Isabellas in Sheffield

The most wonderful night at Isabella’s! The restaurant had a great atmosphere, it was quite busy so there was a slight wait on food but it was 100% worth it! I could see the staff were so busy but still managed to be attentive to every table and kept making sure we were okay!

Delicious pasta and pizzas, good value for money, too bad the service is so long. We appreciated the nice commercial gesture at the end but we would have to employ more staff in the kitchen and in the dining room on Saturday evening.

Food felt overpriced for the portions. Meatballs were so dry and probably the worst we have tried. Ravioli was good. Arancini were nice but size was disappointing. Service was ok.

Wow! This amazing restaurant was a treat for my birthday. We visited on Saturday 28th September and the place was full. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and made sure we had a fantastic night. The food quality and presentation was 5 star. Credit to the two waitresses and the chef for all the hard work they did to ensure our stay was memorable. I would highly recommend this restaurant and it's hard to find a team of staff so attentive. Thank you so much!!!

Staff were lovely. Ravioli portion size wasn’t great - I think branding could be a little more inventive out the front as I had no idea it was Italian food! Overall worth a visit.

Visited Isabella’s Bar & Restaurant twice now, and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots! The service is always fantastic, with friendly and welcoming staff who really go above and beyond. The food is delicious, with a great variety of options, and the portion sizes are perfect. Both times, we were served quickly, and everything was fresh and full of flavor. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the bar adds a lovely touch for a relaxed evening. Plus, the location is perfect for a night out. Highly recommend!

Food would have been 5 stars but some dishes not available been many times and only 4 for atmosphere was v noisy but love the place !!!

Fantastic service and beautiful food and drinks. We had the baked mushroom starter, which was perfectly cooked with a gorgeous sauce (which is a good thing!), the margherita pizza, and the mushroom tagliatelle. All of it was delicious and really well priced. I also had the margherita, which was lovely. The service was immaculate - both Amys were lovely, and Amy N was particularly attentive. Love it here!

Candles, fairy lights, the loveliest staff and the BEST veggie food - always prepared fresh from scratch with delicious ingredients and always super-tasty! Our fave go-to for food. 100% recommend!

Highly recommend, me and my partner went, it’s such a nice atmosphere, the staff are lovely and very attentive, they refilled our wine when it was low which was a nice touch, the food is gorgeous and very reasonable priced

The service was friendly and overall fantastic. The food tasted fresh, had lovely presentation, and was delicious. Myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed our evening here and we would definitely come back again.

The food was really strongly average. Very poor quality bruschetta as a starter. The dried salmon was swimming in sour water. The steak was rubbery - a well done does not mean dry, rubbery meat. Drink glasses were sticky and disgusting as the waitress poured drinks going to our table. No disposable tissues on the table (only the main ones)! The fries weren't fried, but cooked. We gave a small tip, but was it worth it? We won't return to this place again but wish it luck though. :/ By the way, it's inappropriate when the waitress takes the bill from the table with the cash we left behind and checks the money in front of us... This can make customers feel like scammers for not paying for their food. :(

We visited on Sunday 19th May for my daughter's 23rd birthday and took advantage of the glorious weather by sitting outside. We were quickly attended to by a friendly member of staff who knew we'd booked for a special occasion and offered my daughter a complimentary cocktail! The excellent service continued throughout by this gentleman (sorry I can't remember his name) and the food served was absolutely delicious and excellent value for money. We even had an extra scallop because we shared the starter between the four of us, which was a lovely gesture. The portions are very generous (don't be fooled by my photo's - the plates are very large) and the bread twirls that accompany the bread and olive sharer are to die for! Thank you for making my daughter feel special and for our group photo complete with fir tree hat 😂❤️

The food and the cocktails are fantastic. Our waitress Amy was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble, service with a smile too. Would highly recommend this place and will be returning for sure!!

Stumbled on this place last night. Didn’t have a reservation but they were able to squeeze us in. Food was lovely, staff were brilliant and we had a great time. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended

We visited tonight for our Mums birthday and we had a wonderful meal. The food is just incredible, service and hosting was fantastic. We will definitely be returning and telling our friends and family about Isabella’s.

