We were in the area to go and see the Moon exhibition at the town hall and asked a traffic warden for somewhere to get a hot drink (bitterly cold day). How lucky were we that he recommended this cafe? The food was delicious, as were the drinks and the staff were so helpful and happy to adapt to suit our needs. Unfortunately we didn't have the time to have a proper meal as we had timed tickets but the snacks we had were more than enough and the staff were happy to wrap up what we didn't have time to eat.
When in the area we would certainly go back and give ourselves enough time to enjoy the food properly and have a full meal.
We came across this gorgeous place whilst visiting Turtle. We only had tea and cake but it was lovely. There was a little wait but so what, we’re on holiday so a good time to chill. Would definitely recommend
I took my girlfriend here for my birthday and it was nothing short of the greatest day of my life (I have 3 children) bazza himself came to greet us he sang happy birthday to me I splooged in my pants at that moment then 4 kids cane and vaped in my face one was ginger and was having a peach ice tea vape and kept talking about a person called Ella I then drank 18 milkshakes and 463 chicken nuggets bazaars lovely wife lady bazza then came out to say hello and she made me question my marriage.
Bonnie wee cafe based in Stirling city centre with cosy decor, homely feel and Wifi. Service was quick, friendly and cheerful ! Only popped in for takeaway coffee and cakes today (Bourbon Brownie and Cinnamon Bun) for the hike up Ben Mieke. But I will definitely be back for brunch and pancakes another day (because I saw someone eating the banana pancake stack and it looked incredible!) Both cakes were absolutely delicious; the cinnamon bun was particularly tasty! And trust me as a coffee snob, I can definitely approve the divine Oat Latte ! Worth the visit and will definitely return again for more sweet treats and coffee in future.
We have been to Matlock many times but have only just found this lovely little cafe. My daughter and I called on this morning and sat outside, with her dog, overlooking the park. The coffee was lovely and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the Bakewell tart. Pleasant staff. Will definitely be calling in again on our next visit to Matlock
Not a bad breakfast but very overpriced I felt. No ability to change items on menu and charged a lot of money for drinks which should be included with breakfast in my opinion considering a much cheaper Wetherspoons opposite. Also a lot of dregs hang out in here which is another turn off
So glad I found this shop, I've been a repeat customer for several years now (both online and I've been known to travel almost an hour just to have a look/sniff to decide on new teas..) Sian has endless knowledge and a fascinating, understated passion for tea (ask her about her experiences in tea farming!) The prices are just right, the products are wonderful (I have had some seriously special and rare tea from here, eg. Gyokuro, and some white teas that even friends in Japan/Taiwan were impressed at me being able to source). I really can't praise this shop enough, online orders arrive very fast and well packed, and the drinks to take away are just divine. The only thing I'm missing out on is joining one of the tea tasting evenings, but I live in hope! To summarise; much, much more than "just" a coffee or tea shop- it's a curated experience of lots of unusual teas plus every other tea you could possibly enjoy (and coffees, but I haven't forayed into those) Oh and one last note- I am sceptical of herbal or fruity teas.. They are always disappointingly dusty, smell good but no flavour-BUT here, their house blends (such as "sleepy time") are so decent too. Proper fresh high quality ingredients blended with a real eye for results and flavour. Just, all round, the best shop!
We have been going into Rosie's for a few months now whilst my husband goes to the John Stephen's Sports Massage opposite.
Rosie is so polite, caring & kind. She remembers you from the last time you visited.
Her coffee's are the best & her food is freshly prepared.
Today, she gave me a taster of her homemade Tiramisu !! OMG, it was incredible.
Rosie & her lovely colleague look after you & are so welcoming.

We booked for a 3 night stay at the Dutchman recommended by a friend - we were not disappointed, we were made to feel so welcome after walking through the door , the nightly entertainment (Fri/Sat/Sun) excellent and the breakfast was just unbelievable- so much choice and so nicely cooked and presented - only down side was the small room ( but when I booked I was told it was a ‘budget double ‘ ) but that was all that was available - will definitely be back- thank you to all the team at the hotel you should be proud of yourselves
We ordered a dozen custard tarts for a small family celebration!
Antonio delivered them at 0930 Saturday morning as requested.
Everyone said how delicious they were and asked about Pastel de Nata. A real desert treat.
We have had them them in the past and will order them again in the not to distant future .
Antonio thank you , they were absolutely delicious and you are such a nice guy , cheers David and family
Definitely visit this restaurant!
We had a lovely mix of food. Don't be put off by the small menu, the dishes are authentic and delicious. Wonderful atmosphere, run by lovely folks.
Give it a go for something different to the usual chain restaurants. Will be going again soon and recommending it to friends.
Came to New Unity for the first time in a while and one of the biggest improvements is the new kitchen. Such amazing food, hadn’t really tried much Cypriot before and so glad i have now!! Such a range with vegan and veggie as well, would recommend for sure!
