This is a wonderful restaurant in Broomhill. The service was fantastic—our server was kind, attentive and friendly. The staff were great with the kids, too. We had a mixture of vegan and gluten-free options. All were great. The gluten-free doughs were just as good as the regular dough. The children liked the kids’ menu, particularly the vegan vanilla ice cream! We had a 10% discount for signing up to their app. Thank you ☺️

Ate at the Proove in city centre and was very disappointed that they have no vegetarian cheese as standard, their mozzarella is not suitable for vegetarians. The only pizza option I had was with vegan cheese or with no cheese. Vegan cheese has a very specific taste that I don't enjoy. Extremely limited menu options for vegetarians so would not recommend this as a place to eat if you are vegetarian, very disappointing and surprising for a pizza restaurant. Service was great, poor rating is purely based on terrible vegetarian options.

Dreadful service from waitresses, one in particular looked like she really did not want to be here! One of our party of four had to wait both for his starter and main both of which arrived 5 minutes after the three of us had received ours. No apology for the delay at all. Given the huge number of eating places in that area they need to train staff on how to treat customers who pay their wages. Such a shame as the food was good when it arrived.

We order tonight and the food was cold, they didn't give us the drinks! For pizza dolce they give us the ingredients separate.Dough bites with no sauce, just dry......I am very disappointed!!!!!

We had takeaway pizzas from here last week and they were excellent. Freshly baked in a wood fired oven, lovely base and very tasty.

Nice pizza but waited ages to get it with no apology. When the food arrived it was staggered so we were all eating at different times. A simple apology would have put it right but absolutely nothing from the waitresses who we had to call over every time we needed serving. Nothing deducted from the bill and they still added service charge!

We were born in Italy and we’re picky about pizza but here we find our happiness everytime we come! Great pizza et not only, friendly staff and prices!

Had a great time! The lunch meal is really affordable, and the dough balls and the garlic oil was to die for! Really friendly service and got to watch all the pizzas get cooked in the pizza oven which was really cool too! Definitely coming back when I have the chance :)

Great pizzas. Friendly staff. Not overly expensive. Restaurant on two floors. They just need to lose the cardboard boxes piled up at the corner of the downstairs bar. Spoils slightly what would be an attractive area. On a revisit this has improved. The pizzas are an impressive size.

Had a fabulous lunch with my daughter here today. Despite not having a reservation, we were accommodated, served promptly and definitely the best pizza I've had in a while. We'll be back!

Food was ok, had the Calzone but the cheese could have been more melted. Also, remove the service charge. Pay your staff properly and put it on the food. We’re not America. It’s tough enough to eat out at the moment without paying over for ‘service’ for someone who could very well be on more money than your customers.

Loved everything, except the vegan cheese. I'm vegetarian, and love dairy cheese. The problem is that their normal cheese isn't vegetarian. The vegan cheese was not so great, but otherwise I can't fault anything whatsoever! Would I go back? If the cheese was vegetarian.

Came in for lunch and ordered pizzas and hot drinks. Food was absolutely delicious but I had to ask for a clean cup as it was full of dust. The waitress tried to tell me it was just scratched but did bring me a clean one. They also got my order wrong and had to remake it. After this we did not complain but did not wish to pay the service charge. We told the waitress this but she still presented us with the card machine with their suggested tip included. After we asked a second time for it to he removed it was however the staff were very rude about it.

Came late on Monday night. Food arrived quickly after ordering. Probably the best calzone I’ve had. Pizzas looked amazing as well. Homemade sauces were great. Really pleasant experience. Will definitely be coming back.

We had one bad experience with proove, however due to their fantastic customer service we returned and had a lovely dinner in the restaurant - pizzas came out quickly and service was good.

Great freshly made pizzas, simple salads and great, prompt service. Just what we needed after a long drive to Sheffield.

Unbelievably bland too expensive considering how flavorless. Balsamic vinegar was off the lowest quality too.

The food is amazing! We had bruschetta, pizza and cheesecake! The cheesecake was the creamiest cheesecake I've ever had, it was delicious. The service was great. Our waitress was friendly and always had a smile. The restaurant itself was warm and cozy. Lovely decor and relaxing atmosphere.

