Had a late Sunday lunch here. Partner and I shared a combo platter (2 starters, choice of 6 mains, 3 dumplings, and 2 juices), which was delicious and great value. The peanut stew and the soya chunk stew were reall stand-outs, as was the spinach dumpling. Service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommend!

Shocking food & service this place needs to be avoided at all costs, the standard of hygiene also leaves a lot to be desired

This restaurant or should I say Rastaurant has moved from Rye Lane Peckham to The Blue Bermondsey Market 9a Market Pl, London SE16 3UQ.. It's a must visit place if you're looking for 💯 vegan food . Caribbean flavours and fresh vegetables. Healthy wholesome food with a great atmosphere. Juices, stews, dumplings, desserts and good ambiance. On a good day you can get great advice on vegan healthy eating and cooking tips. Overall there aren't many places where you get to conversate with the owner or even a chef.

I have NOTHING bad to say about this place. I came here a few days ago and stopped at the first appetising place my eyes met with, and BOY, this place did not disappoint. I asked the man who was serving to 'Please make me something tasty' as I was in a rush and was spoilt for choice reading the menu. He did just as I asked and I was not disappointed, in fact, I was satisfied for hourssss (And I am usually thinking about food all day). The service from the man in the shop was flawless. If I lived closer, I would be there most days, nevertheless, I WILL be back!

Nice little Carribean place, cheap and with lovely staff. I also noticed it was spotlessly clean, and the cakes on the counter were covered in clingfilm, unlike most places which leave them exposed to the coughs and sneezes of queueing customers.

Tasty veg food! I had two mixes of a stew, along with three fried dumplings. Not the MOST flavourful food I’ve had but definitely tasty, with a slight kick. Generous portions for the cheap price and cheerful staff. Would definitely swing by again if in the area.

You will never regret coming to this food heaven. The dishes change daily and are always healthy and tasty and make you feel warmly nourished. Service is flawless with lots of nice conversation. I genuinely feel sorry for anyone in London who hasn't had this experience! 11/10 🏅

This is the place where you lose your prejudice about vegan food. The dishes are fantastically tasty & imaginative. The stews are what I go for, especially the one with soya chunks in it & the peanut one, oh, and the one with chickpea & potato...oh, actually all of it is great. Dumplings are on offer too but this would take me over the top as helping are generous. Nothing is overtly spicy but if you want it, ask for Mr Ras's chilli sauce. It's insanely good & I usually keep some in my fridge at home. I always notice how spotlessly clean the place is, I mean, it's literally polished. The staff are lovely too. The always elegantly dressed Mr. Ras (not sure what his name is, must ask him) has this amazing air of peace about him & it's great to speak with him, he's very philosophical. Never had less than an excellent meal, so highly recommended. With places like this, you don't need meat. One love.

Firstly, the staff here is SO friendly and warm. It feels like a home environment here. And the owner is SO SO KIND! You can tell he loves his food, and it’s all home cooked, and he takes the time to tell you all the different dishes. Onto the food, which IS DELICIOUS! The chickpea stew was fabulous. The rice with sweet potato and the other curries were divine. My favs were also the soya chunk stew, and the best part- the DUMPLINGS. They were like little donuts, but savory, and there’s different flavors. I forgot one of them I had, but the other was spinach. It was all incredible, in such a warm environment. I will be sure to be back next time I’m in London!

I would have liked to eat here but the staff - including the chef - refused to tell me which dishes have soya, instead insisting that everything there was made with soya sauce. There was a tray of chips on offer, for pete's sake! When I pressed for more detail, they then said that even if everything wasn't made with soya sauce there could be cross-contamination. When I said that traces weren't an issue for me, they still refused to tell me what food had soya sauce and what didn't. Not kind AT ALL to turn away hungry pregnant women in this antagonistic way. There are many fine Caribbean eateries in Southeast London where you can get delicious home cooking and better service; the area is not short on alternatives.

Wanted to love more but although I will return, Im hopng it would be better. Most food was on time, some slower orders due to mix up, but still enjoyed our time together here. I dont blame, it just did not satisfy but work local some time when needed so would return with colleagues. Staff reasonable , but expected them to go that extra mile.

Stopped for coffee at 2pm on a Sunday. Lovely cafe with great selection and amazing service from friendly staff. Kitchen was strangely closed by 2.30 so enjoyed a brilliant latte. The table next to us had a toastie delivered just as I picked up the menu which looked amazing! All to-go food was situated in an open space which meant it was not allergy friendly - they may have had other options in the back but in a place so small it wasn't worth the risk for me. Would definitely go back for coffee!
