Really under rated! Definitely worth a visit

Insanely slow and the new menu is terrible - lacks any authenticity. 70 minutes in we’ve only had drinks Were the only people here

I love this place. A reduced choice menu of pizza and a pint for £12.99, wow, it’s cheaper than our local takeaway and so much nicer to be sat and served in a restaurant than at home. Pizza’s are delicious, freshly prepared and served quickly. The waiter is very obliging.

Service was a bit slow but polite. Clean. Nice food and lovely place to eat.

New menu is severely lacking, definitely more of a takeaway with tables than a proper restaurant now. Waiters didn't quite seem to know what they were doing and hovered for most of the meal + tried to take away plates before we had finished. Food was fine, but not what I expected given previous reviews.

Hidden Italian gem and highly recommended. We had a fantastic meal from shared starters, delicious homemade lasagna and sorbet with a good selection of wines or Italian larger on tap. The staff was excellent and even had the opportunity to meet the owner. We will see you very soon.

My pasta dish was lovely, but my partners pizza was not very nice at all, he was very disappointed. My son had garlic bread, which was very dry and bland, followed by spaghetti bolognaise which was bland and not very nice. He ate the past and left the bolognaise. We were very disappointed after readng such good reviews. We won't be returning I'm afraid

Failed to honour offers on website and on wall of restaurant. That's a scam and illegal. Had to pay full price for steak on Tuesday. Manager said offer was out of date but it's advertised in restaurant.

Had a lovely meal here! The staff were very friendly and the food was good! We had a burrata starter to share, the pasta on the specials board and a risotto and then a tiramisu to share for dessert. Decent portion sizes as well. Would happily come back. --------------------- We came back!! It was excellent again. We shared the arancini to start, I had canneloni for my main and we shared a chocolate souffle for dessert.

My parents booked this gem of a restaurant on South Road - my old stomping ground! It was a lovely evening with great food and service. Choice is varied from all the usual Italian choices - Lasagne, Pizza down to Lamb and roasted veg. Staff were extremely attentive but not fussing round you are the time. This was a bit of a trip down memory lane but I will certainly be going again

First visit here on 24th February and we were both very impressed. Everything was lovely, lots of seafood on my tagliatelle. 5/5

We’re real fans already after one visit: the welcome was warm and friendly, the decor is modern and includes some soft furnishings so the restaurant is quieter than many and we could hear each other, the tables are spaced carefully so you have a degree of privacy, there’s a good selection of music playing in the background (soft jazz while we were there), and the food’s just lovely. We shared a plate of really tasty arancini to start, properly crispy on the outside and served with a garlicky dressing, then Jenny moved on to an exceptional seafood pasta dish (generous amounts of fish, cockles and mussels and king prawns, not overloaded with pasta, and in a lightly spicy sauce). My choice was a delicious and creamy risotto, and we shared a side of potato and truffle mash. The wine list was a good one too.The dishes we had weren’t unusual but they were unusually well cooked and presented and we’re very clear we’ll be back again soon. Very highly recommended: we hope Leo’s thrives as it deserves to, especially after bravely opening for the first time as more than just a takeaway during the pandemic,

We have been meaning to try the restaurant as we have used the Leo’s for takeaway for some time. It didn’t disappoint great service, great food and good atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

An experience to forget. Made my telephone order at 7.30pm and was informed that it could be delivered in about 1hr. I accepted this.. arrived two and a half-hour later after several phone calls..food was begining to get cold and as far as the quality very poor. Not recommend.

From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent. We were greeted with warm welcomes and friendly smiles; it definitely felt very homely. As it was New Year’s, we had the wet menu, and it was delicious! A great price for some amazing quality. Nothing was too little to ask, and they were very kind and made some changes to the menu when asked I.e sauces without alcohol. A great little find and we can’t wait to visit again!

The owners have gone to a lot of trouble to make this a stylish, comfortable restaurant. It’s much nicer than initially appears from the outside. The service is lovely , warm and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. This place deserves to be much busier on a weekend evening - we walk past regularly and it has lots of customers in the week for their great specials . We ate the garlic bread with tomato (delicious) and shared pizzas and pasta all excellent- the only one criticism was the calzone with too stodgy and didn’t have enough of a tomato sauce so was dry .Lovely place in Walkley.