We have grown very fond of it here. Standards are reliable and shown time and time again. Service is attentive, especially Gianni. Love the seafood linguine and the wild mushroom risotto. Bruschetta is always so fresh and tasty. Bread and dips always a winner. Negronis always on point. Also a nice place for a cheeky day drink In the summer!

Eaten here several times both with family and as a couple - it's been great every time. The staff are always kind and friendly, the food is tasty and the vibe is very chilled.

Lovely authentic family meal would highly recommend! We are local residents and are lucky to have so many restaurants on our doorstep. However, having just dined at Isabella’s Italian restaurant, we felt that we should share what a wonderful and lovely experience it was. Straight from the beginning, the staff were extremely accommodating, they ensured that we were sat in a nice area and swiftly brought us a high chair for our daughter. The menu and food was great, there is so much choice and despite not having a children’s menu they offered us some alternative. They were extremely attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend it to anyone that visits Kelham Island and local families in the area.

Didn't eat here so can't comment on the food but the service is very friendly with reasonably priced drinks. Called back in at 11 for more drinks after we'd eaten elsewhere but they were closing, shame but i assumed this was down to the area being quite residential.

went here yesterday at 6pm, for some reason there was a dj which was way too loud for us. was abit confused as to why a dj was playing on a sunday evening as it sort of ruined the mood and atmosphere and it was hard to hear. asked if we could be seated upstairs to avoid the loud music and amy sorted out a table for us with a smile on her face and she made our entire evening such a pleasant one. she is clearly great at her role and we were glad to be served with someone who was so kind and helpful and understanding. really made the whole experience a lovely one. hope she gets the recognition she deserves

We visited Saturday 11th November, 9 friends booked a cocktail table for two hours followed by a meal in the restaurant, the venue, service, drinks and food was fantastic quality and really good value, we will definitely go back, we all had a really nice day and the venue is beautiful, staff all lovely, a real good find in Sheffield Kelham Island.

One of the best restaurants in Sheffield. Gorgeous decor, fast service, tasty food. Lots of variety in the menu and the team are always helpful in ensuring that everything is perfect throughout. Not my first visit and definitely won’t be my last. ☺️

Absolutely brilliant! This place deserves 5* and no less, we came for bottomless brunch yesterday & its by far the best I've been to. The food is beautiful & the drinks are amazing!! Says you’re open til 10pm. Twice in a Sunday I have tried to get a table (whilst you are actually taking food out infront of me) and your staff say you’re closed. It’s a joke. Put a sign out saying she. You stop serving. Just because I am one person doesn’t mean I don’t deserve food

We have visited Isabellas many times before and everything is always consistentlly fabulous. Delicious food from a very tasty menu, fabulous cocktails, amazing wine and great service always. The wine list is particularly good and staff have a great knowledge about the wines they sell. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere and a great place to go for dinner or just drinks. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely evening here. The restaurant upstairs is cosy and the staff are friendly. The portion sizes are generous and we felt like we got good value for money. My partner had the mushroom pasta which was delicious! I had the red pepper and goats cheese risotto which was quite disappointing as it was very bland. I would highly recommend the mushroom pasta as it is some of the best!

Really nice spot in Kelham Island. Food is of a really high quality with very generous portions. Service friendly and attentive. Definitely a place to try. Only issue was the smoky atmosphere in the restaurant from the kitchen which left our table with sore eyes and smelly clothes.

Was nice food for a baby shower event :) the homemade chips were lovely.

Went there for a family dinner, we have got a table book but when we got there we needed to wait for 20-30mins for our table because it wasn’t ready. When we got our table, we waited over an hour for the food due to short staffed, understandable but unacceptable honestly, cuz you could have told us earlier. Food was okay, staffs are nice and friendly, but I don’t think I would go again.

Great Italian restaurant, food was delicious and the eating area was trendy and interesting. Staff were lovely and the facilities were clean and tidy! In the photos are the Meat antipasti and the mains were the Diavolo pizza and Wild mushroom risotto. Absolutely delicious would definitely recommend!