Good food, very slow service though and the place was empty at the time. 20 mins to be asked what drinks we wanted and then sat 30 mins waiting for dessert to arrive so just got up and left. (Had already paid) But the pizzas are good. So mixed review.

I have been here before and enjoyed everything about it. Unfortunately it seems to have turned into a Deliveroo pizza factory. Deliveroo orders seem to take precedence and we waited 90 minutes for 2 pizzas. We would have had desert and coffees but ran out of time. Various items on the menu were not available. The place was not busy as a restaurant but the staff were under pressure with takeaway pizzas. If that's the way the business is heading the management need to block off tables when the kitchen can't cope. We were not the only unhappy customers that evening.

Have been to Proove foryears now and absolutely love the place. The staff are friendly and most accommodating. The food is delicious. The cocktails and mocktails are refreshing and yet moorish (I can't get enough of them) Can recommend the calzone. It's a decent size so you might want to skip on the starter. Kids menu is fab, starter main and dessert. Deffo recommend. Keep up the great work 👍

I’ve been a loyal customer since day one. I’m so excited for the development in orchard square and it’s the only place that has perfected gluten free bases. It’s such a great family friendly place and my children love the kids menu which is fab value at £7 a head

Experienced take away Proove pizza at Art in the Gardens this weekend at their mobile takeaway pizza oven. Very disappointing pizza. Marguerita pizza had a tablespoon of tomato base and a minute amount of mozzarella cheese with a dried up basil leaf in the middle. Less than half of dough was covered. Dough quite nice although fairly tasteless and undercooked on the edge. Very disappointing. Definitely not worth £8.50!!!

Love everything about this place! They have a full vegan menu, we tried 2 of the starters, a main and a dessert, all were vegan and all were delicious! Really nice atmosphere here too and great service. The pizzas are 👌

Popped in for lunch yesterday. Excellent value lunch menu with good range of 10” pizza options, lovely side order of caprese salad (obviously superior quality mozzarella used) and drink, all for £10.90. Friendly service and when the pizza arrived it was sensational with delicious dough and lovely toppings. Will certainly be back again soon.

Should’ve been a nice night out with family, but let down by poor service and inconsistent food prep. We arrived at the restaurant, which was cool despite the time of year. Ordered drinks from waitress, which included coke with no ice. Same waitress brought drinks including glass full of ice for the Coke. Asked for a glass without ice.rather than give a fresh glass, she brought back the same glass with water still in it from the ice that had been emptied. We then waited a long time for our pizzas. While we waited, there was a steady stream of pizzas going out with delivery drivers. One driver appeared to have an issue, and our waitress got involved - bearing in mind the outside temperature, and obvious draught into the restaurant where 3 tables were occupied, she thought it was a good idea to hold open the entrance door for a couple of minutes talking to the driver! We waited some more time for our order. Eventually, 2 meals arrived. So we waited. A few minutes later, a third meal arrived, at which point we were told the final meal would be a few minutes longer. Delivery pizzas and takeaway orders continued to fly from the kitchen. By the time meal four arrived the other three meals were half eaten! Oh, and meal 3 & 4 were for the same pizza, yet the first had hardly any arrabbiata sauce, and the other had so much the base was soggy. My wife’s pizza base was so tough, she couldn’t cut it with the knife provided. Oh, haha, and then they include a 10% service charge on the bill. Any restaurant that cant get an order for 4 covers to the table at the same time should not be in business. This lot don't appear to care about dine-in customers. I recommend you don't waste time and money on finding that out ☹️👎

The pizzas here are nice, but the kids menu really spoiled our lunch. We visited as a group with two young children, both ordered pepperoni pizzas. The pepperoni was so spicy it was inedible to the kids and had made the pizzas so spicy they couldn’t eat them once it had been removed. Staff were nice about it and offered to make a new pizza, but the kids were put off and didn’t want to eat anything. Whilst my friend and I enjoyed our food, we were both quite miffed that staff wouldn’t have considered warning us that the pepperoni was spicy or using mild pepperoni for the kids menu. It seemed to be a bit of an oversight and not something I’ve experienced elsewhere.

