Mahoe Blue Liverpool We visited this superb establishment, midweek (Wednesday 11 Sept’ 24’) I was celebrating my birthday in Liverpool & we fancied some Jamaican Cuisine & found this gem in Liverpool. The host Andrea (proprietor) was warm & welcoming & we felt at home immediately. She explained the history behind her establishment & this reflected in their decadent decor; “Their Journey” which was inspired by her Grandmother. We ordered an array of choices via menu; Curry Goat; Rice & Peas; Plantain; Jerk Chicken; Festivals; Homemade coleslaw; Rum Punch & Guinness Punch. What can I say but the food was authentic & tasted absolutely, magnificent. The rice was served in Calabash Bowls (natural coconut bowls) We shall surely be returning to this fabulous establishment; Mohoe Blue, (aptly named after The Blue Mahoe (Hibiscus Elatus) which is the national tree of Jamaica. If you are looking for an authentic Jamaican eatery in Liverpool, look no further than Mahoe Blue. (Husband & Wife duo) I can assure, you will not be disappointed.

This is a functional cafe, it has no charm but the tea and cake were fine. They use paper cups with plastic tops which I was not impressed with. So I would not visit again until this has changed. Staff were grumpy.

Mi esposa, su primo y yo comimos en el restaurante Regency (parte del DoubleTree Hilton en South Kensington) el 8 de abril de 2017.La zona del restaurante ofrece un buffet de desayuno muy bueno en las mañanas - gratis para los huéspedes del hotel Doubletree.Para la cena en el Regency, el servicio era excelente (aunque un poco lento en traer la comida, pero no importa, estábamos pasando un buen rato) y básicamente cerrado el restaurante (siendo la última gente allí). Entre los tres de nosotros tuvimos 2 8 onzas filete filetes (excelente, cocinado a la perfección en raras), 1 Cajún pollo especiado (primo de mi esposa, quien también tenía una orden de patatas fritas), una ensalada mixta para mi esposa y una ensalada césar de pollo para mí. Tres cervezas para mí y dos para el primo de mi esposa (mi esposa tomar vino) en conjunto ascendió a 136 libras. No está mal, teniendo en cuenta que era comida de alta calidad, y mucho.La zona del bar está muy bien - parte de la Regencia, pero se abre al vestíbulo del hotel. Durante el día sin tomar una copa allí.Gracias!

If you want to taste real Jamaican food then this is your place, we travel form Nuneaton boarder Leicestershire for this food because nowhere else is the same. Everything on the menu is a must try. My favourite thought the soup mmm mmm mm. Thank-you from a customer who been coming since you opened. Only thing I would advise is get your order in as they sell the soup real fast . The curry is also a must try . Anjai and Jason.

Food never disappoints. So delicious. Can’t decide on the best dish but special shout-out to the roti!

On the 26.09.21 i was inside the club for little over a hour and asked for permission to leave which was authorised by one of the security team as I came back another security worker who was black and short in height with a low fade haircut approached my friend from behind around the neck area, and manhandled her and dragged her cup out of her hand with no verbal communication, that something was wrong I was absolutely shocked. I have never seen such a horrid action take place in such a way. I was speechless initially he then turned his attention to me shouting I’m no longer getting inside the club and as I tried to understand why and under what grounds he continued to go back and forth with no explanation as to why however bragging about his “£50k salary” and that I should put “£50k food on the the table for his kids” The verbal abuse and embarrassment was completely uncalled for and out of order. So unprofessional and disgusting behaviour. I don’t usually write reviews however I just want to give the heads up for the next female target he may choose at the Interludee Cocktail Bar.

Discovered this place on a bike ride with my son during COVID-19 lockdown easing and we've been back almost every weekend. Can't beat sitting in the beer garden looking out over the sea and the two barmaids are really friendly (and cute!!). If you go then try the nacho's with a pint whilst sitting in the sun.

Flavour lovely but could not eat the mutton as was all fat and bone no meat. Fritters greasy chicken patty ok. Dissapointed as not what the food rated on insthram. However would try again as the flavour was good so would chance again incade it was just a bad batch that day. Last but not least youn guy serving asked me three tome what i wanted charged me and forgot my plantain ☹️

I really wanted to like it, but it was average at best So many bone splinters and fragments in my jerk chicken. Rice is just rice. Actual taste itself was nice. Excessive use of the microwave. You could hear it pinging constantly. I just won’t order again. It’s not the place you’d go back too. If your black British and grew up eating it you might like it. I doubt many white folk would order again. Not exceptional enough

Este es un lugar encantador para disfrutar de un café o una cerveza o vino, uno de los pocos bares café buena real en Londres. No es del todo un pub como tope, pero tampoco es todo como una cafetería que prim cierra a las 4:00 pm. Tiene algo de buena música, un maravilloso y relajado ambiente y algunas cervezas, dulces orgánicos. Es también independiente y algunos de sus beneficios reinvests. Sin duda un lugar especial.

Disgusting wouldn’t allow my child to use that toilet! She even had the cheek to look us up and down to take a look at us as if to say no chance! My child has additional needs and a weak bladder. She said if I brought something she would allow it I didn’t have cash she didn’t want to take a card payment for a can of pop! Terrible definitely won’t eat here ever now

Se señaló en la reserva que un miembro del partido tenía alergia grave a los frutos secos. Al llegar al lugar, varios miembros del personal se acercaron a la mesa para discutir mi alergia. Me dijeron que el menú principal no tenía nueces, pero algunos postres contienen nueces. Tuvimos una comida encantadora, y me sentí seguro de que lo que estaba comiendo estaba libre de nueces. Era mi cumpleaños, y se compró un pequeño pastel. (Muy buen toque) Comprobé con un empleado si el pastel contenía nueces y dijeron que no, que era solo chocolate. Puse mi cuchara en el postre, y encontré avellanas. Por suerte no comí nada del postre, inmediatamente informamos al personal que se llevó el plato. No sentí que esto se tomara en serio en absoluto, y las implicaciones en lo que podría haber sucedido. Tengo una alergia severa a los frutos secos, si hubiera comido solo una cucharada pequeña del postre habría entrado en anafilaxia. Llevo epipens que tendría que haber administrado, y habría tenido que llamar inmediatamente a una ambulancia. Una alergia a los frutos secos es una condición severa y la mía es potencialmente mortal. Me decepcionó mucho esta experiencia, pero también la forma en que se manejó después, y la falta de educación sobre lo que podría haber terminado matándome esencialmente. No recomendaría a nadie comer aquí con una alergia severa.

Gran servicio muy buena comida asientos estaba arriba limpio buena opción de comida de música tuvimos el tarro y tazón de arroz la cabra al curry tazón de arroz y alitas de barbacoa era de buena calidad sabrosos precios razonables sin duda volvería
