Amazing service! Incredibly fast, delicious, super fresh. I really loved it as a quick lunch while exploring the city. The location is also great, right next to the St. Paul's Cathedral. 10/10!

Bland, overpriced, and cold staff

Staff don’t give receipt until asked for. Food was normal. The person who prepared the fill falafel container was nice and courteous.

Very friendly and fast service. We appreciated the recommendations from the menu. The food was healthy and delicious. The meal was a very affordable option for a quick dinner, and despite being a takeaway store had a very warm and cosy interior as a respite from the cold.

Went on Friday evening, the falafels were delicious and Marina was very friendly and explained everything very clearly and calmly. Will 100% come back!

Falafel heaven! Crunchy on the outside soft and well cooked on the inside. Generous portions. Great salad bar. Make your own or choose one of the favourites and add fillings of a boiled egg or artichokes or aubergine or artichokes. Lunch times can be hectic but queues move quickly - service and the staff are helpful and super friendly!

종업원이 정말 친절했습니다. 영어도 잘 못하고 메뉴도 어색했지만 친절하게 잘 설명해줬습니다! 기본으로 시켜서 먹었는데 제 입맛에는 셨지만, 이를 즐기신다면 좋을 것 같습니다. 서브웨이 상위호환 느낌? 저도 다시 간다면 입맛에 맞게 더 맛있게 먹을 수 있을 것 같습니다. 가성비 괜찮고, 가게도 넓고 혼밥하기도 좋습니다. 재료가 신선했어요!

This was my favorite meal in London. I think this will make some people mad but it's exactly what I wanted that day. A good salad adjacent meal with some of the best falafel I've had. My partner hates falafel and she even liked these ones. I'm glad we ordered extra falafel on the side.

Main meal with extra topping, brown bread pitta and a can of drink for £10. Better quality and much more heathier than the local fast food restaurants. Ate late in the evening but very happy to have found it and will definitely go again.

Second time eating at Pilpel, first time was at the Commercial Road branch and it did not disappoint, not sure why I haven't eaten.more.times, perhaps as they don't have enough branches spread out in London. This particular branch was excellent as the other. Great customer service, quick and friendly. The good is amazing, everything from the falafel, aubergine to the salads, the sauces and tahini and the portions are generous and lets not forget the lovely and cute pitta bread they give. Food is vegan and healthy. We need more of this type of fast food rather than the typical fried wings, burgers and chips. Good price and very filling, dinner after work was sorted. Highly recommended and would come back again and again to eat here.

Pilpel has been around for a while and the food is still as delicious as it has always been. No drop in standards at all like you see with other chains. I love the falafel and pita here. Friendly staff too.

I love this chain. The food is cheap and they give you such a large amount of it! The falafels are always fresh and they even give you one when you’re waiting in the queue- such a tasty little snack.

Leider war das Original-Fladenbrot schon aus, es gab ersatzweise eine fluffige Soft-Variante, daher aber leider nicht knusprig. Falafel selbst absolut topp, geschmacklich ausgezeichnet und von der Menge her eine ordentliche Portion. Keine Wartezeit, sehr freundlicher Service.

Best falafel in London? Probably. Amazing value, delicious falafel and extras. Service is wicked fast and they often give you a free tahini dipped falafel in the queue. Does feel a little bit fast food like in terms of atmosphere and isn't great for sitting in because there's not many tables and the music is stupid loud. However this is a place for people working in the area to get a great lunch to take back to the office and this is the epitome of that.

Regularly visit this place for lunch. The food and service is great. Staff are nice and friendly. It is nice that they always offer you to try their falafel while they are making your order. The falafel is always fresh and tastes great. They have good selection of salads and sauces too. Overall a great place for falafel.

Amazing, filling food but defo not ideal if you want to have a relaxing lunch break in the city as there’s gonna be very loud music, bell ringing and you’ll get out smelling of fried food yourself.

I popped in at lunch the queue was incredibly long. I could see the workers clarely struggling to serve customers, whilst the manager is putting pressure on them and singing along to the incredibly loud music. Dear workers! I'm sure you can find a better job than that! Yalla yalla...

Going through the reviews everyone seems to enjoy their food hence probably it is my taste what the problem is. In general I like falafel but this one just did not meet with my expectations. Also the cheering vibe during rush hour and loud music were not my thing at all. The lady giving free samples of falafel in the queue was a nice touch though. From time to time one of the cashier shook a bell and everyone cheered sorry but it was too much. Falafel was dry and not much of taste. Big portion but it just did not get me. It will not be my favourite place for sure. Try it and decide. Also you tell them what you would like to have and what else you want as an extra added to your pita or falafel box but you pay at somewhere else not there where you get the food from. Hence you have to explain them what you are having or they try to figure out and there may be mistakes like I was charged for extra Aubergine that was originally included in my box.

Its a go to lunch / after school snavk for my boys who are at CLSB, even for us whenever we are around St. Paul’s, and being vegetarians its one of the best option, easy to pocket and they serve best falafel in city. We always found staff so nice and friendly, and falafel delicious what else to ask for

I loved the vibe! Me and my friend, we were for the first time here and we were a bit confused, guys working there called us to try falafel and explained how it works. They catched us into their web 😁 Food really tasty and fresh. Not expensive for what you get and you have a lot of food to digest. Good job, like really good job to a friendly staff and for taking care of customers and the shop. 👏

My favourite falafel brand in London. The pitta falafel is delicious with a great selection of toppings included. I find it's often very busy at lunch but the queues go very fast thanks to their efficiency. I'd highly recommend Pilpel for anyone who likes falafel. They also do bowls too, not just pittas.

Falafel deep fried to death is not tasty and simply not right. The salad, of which the lettuce was soggy, was pretty tasteless too. Hummus looked nice and smooth but was again a bit bland. Wont be going back

The best falafels in town! Oh my god! Literally the freshest of the freshest and they’re so delicious too! You really can’t fault them! Super fast service, fresh and delicious food! They even give you a falafel whilst you’re waiting! The best falafels you could get in St Paul’s! I miss working in the office just because of the takeaway we could get from here! Can’t wait to be back! This time I got this as a takeaway to have at home for dinner! I’d definitely recommend this place to everyone! I’ll definitely be back!!!
