Leones in Greenwich

I had heard so many good things about leones so am pretty gutted to say tonight my order arrived and it was wrong/overcooked and wedges that were undercooked - the chicken wings were pink inside still ordered a ham and cheese sandwich that arrived covered in cheese

I have eaten there multiple times! The salted beef is excellent, but it should be, as this is one of the main items of their business. You get organic sourdough bread which tastes excellent! So all the sandwiches you get there are made of excellent bread of choice, my favourite is the above mentioned sourdough bread. It seems a bit trendy to eat sourdough bread, but I grew up with it, so it is nice to know where you can get such a sandwich. Sadly their opening hours are a bit inconvenient, especially over the weekend. I would love to get my lunch there from time to time, but they seem to be focussing more on the evenings, so I am out of luck nearly every day at work. Apart from that they serve excellent food ad very good prices!

Great order the first time and then it turned bad. Two orders wrong and two orders where extras were ordered and not received and I was not compensated for the items I did not get. Instead was offered a free meal next time...not been available to order for between 6 and 8 weeks and no way of leaving a message on their answer service and they are never there to pick up. Their actions speak for themselves...will not recommend this place to anyone. Shame, because when it was right the first time, it was very nice food

I was on business for a night staying at the Premier Inn in Sidcup, London and did some research the night before into where I could eat. I found Leone's online and the menu looked terrific. So without hesitation I gave Leone's a visit the following night and boy, was I not disappointed! I had the Rueben meal - an incredible Salt Beef sandwich with Chunky Fries. Absolutely lovely, and a very fair price (£4.95 + drink, though the owner let me exchange the drink for a chocolate brownie so I could go back to the digs and have my meal with a cup of tea!). Wonderful place, I wish I could work nearby there more often to get through the rest of that terrific menu!

Nice and tidy little place serving proper food in the price of frozen junk. Made fresh to order and really tasty, well combined and presented. Didn't wait long, had a good chat, got well fed! Will be back, want to try more. Well done Leones

I'm addicted to their BBQ pulled beef brisket which comes as a meal for less than £5. They don't sell chips but their wedges are amazing. Great quality and great service. Would definitely recommend.

I work nearby to this fairly new eatery, A good place to eat. You have to wait as everything they do is freshly cooked. Be patient and you will enjoy.

Nice refreshing change of a place.len the boss who runs it has a passion for his food. Different types of meat fillings all delicious.had a couple of parties and Len made the buffets.both excellent especially his wife's meatballs and spaghetti !, good value and big fillings. Try it.