A wonderful cosy bar and restaurant with absolutely phenomenal food. Massive thank you to the chefs for making excellent recommendations and being able to accommodate my dietary preferences. Also to the wonderful wait staff and bartenders for conversation and accommodation. Especially big thanks to Chef Sal, Wait staff Linda and Bartender Alysia Will definitely be back again and whole heartedly recommend, be sure to book in advance because man is it worth it!

Booked a table for my birthday, total disappointment:/ Although we booked the restaurant, couldn’t sit our reserved table, told that the restaurant was overcrowded due to a party. we could only sit at the bar and no notice of change was given before arrival. On top of such unwelcoming start, they couldn’t serve the starters we ordered again, kitchen was too busy! we had to order main courses… just to find out more bad surprises!! Risotto (l shall rather call it soup) was not edible at all. To be honest, worst risotto l ever had in my life. My friends had salmon and seafood pasta, again no one could finish the food. It was absolutely disheartening experience and l am sorry to say but TERRIBLE FOOD.

Beautiful place but doesn't cater for disabled I'm not in a wheelchair but struggle with stairs was told don't serve food downstairs after 5pm & disabled toilet is not in use as used for storage so I had to go to fat cat to use their toilet

Read really good reviews about here but left underwhelmed and a bit disappointed. We were waiting over half an hour before being and to order our food due to a back log in the kitchen. The stuffed pepper was meant to have lamb shoulder but instead was substituted for mince meat at the same price. The food was nice however but wouldn’t rush back.

We were meeting friends nearby so randomly found this restaurant, the great smells, tastes, presentation 😋 delightful. We will definitely return. The toilets were so clean, staff brilliant and the pricing was ok too

Well my partner got recommended this place from a friend and we are so glad that we went. The service was super friendly and polite, the food was cooked to perfection and delicious. Me and my partner have found our new favourite restaurant and we will definitely be coming back for more.

No better analogy to describe this place than "A diamond in the rough". Absolutely amazing food fit for a King (or Queen). Beautiful decor and such a great team of staff members. Couldn't be more friendly and helpful if they tried, 100% going to be a returning customer.

Last minute reservation as we have been trying to book this place for while. We were so excited to finally give it a go, but we were so disappointed. The service was terrible. We waited about 15 mins to order drinks, even after making eye contact with the waitress several times on an evening that wasn’t even busy. We then finally managed to catch someone’s attention. When drinks were empty we weren’t asked if we would like more. The food was very over priced for the basic meals we received. I don’t usually mind paying £14/15 for a meal. But for a bit of chicken with tinned tomatoes with a few spices thrown in just wasn’t for me. It was like there was no effort out into the dish at all. My partners meal was okay, but again, a bit pathetic for the price. Certainly won’t be returning

Kind and amazing staff, from the bouncer to the waitresses. They suggested me the Arrabbiata Pasta as vegan option. Perfectly cooked, tomato sauce super fresh. Great wine too! Highly recommended.

Visited recently for a bite to eat and a few drinks. We went on a Friday around 1pm and were the only people there. I think they had just opened as it was a little bit cold when we first sat down. The food was great though, really enjoyed it. We ordered a few bits to share (between 3 of us)... A meat antipasti board, pepperoni pizza and some garlic roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious, the pizza was done how I like it, crispy and not swimming in grease, and the potatoes were perfect! They have all the usual alcoholic drinks plus a few craft ales on tap, which is always a welcome addition. The staff were friendly and the prices are reasonable, plus dogs are allowed.. Which some may not approve of, but I do :) Definitely worth a visit and we'll be going again soon!

Absolutely loved it here! I booked this place for a company Christmas Party (sorry the review is a couple of weeks old) we had the upstairs area just for our party. The food and service was spot on! Best Italian restaurant we have been too in Sheffield by a mile! The service was really quick, we were a large party of 14, but all the food came out together and no one had to wait. The food was brilliant quality! The meatball starter was to die for! The staff didn't mind us staying in the area and they were great!! Booking a meal for a large party - this is the perfect place to do it!

Just stopped for drinks but had a lovely visit. Great service and very pleasant surroundings, will be back to eat.
