A kitchen and a family place, such a pleasant culinary moment... to really discover

Long overdue review. We were stuck in London overnight and decided to venture into the city to have dinner and we chose Al-Waha. We are so happy we did. The staff is so friendly, we really felt at home. And the plants… the plants everywhere are so amazing and lovely. I love that they keep propagating them, it just makes the space feel so welcoming. Ok - and the food. The food was excellent! I had such a nice sea bass, I’ve never had a sauce like that. I ate the whole thing even though I wasn’t feeling hungry after a full day of flying. I also needed a copy of our receipt which we misplaced and they were able to send it to me. Top notch, highly recommend.

A very nice restaurant, delicious food and lovely service. Yasser and his colleagues are excellent at welcoming guests. Service is efficient and everyone was very kind, including other customers because Yasser’s warm sense of humour and the amazing food puts everyone immediately in a great mood.

We prebooked for7.30 on a Sat night and had a quiet table for two with a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive, had a nice humour and gently helping with menu selections. The food was wonderful, we had the meze, selecting 6 dishes which was enough for two. It also came with fresh crudités and olives and plenty of Lebanese bread with the meal. Good wine. I'd definitely go again.

Food is so fresh and authentic! The lamb yoghurt dish was a new taste to us and the grilled chicken was very juicy!! The staff are absolutely fantastic and so humorous, we loved it all. They also give free things like the salad and the little pastries!!

The Mezze options are all delicious, service is excellent. This was our second time coming and it won’t be our last!

I had an amazing dinner at Al Waha. I took the hummus with pine nuts, which I really loved, and then the mixed grill. The meat is really tasty and everything has very good flavour. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Really recommend it!

10/10 Lebanese food, great prices and super-friendly staff. Felt like eating a home-cooked meal, rather than dining in a pretentious restaurant. Would highly recommend and will for sure come back.

One of the best and most prestigious ancient Lebanese restaurants. The flavor in the food, God willing, is very delicious and the beautiful Lebanese atmosphere is a beautiful experience and a visit that will be repeated, God willing. Thank you to the staff.

Went on a date night with my friend and truly enjoyed the experience - the place, the service and the food was 5*. Would highly recommend and come back again. The baclava was heavenly and we even got a little top up.

The atmosphere was nice, and the staff were attentive and helpful - making sure that you were happy with your meal and that you had everything you needed. The food and wine were nice too.

We tried AlWaha on our first night in London. This is our first time to try Lebanese cuisine and everything was incredible! The spices were unique experience to us, but all of them were delicious. The hospitality was also amazing. Rakan was so kind to us that we could spend a comfortable time here :D

Falafels were delicious. Would also recommend the Farrouj Mussahab: a full baby chicken covered in a flavoursome lemon-and-herby buttery marinade, spatchcocked and chargrilled. We weren't as impressed with the mixed grill. The meat was tough and slightly lacking in flavour. Overall not bad but you can get much better Lebanese in this price range in London. Very friendly service, and relaxed atmosphere. Make you feel at home. Decor is nice and toilets very clean.

A real discovery. Cozy, clean and well-furnished restaurant with an intimate atmosphere. As soon as we arrived, Yasser welcomed us, kind and attentive, and offered us a vegetable dip. We took an exceptional mix of starters (beiruti hummus, fattoush and spicy potatoes) and on Yasser's recommendation a grilled chicken with garlic sauce (exquisite and abundant dish) and a mix of grilled meat. Typical Lebanese desserts and an excellent Italian espresso coffee concluded the sumptuous meal. Highly recommended!

We went to Grilandia, early New Year, so everything is still quiet quite. We weee looking for a small bite to eat, but unsure what to have. With the assistance of a wonderful server Hassan , who suggests a beautiful mix mezze. It was so good that we ended up, not only having the mezze but a main and a sweet. The food was well presented on-time, but more importantly delicious. We left stuffed, in a wonderful way, with the help of our amazing server Hassan. Thank you Recommended !

Lovely restaurant with friendly staff. Child friendly atmosphere and Yassin provided great service. Highly recommended and the food is great I had Seabass that was fresh and delicious.

We went to Al Waha and had the best Lebanese food ever! We were also tampered by our lovely waiter Yasser who helped us as well fully indulging into the Lebanese cuisine. We fully recommend Al Waha and hope that Yasser is your waiter as well.

An incredible culinary experience, the hummus with its bed of olive oil delighted my taste buds. Emulions of eggplant, grilled meat, chickpeas and Lebanese bread, all in a friendly atmosphere, I recommend.

Huge fan of this spot! Went last year on our trip to London and knew we had to come back this year. The food is spectacular, and it's a lovely, quiet atmosphere. The whole team is great, and Yasser is such a welcoming host. Cannot recommend enough.

In London for 4 nights. Ate here twice. Food outrageously good. Never eaten Lebanese food before. I am hooked! Fresh, delicious, Zingy flavours, beautifully presented. Generous portions and lovely sweet treats to take away after raving about the Baklava - I want to go back now! Charming hosts a truly wonderful experience.

In a town full of good Lebanese food, Al Waha is the best. The whole menu is amazing, and the staff will make you feel like you're in the warmest Arabic home. If you're lucky, Yasser will keep you laughing. There truly are not enough stars to rate this place highly enough.

I wanted to introduce my wife to Lebanese food as I have always enjoyed it. I am so pleased Al Waha was nearby, I cannot praise this restaurant enough. The service was wonderful, Warm, friendly and attentive. They helped us pick a mezze selection and the food was divine. If you are in the area I highly recommend making a booking!

The food was proper lebanese for sure! Babaghanous and the falafels were amazing (and this is coming from someone who does not really like falafel). The service was wonderful and we had an excellent recommendation for the wine from the waiter.

We decided to try AlWaha on our last night in London. We were staying in Notting Hill and were looking for a small, locally owned place for a quiet, casual dinner. It was wonderful. The gentlemen working there were so hospitable and wanted everyone to enjoy their dining experience. We felt so doted upon, and kept saying, if we lived there, we would dine at AlWaha all the time. And the food…. Oh my gosh!! Everything we ordered was so delicious!! 2 days later, we are still talking about the feta cheese salad and the Kafta with yogurt and pine nuts!!

In a sea of average Lebanese joints, this place really stands out! Great reviews for a reason - food was excellent from mezze to main, and you can’t ask for a better host than Yasser. Shukran

The most delicious meal. Well worth a visit. We asked for a tatung selection and were given a fantastic variety of mezze and meats, every single dish was delicious. They were easily able to cater to some of our requirements, and portions were very generous. Yasser provided amazing service, making some great suggestions.
