Lovely place for a date night. Me and my parter had a pizza each. The Chorizo and the Agrodolce goats cheese. Both really delicious. Staff were friendly and efficient. Love the decor and ambience of the place.
We stayed at the hotel and ate at Station Road whilst there. The tasting menu 'Mor' was really out reason for staying and it didn't disappoint (neither did the hotel!).
Started with a drink by the fire - a beautiful part of the hotel. Really excellent selection of drinks, nothing else you could possibly ask for. Great wine selection too, included a wide variety of British wines which is nice to see. The tasting menu started here too - with some small plates served. Creative cooking and tasty.
We went for the worldwide wine pairing menu and were served a varied and interesting variety throughout. The lady serving the wines (I think maybe the owner of the hotel) was very knowledgeable and friendly - talked us through each course and wine as they arrived.
The food was good, each course was different and interesting. Smoked eel and venison were delicious and stand outs for us - there was also some bread made freshly with grain native to the local areas, and the butters served with this were without a doubt some of the best I've ever tasted!
The speed of service we found a touch slow - although this is very much tied to the cadence of other diners so not really a criticism. Start to finish, we were over 3 hours - so a long meal. Portions were very small (the perils of a tasting menu) and we did end the meal a little peckish! The 'Beag' menu featured similar styles of cooking but focused around some larger main dishes.
Restaurant itself was beautiful, clearly a huge amount of attention to detail has gone into the whole experience.
No doubt about it, it was an expensive meal - but I feel not unreasonable for the quality of cooking. Given the location, some premium on pricing is to be expected.
One of the best dining experiences I've had in the North Central/East Highland, and in a beautiful part of the world. Fingers crossed for a star - well deserved for the whole team.
Great Sunday roast, loads of fresh vegetables and high quality meat. Lasagne also excellent. Friendly service and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend.
A very busy little cafe with a great menu. There was a wait when we got there so we just sat outside until a table became available. We weren't very hungry so we had tea and scones which I highly recommend. The raspberry and white came with fresh cream, jam and butter. I will definitely come back for brunch as everything looked delicious.
Always an experience but the thing you go for, the food, is always fab and at great prices too. Just the beef is not to my liking. Texture is odd. Other than that, delicious. Oh and it's cash only so go prepared.

We were very impressed with this restaurant, the food was delicious (especially the naan breads) and the portion size was generous. The waiter was really friendly and we felt comfortable in the restaurant. We would highly recommend and will be visiting again 🤩
This was a lovely place with really friendly and helpful staff . I’m surprised about the review about booking , it’s pretty obvious it would be a good idea to book on an island this small ! The food was superb , so fresh and well cooked . I can’t fault the place and will definitely be back . I’d recommend everyone go once if you are on the island . Yumm
My sister and I went for lunch yesterday to celebrate her birthday, the whole experience was 5*.
Staff and food were amazing. We both had the monkfish and king prawn green Thai curry with risotto rice , very tasty . Managed a dessert too !
Restaurant was almost full , tells you a lot .