I think this is what’s wrong with franchise restaurants. You don’t get the level of care and service as you get from independent ones. Waited for half hour for food although ordered appetisers, staff assumed that we wanted all food to go together. Only after half hour staff told me that the pizza was not available… One pizza came our cutleries was not given. Only came here because they have gluten free base but otherwise would have definitely gone elsewhere! Thumbs down

Nice spot to eat lunch in Broomhill. Be prepared for very thinly rolled pizza (in the middle) which can end up being quite messy. Really attentive and professional service.

Always love the dough and cheese here. Very authentic. However, the topping seems less than it used to be. We always had topping reach to the edge before. A bit disappointed as the pizza edge is very thick and blank

Best pizza in Sheffield! We love visiting Proove and today we collected pizza and it was equally fresh and tasty as it is when we eat in.

Average Pizza restaurant with average pizzas. Nothing special or above and beyond. If I were to compare this with Pizza Hut, Proove would lose. The Pizzas in my opinion were substandard. The food was just Ok, and to be honest I ordered A Vesivio and it hardly had any mozzarella on it, and I was hungry and didn't want to waste time asking the waitress to add more. Summary: Food 6/10 Customer service 6/10 Overall experience 6/10

Had a takeaway booked to collect at 7pm. Same story as last time and they didn't start preparing until I arrived at 6.55pm. Hanging around amongst the diners and outside, it was 7.25pm when it was collected. It had been paid for when ordering. The delivery drivers seemed to be in and out meanwhile.

Very satisfied with our order, I had olives as a starter,so tasty 😋 And my main dish was the diavalo Pizza, Nice and picant. Prove Pizza is only within 10min from the Sheffield University walking distance. Service Was friendly and very polite, and the price was affordable for everyone. Our experience in total --very satisfied. Highly recommended. Botanic garden is only about 10min walking distance from the Proove Pizza if you are fancy a relaxing walk after your meal.

Lovely atmosphere in beautiful surroundings. All the staff were polite and cheerful and quick to recommend different dishes. The pizza dough was divine and each pizza made to order. The oils to add to the pizza were delicious. Well recommended for an all round excellent meal.

Great service and atmosphere. Gluten free base was a bit gummy and dairy free cheese wasn't the best. Still tasted nice though and great that they cater for allergens.

Lovely pizzas and friendly staff. Service was a little slow the most recent time we visited. Most things can be made gluten free, however after eating here 3 times, the gluten-free bases differ dramatically from almost being like normal dough to being a little pants.

Excellent visit for early Friday evening supper with family including two young children. Food was excellent. Pizzas all delicious and our puddings were well received, particularly the Nocciola Cheesecake. Service was faultless, prompt delivery of all dishes and drinks and the staff were friendly, polite and attentive. Wonderful!

Our trip to Proove on Monday 20-Jun was great, with superb service, but left our reviewer wanting a little more to hit 5-stars. The staff were excellent. Service was with a broad smile, efficient and accurate and overall, this was a very good Italian pizza meal. Without doubt, this restaurant is organised, having a separate vegan menu is a real top notch idea. This is our second visit here and we just want to say we will be back, even though we have not awarded 5-stars. We had olives, Vegan Bruschetta and the Buratta to start which were very, very good. The Art Bert vegan pizza was amazing. The Calzone was good, but the folded dough on its edge was thicker than expected - sadly, we have had excellent Calzone elsewhere. We ordered a mozzarella salad for our gluten-free guest which Proove made specially. Proove has a great range of gluten-free choice, however, everything gluten-free, even a salad, comes with a polite warning that it may not be 100% gluten free. We understand the need for the staff to ensure risk is managed, but it seemed over the top, so our guest decided not to go for the gluten-free pizza after all. Thank you to the staff at Proove for a really enjoyable evening.

I'm sorry but the margherita needs to be better for the money! I added buffalo mozzarella for an extra £2.50 and there was literally a few smears on the pizza. I expected large hand torn shreds so sadly left disappointed. Also 2 basil leaves?!!

Nice atmosphere and friendly service. We ordered two pizzas and then the dessert pizza. The pizza itself tasted good and wasn't overwhelmed by sauce, only complaint was that it was impossible to use hands as the bottom was a bit soggy. Don't underestimate the spice of the Carni. We wanted strawberries and raspberries on the dessert pizza but they were out, so we switched up. Had to keep in mind that it was a half hour before closing so very understandable. I'd likely come again if I was bringing others that appreciated good pizza a little more than I do
