The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Italian food

Lovely restaurant. Food is always cooked to a high standard and the staff are always very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend.

The restaurant is on a side street in Worthing and is expensive compared to other restaurants that are in better locations with higher rent. Terrible service at the time Sunday early evening 5pm we were the second couple and the other one left shortly after we sat down yet my friend had to ask the waitress to order who was busy chatting. The design of the restaurant means there are blind spots so the waitress should have popped her head around the corner to make eye contact. She did not bother. My pizza picante was Excellent however I did not have Tiramsu at £9,50 when most places charge £6 Donatello Brighton, Fratelli Worthing £6.95, £7.50 Mangiamo Worthing. Worthing is a tough market. There is plenty of money as there are many old codgers however they don't spend money in sufficient numbers on dining out. My friend wanted to bring another friend 82 plenty of money and spends lots on wine. My friend was so disappointed with Giuseppes he will not return with his affluent friend.

Fantastic customer service. The restaurant was busy with two large groups, so they offered us additional drinks which was great. So pleasing to see that they still understand the value of their customers.

I’ve been here a few times and normally can’t recommend it more but had a disappointing experience tonight. It took nearly 40 minutes for us just to get our drinks and we had to ask for cutlery when our pizzas arrived. It was quite disappointing as it was supposed to be a celebration and we had prebooked a table.

We eat here regularly and cannot recommend highly enough. Food is amazing and the welcome is always very warm. Fabulous limoncello.

No es genial. Tagliatelle estaba pegada y la boloñesa estaba tibia. Trajeron un reemplazo que era mejor y los boloñeses estaban calientes... ¿en microondas? Pagué en efectivo y no pudieron hacer el cambio así que 12. 5% de cargo por servicio más mantener el cambio. Ah, y la mesa de italianos a mi lado seguía saliendo a fumar y volvía apestando. No voy a volver.

Warm and friendly welcome, excellent service and a wonderful Italian meal. We enjoyed all the courses but the Arancini was spectacularly good! Highly recommend. The experience was only slightly marred by an extremely unpleasant single, male customer who, having consumed his lunch, tried interminably to lie his way out of paying for it. The staff dealt with him with endless patience, courtesy and professionalism and were subsequently warmly congratulated by all the other customers for the way in which they dealt with the matter. We would certainly visit again if we are back in Rochester at any time.

Always good food and good service. We had the meat balls and calamari both were really good. We both had the pollo Al horno. I’ve had it before and really loved it so husband really wanted to try it. I had mine with vegetables which came with potatoes broccoli and carrots with mozzarella cheese on it. Husband had chips with his. The chicken was cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce with tomatoes olives garlic asparagus. It was so good. I couldn’t finish my potatoes but husband finished them off with the left over sauce which was to die for. Can’t fault the food or the staff and we will definitely be back. The complimentary tequila was great.

Went with friends early evening and it was packed. Lovely vibe, great service, excellent food - couldn’t ask for more 😊😊

My first time at the osteria, waiters very polite, dealt with all our needs. Only things i would say is it was a good hour wait for our mains. And the restaurant should offer a pepper grinder per table to apply your own because mine was so heavily peppered i couldnt really taste my carbonara

Went to La Coppola last night with friends . Had an amazing evening , the interior is really something else . It’s an Italian masterpiece . From starters to mains the food was exceptional . 1st class food with a 1st class service . The staff are lovely and really attentive . Thankyou for a wonderful evening .

Food tastes good and the atmosphere was nice. A small group of us went early evening and enjoyed our visit. 1 thing to improve on. Staff need more comprehensive menu training as we had to translate some menu items into English as we got blank looks when using the menu names for the dishes.
