself. Order ahead / pickup experience: 0 stars I ordered online, but they prioritize the walk-in customers over online so don’t waste your time ordering online. They didn’t make my food until after I arrived and I had asked about where to pickup online orders. There’s no signage for online order pickup so I had to stand around until I could get someone’s attention. I may as well have queued up with everyone else since even the people who walked in the door after me had their food in hand before I did. Their limited hours (9-3) make it difficult to eat here. Also, in their haste to get caught up, they made me three 10” burritos instead two 10” and a 13” and I didn’t know until I got home. I lost $1.50 on that. I could complain about it but given how infrequently I’m able to go there (see previous comment about the hours) I don’t think it’s worth the effort. I’m sure it wasn’t intentional; it’s just disappointing. Would I eat the food again? Absolutely. Will I actually order lunch here again? Maybe, but unlikely. If I ever have a day off during the work week and I can dine in to make sure they get my order right, then yes.

Good food but a lack of options to have on burrito. ‘Nachos’ are actually just a bag of tortilla chips so be warned, they’re not the kind which have cheese and salsa on top.

$10 for a large (and I mean LARGE) burrito. Pretty amazing for the amount of food you get and the freshness. This is my favorite spot so far. Super friendly staff, and better tasting food. ✌️

i got nachos here a few days ago they were amazing! always feels good to support a family run business! the ingredients looked fresh and the restaurant overall was clean! as a vegetarian i had no problem at all with my meal, they had so many options! overall highly recommend checking out burrito bar!

Food was delicious. Nice change from train food. Good selection of fillings and all seemed fresh. I had a pork, a chicken and a steak taco. I liked the chicken the best. It was delicious. Great little spot in Portland.

I just had the best burrito I've ever had in Portland. I wish they had longer hours so I could have tried it sooner.

Excellent value for money, generous filling portions (a lot of places skimp on the meat) and delicious sauces. They're a bit messy so I'd only eat at home but I'm a bit of a weirdo. Can't fault: 10/10

This is an amazing fresh Mexican style buffet if you will. You can create your own tacos 🌮 or salads the options are endless. I highly recommend this restaurant.

If Rachel Ray opened up a Chipotle this would be it unfortunately. I really don't understand how everybody raves about this please. Reminds me of "fiesta day" at the hospital. I see it's a favorite for travelers and such on the go; but this is the furthest thing from authentic Mexican food. Stick to chipotle, (actual chipotle).

Amazing barritos like a subway but for a Barrito the flavor was out of this world

I walk by this place all the time but never had the opportunity to try them until today. They're DELICIOUS. Got an asada burrito with all the fixings and it was so satisfying. Well seasoned, well portioned, exactly what I needed for a late breakfast. Highly recommend 💖

Already reviewed this place before but it just deserves so much praise. Quite simply the best burritos in Liverpool. I’ve been eating burritos for a long time now and everything about this place is spot on. The ingredients are what make it; they’re always hot and fresh and taste amazing. You can taste each individual component that goes into their food and you don’t pay extra for extras. Their hot sauces are so good, ‘The End’ is the one! The staff are always friendly and will make recommendations if you need help. Their meal deals and loyalty points are just the cherry on top. Literally can’t recommend this place enough. Don’t bother with the other places in town; you can taste the difference here. Listo is where it’s at.

Similar format to a chipotle but far better flavors and seasonings. You can always taste love and care that goes into food, which is noticeable here. Good to go container.

I ordered burrito bowl from here for the first time today and it tasted horrible!! All the bowl had was bunch of dry shredded chicken(97% of the bowl was dry shredded chicken), handful of rice, stale black beans and everything was tasteless. Never ordering from here again!!!

Got take out our first night here in Portland. I got a large burrito and picked what I wanted inside. My daughter got a small with chips and salsa on the side. She is vegetarian. I ordered pork, sour cream, and a sauce that had anchovies in the recipe (no, you don’t taste the anchovies). The server caught on my daughter doesn’t eat meat or fish, and she told her about the ingredients. Food was delicious and I did not get the normal heartburn after eating Mexican-type foods. Delicious!!!

Think Subway but for burritos. A step above Chipotle in my opinion

Consistently fast, friendly, and high quality. This is my favorite lunch spot in The Pearl.

Changos are brilliant and the staff are amazing. We placed an order via just eat and then order was cancelled by just eat with no notification or apology. I called Changos and explained they did not cancel it. Changos were amazing. They made the full order there and then and were fantastic and friendly. I'd definitely recommend it. They fixed an issue for a hungry office that wasnt even their fault.

Hey I have been here before and it was good, but today not so much. The 2 tocos looked great but everything was cold.

This is seriously the best burrito I've ever tasted! Came back for more. The price is a bit high but it was worth it! All the ingredients were really fresh and I especially liked the taste of the guacamole and their sauces. The guy who works there is super friendly and was helping with the choices, when I came back there were 3 girls working and they were not very friendly or helpful so that was a bummer, but the taste of the burrito and the service on my first visit made me forget about that :)

I think I may have found my new favourite lunch spot. Bit of a queue but well worth the wait. Large Burrito nachos and drink for 6.99 not bad. V tasty food and good soft tortilla. Nachos a little salty. Can of vimto of course ! Nice seating upstairs with good free wifi. Might well be back.

Sadly, this was my first meal in Portland (4 years ago) as it was recommended to my husband and I by a local. To say the least, the food was TERRIBLE. Meat was very dry and flavor combination was just weird. Only finished 1/4 of the burrito and threw it in the garbage. We still make jokes about how terrible the food was to this day.

The food was delicious, however, the person in front of me ordered the same thing I did but there food was made by a different person, and they got much bigger portions than I did. Kind of frustrating, and I should have said something when they were making my food, but I didn't so I guess it's partially my own fault.

Great little spot to get your burrito on! Sweet prices, huge portions, fresh & delicious ingredients. Added bonus of mix-in flavors like Teriyaki, BBQ & Caribbean if you so choose. Daily specials all come with fountain drink. I went in on a Wednesday & paid $8 & some change for a pork carnitas burrito bowl & 22 oz. Mt Dew off the fountain. Unlimited drink refills, fresh ingredients all set up for you to point & decide. Food is made before your eyes, choice of beef, chicken, shredded pork or my personal favorite: pork carnitas. Outside seating at sidewalk tables is gorgeous in summer.

Tasty burritos but almost 7 pound for a large and portion sizes of what they put in it are not generous. I got a vegetarian and asked for extra veggies (peppers beans in sauce) but was told it was an extra 2 pound! I just bought a pack of 6 peppers for 1.20p not sure why it was 2pound to get a little extra peppers in a burrito. Overall love the burritos though but due to the price would not go there a lot.

Had a burrito with their smoked chicken. The chicken was extremely flavorful and the burrito was huge. Much better than the well known national chains.

This was the first time I went and it was awesome everyone was super welcoming and very nice very easy to see exactly what you get and want i was there fir 15 mins and each minute I felt very well taken care of. I definitly will be back!!
