The best restaurants in United Kingdom

This was our first visit but unlikely to be our last. We visited for Sunday lunch as a last-minute decision. We phoned ahead & were lucky to get a table as booking is recommended. I had beef brisket, which was cooked to perfection & absolute "melt in the mouth". The accompanying vegetables were fresh & delicious. There was a great choice of desserts, with the option to have a trio of smaller portions if you couldn't decide. There's a good choice of drinks, both soft drinks and alcohol. The service matched the standards set by the food, with lovely friendly staff. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Stopped on route home, did not expect much but it was excellent. Pulled pork nacho according to daughter were delicious, jalapeños were a little little bit spicy. Hulk burger was rated 2nd best burger by my son, who lives for burger, only Honest Burger in Brighton was better according to him, this is a high accolade. I do have to agree my double cheese smash burger was lovely, and chips were Season to perfection. Do yourself a favour and visit this place, you’re not going to regret it. 2 burgers, 1 pulled pork nachos and chips all round was about £37. Food is cooked to order so do not expect a drive through experience like Maccies etc

Only stayed 1 night in the Gate House, we could have stayed longer. The house was very comfortable, everything we needed and very quiet. My daughter enjoyed watching the squirrels and pheasants running around the garden in the morning.

Ahora, un restaurante local bien establecido, el café produce constantemente comida pegajosa. El servicio es amable y el menú cambia a diario.El estacionamiento puede ser un fastidio, prueba hacia el garaje VW en el cruce. Para los ciclistas, está justo al lado del camino del río y hay un estante para bicicletas dedicado afuera

I picked this restaurant out as a new option for Sunday lunch near Ascot. It’s had the best reviews which set our expectations high . There was nothing to fault with the Sunday lunch, portions were generous and food was very nice. Service was also quick and amenable. It certainly appeared to be a popular place for locals and families. Would definitely come back

Sprout is such a gorgeous shop and cafe, with truly the friendliest loveliest staff. It always feels like an actual treat to visit this place! Such delicious food (I absolutely love their farinata!) and drinks from their cafe, and my favourite place to stock up on healthy, delicious, unique and staple ingredients and treats, including ones that can be tricky to find elsewhere. It's honestly a joy each time I visit Sprout, always brightens up my day, with its warm, friendly, community spirited atmosphere. So lucky to have this shop in Newquay! :)

Este pequeño salón de té (ahora conocido como Ashwell and Co) es una joya absoluta! Muchas gracias al equipo por acoger el té de la tarde más maravilloso para mi cumpleaños. Absolutamente todo era casero y tan delicioso! Había un par de nosotros con necesidades dietéticas especiales: soy vegano y uno de los participantes tiene necesidades médicas, lo que significa que están en una dieta limitada. Esto no desconcertó en absoluto al equipo: me proporcionaron un té vegano por la tarde y se esforzaron por incluir a la otra persona en mis celebraciones. El salón de té es parte de una tienda que está llena de la más maravillosa selección de ropa vintage y artículos para el hogar. Mientras estuve allí me compré un precioso cardigan de punto que es perfecto para los meses de otoño/invierno. Así que en general salí muy feliz y disfruté mi cumpleaños a fondo. Disfrute de un té por la tarde aquí - no se decepcionará!

Bueno... este lugar es especial, ¿no es así? Estuve en mi puerta durante bastante tiempo y sin embargo, recién lo encontré hoy, basta decir que la comida es bastante impresionante, he comido en muchos lugares durante 26 años adultos, pero esto fue, con mucho, uno de los mejores de ellos con los que me sorprendió, ya que no tenía idea de que estaba justo a mi lado: D Además de no haber bebido nunca té verde antes y como había una taza gratis con la comida la bebí esperando que fuera amarga, pero era muy agradable de hecho, así que no solo me introdujeron a la nueva comida, sino también a la nueva bebida. Volveré seguro. Recomiendo encarecidamente a otros probar su menú pequeño pero perfectamente hecho. Son un homenaje a la gastronomía independiente y a los alimentos artesanales familiares.

I decided to visit this coffee house whilst on a shopping trip today. Unfortunately the initial pleasant ambiance was ruined by a lady worker, shouting very aggressively at a young member of staff who looked very upset and shocked. She chose to reprimand him publicly without showing any concern for how that affected him, her other stuff and the experience of customers on the premises. Her unprofessional attitude and conduct was shocking to witness. I frequent many coffee houses and cafes across the town but absolutely nothing could encourage me to return here and I will advise friends and family of my poor experience of this place too.

A mi amiga le encanta el brunch, así que sabía que este era el lugar para llevarla después de haber probado esto yo mismo anteriormente. Pedimos buñuelos de maíz dulce, frijoles picantes, hachís morenos y un brioche de halloumi. Dios mío, esto no decepcionó. Delicioso! Luego pedimos un matcha latte con leche de coco y otro café. Me encanta el hecho de que hacen tés descafeinados también porque a veces se necesita una fijación de cafeína más ligera en lugar del shebang completo. Sé que estaremos allí de nuevo, juntos y por separado. ¡Gracias!

A gluten free , vegan BLT . Wow - delicious and has to be one of the best GF , Vegan sandwiches I’ve had . So difficult to find gluten and vegan free food that’s well prepared - this was amazing Very impressed.

Tuvimos un pequeño pescado con papas fritas y un pescado mediano con papas fritas. Las porciones eran grandes y bien cocidas y en cajas simplemente el mejor pescado con papas fritas que hemos comido y hemos probado mucho — en todo el país! Lástima que vivimos en Sheffield

Stumbled across lovely Dunure while camping in Ayr and popped in here to grab a coffee and a sandwich. We all absolutely loved it - great coffee, really good food and proper home made chips. All the staff were friendly and smiley, we felt really relaxed and left happy and well fed.