My wife and I visited Leo's on Saturday 29th of October. Our experience was absolutely amazing. We had a three course meal each. My wife had a large glass of rose wine and I had a diet coke and a jug of lemon water with our meal. We had a tridition Italian cheese and tomato garlic bread to share, I had pasta carbanora, my wife had cannelloni with a shared Italian mixed salad. We shared Italian made strawberry cheesecake with Italian ice cream. Finished with a Café latte for me and Italian Baileys coffee for my wife. The staff are absolutely amazing. The atmosphere in the restaurant is fantastic with cool, soft music. If you are wanting to experience authentic Italian food from Italy, Leo's is the place to go. I have give 5 out if 5 because that's maximum I can give on here but it deserves a 1000 stars. Please go and try Leo's, you will not be disappointed. I will be definitely going back to Leo's again. This Italian restaurant is a must ❤️

Disgusting. I threw up right after my food smelled disgusting and the beer WAS disgusting. The pasta that I ordered and my husband was horrible as if it was heated up multiple of times. I spent lots of money thinking this is a good restaurant for a night out. NEVER EVER AGAIN .

We went to Leo's for a friend's birthday and had an excellent time. Firstly, the service was really good. Drinks topped up, fresh cutlery, plates etc taken away and help with balloons too! I really enjoyed the fact they had a slightly more niche beer on top (Birra Morena). It's always a pleasure to try something new and keeps the experience authentic. The food was all excellent - in both taste and display. Came at an appropriate time (not too quick, not too slow), with fresh pepper and parmesan. All round a delicious meal - I thought I had a favourite Italian in Sheffield (Nonnas) but Leo's puts up some excellent competition! Will definitely be returning :)

Just visited, we’ve had takeaways from here during lockdown, which were spot on. Today we ate in the restaurant, the food was fab. We visited as a family, 2 veggie’s, 2 meat eaters and our granddaughter. We had a few requests when ordering which were dealt efficiently with without question. The food was fab, hot, fresh and very tasty. The staff were great, so friendly and obliging. We really enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend

We regularly visit Leo’s with our family and we love it every time. Food is always such a high quality, portion sizes are spot on and the service is friendly. We wouldn’t go anywhere else in Sheffield for an Italian.

I found myself travelling to Sheffield alone visiting my Father in hospital. I was staying in air b and b next door to Leo's so decided I would pop in there for something to eat to save walking to far alone. I'm so glad that I did... What a gem!! I was welcomed and was give a seat by the window. The restaurant was clean and staff were very attentive. They really could not do enough. I orded the sea bass and a side salad. Food came out in good time and was nice and hot. The food was excellent. Staff came over and had a chat when I finished and were all very kind to me. For a woman travelling alone I was extremely comfortable in this restaurant. I was even given a complementary glass of wine. I will definitely return on future visits to Sheffield. This is the second time we have eaten in at Leos and for the second time they did not disappoint. We came with our children and a family friend this time. The kids had been excited about coming all week and we had a really nice meal and a great time. The staff were super friendly and great with the kids. Really nice atmosphere. Totally recommend it.

I visited Leo's for the first time last night with my wife and our friend. We were greeted with a smile and had a fantastic experience. I had the ribs for starter which were amazing as they were delicious and very tender. My wife and friend had the salmon special for starter which they both enjoyed. For mains, we had a selection of pasta and pizza - the pizza was fantastic and home made, and the pasta was delicious. We had the tiramisu for dessert which was also home made and one of the best I have tasted. All of the food was reasonably priced and we had a brilliant time - we will definitely be back to visit this Walkley gem!

We called for a late table at the last minute and Taff was able to accommodate us. A fantastic meal: arancini and pasta with wine for less than £20 a head. All delicious and freshly prepared. Taff himself was entertaining - we would definitely go back. If we lived in Sheffield I feel sure this would be a regular.

The lady who took my order was courteous & pleasant. When I declined the garlic bread which comes free on orders over £35, she gave me one of the desserts I had ordered free. My order arrived on time by a friendly & pleasant delivery driver. My food was hot & cooked as requested. Overall an excellent service. Will definitely use them again.

Bruschetta and barbecue ribs for starters - both lovely. Spinach & Ricotta tortellini with boscaiola sauce - absolutely delicious. Thought we would treat ourselves to a takeaway , was told on the phone it was going to be about an hour 1 and half hours later and several phone calls later when I was promised it would be with me in ten minutes it eventually arrived , mussels were the only think in the order that was hot when it arrived the rest was cold , tasted nice but very cooled , did not bother to complain after the delivery issues as the lady on the phone started to take an attitude over me enquiry where delivery was , would expected alot better for an order of 54 pounds

Took 1hr30 to arrive - but somehow well worth the wait! We ordered takeaway on Saturday 24th October (been meaning to write this review all week), just to give it a try (the menu through the door worked). Mushroom and prawn starter and the meatballs followed by a pizza each. Took a little while to arrive but to be fair to them, they did warn us on the phone it would be 1hr30, when it arrived it did not disappoint! Some of the best Italian food I’ve eaten from a restaurant, and it was in my own home! Highly recommend. Though next time we’ll be getting it on a less busy day.

Great little set-up and a very nice restaurant. The chefs special lobster ravioli is amazing, I wish it was on the main menu! Service was great and would recommend if you are looking for a good Italian in the walkley area.
