Had dinner here previously with a friend and came back on saturday with my girlfriend - Food was impeccable - received great service from Daniel who gave us great recommendations such as the prawn chicharron and cheesecake!

It’s nice to see that Gaucho continues to provide excellent service and food. We always come here before seeing a performance at the O2 and we always receive the best service. My only disappointment was that the humitas was not on the menu. Our waiter did say that it should be on the new season menu-let’s hope so.

Arrived with a party of 8. 3 of the party could not eat anything due to allergies, dietary restrictions which was very disappointing. As I have been to many restaurants and the chef has always been able to cook something else. Others in the party enjoyed the food. Waiter was very attentative to the group. 2025 I would have expected some alternative for customers with allergies. Something the owners could look into. I didn't get to try the food. But others in the party enjoyed their meal.

Fantastic Food, Absolute Shambles of a Restaurant – Treated Like an Inconvenience, Not a Guest Let me be crystal clear: the food at Gaucho O2 was great. But the way this place is run? A complete and utter joke. What should’ve been a nice dinner turned into a chaotic, aggravating mess because the staff — and particularly the manager — have zero grasp of customer care or how basic hospitality works. Booked a table for 5:30pm. Due to heavy, unforeseeable traffic, we were delayed. At 5:25pm, I responded to their message confirming we were still coming. No option to call the restaurant directly (because apparently, being a high-end chain means hiding behind a generic customer service line). Still, I did my part and let them know. We arrived 50 minutes late. Not ideal, but I confirmed I was on my way. Instead of holding the table — which was mine for 1 hour and 45 minutes — they gave it away. No apology. No ownership. Just a smug manager telling me they had to seat “guests who arrived on time.” Oh really? So despite my confirmation, you reward punctuality by screwing over paying guests who actually bothered to let you know they were coming? Then they made us wait another 30+ minutes for a new table — one that still wasn’t ready when they said it would be. All this while I stood watching others dine comfortably at a table that should have been mine. The absolute audacity. I explained (calmly at first) that in any decent restaurant, if a guest confirms they’re coming — even late — the table is held, especially when there’s still time left to dine. I could have comfortably finished within the original booking window. But that didn’t matter. All I got was attitude and deflection. They tried to twist it around like I was at fault. No. I confirmed. You gave my table away. That’s on you. We were finally seated at 7pm. Finished by 7:45pm. Quick, smooth meal — proving exactly what I said. But by then, the evening had already been soured by sheer incompetence and arrogance. I’ve eaten all over the world — high-end, low-key, and everything in between — and I’ve never been treated this poorly for simply running late due to traffic. Especially after confirming I was coming. Gaucho O2 needs to get over itself. Fancy décor and good steak don’t make up for sloppy operations and a manager who clearly thinks he’s above being accountable. I wouldn’t go back if the meal was free.

Walked in and was given a table, even on an event day. Staff service was excellent. The food was very tasty and the wine complimented the food very well. Pricy, but you get what you pay for. Would recommend if you’re at a show/event at the O2, just make sure you have at least £150 before you start.

Wow, first time at Gauchos for a few years and has really gone downhill. Visited Sunday just gone. My wife’s pasta had a piece of plastic in it (resolved fairly by the waitress and manager) but most disappointingly the steak was so so average. Eating a pretty cheap supermarket steak I’ve just cooked and is far more flavourful. Really poor atmosphere too, saw two big arguments between customers and staff whilst we were eating. Staff were all friendly and attentive.

Gauchos is my favourite restaurant and O2 is my favourite Gauchos, but recently I invited 4 other friends to dinner one of them for the first time. I explained the setting of the restaurant, showed her pictures of past dinners there and set the scene, to my disappointment, I arrived to find that the reception area downstairs had been turned into the restaurant. Not an overflow, but the actual restaurant. I'm guessing the idea is that if the people outside can see a full restaurant through those big glass surround windows, they will be tempted to come in. For the diners, it is a terrible experience, I understand how a goldfish feels in a bowl. My guest were uncomfortable and we moved tables twice, our waiter Guisepe was brilliant, however it was the first time I couldn't finish my meal as the experience wasn't the best. Please return Gauchos to its former glory with its private dining, as it is now it is the same a Las Iguanas but much more expensive.

La comida era genial y el servicio al principio era genial, pero cuando casi terminamos nuestra comida el servicio se volvió malo porque esperamos 20 minutos antes de que el camarero viniera a despejar la mesa, entonces 5 minutos después vino una señora diferente y nos dio el menú de postres y hemos estado esperando desde entonces a que alguien viniera y tomar nuestra orden. Tenemos una hija de 5 años con nosotros y se está poniendo impaciente y fría como estamos sentados junto a la puerta que está en uso constante y seguimos recibiendo una corriente de frío en nuestro camino. ¡Esta es la peor experiencia! ¡No volverás!

I really enjoy steaks and burgers, so that’s exactly what we ordered. We received exactly that! The service was outstanding, and you can sense the pride the staff has in their brand. I must admit that the steak and burger weren't the best I've ever had; I would rate them four stars out of five. I gave the atmosphere only two stars since the restaurant is rather dark. While some might view it as romantic, it's simply not my preference—a personal taste, of course.

What a time we had at Gaucho. It has a buzzing energy to it as soon as you walk through the door. We were seated on the second floor and the atmosphere was incredible. Our waiter was called Ash and was very friendly, giving us a detailed run down on all the different types of steak they offer. The whole experience was to die for. Our starters were exceptional, but the party piece was the main course. Me and my dad ordered a share platter which has 4 different cuts of steak and it has to be one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. Despite it being very busy when we were there, the food did not take long at all. I genuinely have 0 complaints which is very rare and this is somewhere I would absolutely recommend.

We are in from NY and took our daughter who now lives in London for her birthday lunch. Everything and everyone was wonderful. The starters, the mains, and the dessert were incredibly delicious. The atmosphere is lovely. Highly recommended!!

This was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. We popped in for a Sunday lunch as we were working on a show at the 02. We decided to go for the Chateaubriand for two with a carafe of red wine. What an utter disappointment. The “sharing” meal came out in a dismal little metal serving dish with a Yorkshire pudding on a side plate. We both looked at it in shock, the meal looked like it was for one and there was a distinct lack of any of the greens we were promised. A few bits of beef, 3 carrots and two cold shallots. We sat there, waiting to see if anyone noticed or if any more was to turn up, it wasn’t until we got the attention of the waiter, he realised something had gone wrong and quickly said he was brining out the rest of the meal. We finished the first “sitting” of the unseasoned food then a second, equally miserable metal tray of food came out, this time, I realised we had not been given chateauxbriand but a quickly fried steak to rectify the error with our meal. It was pale, grey and cooked appallingly. The waiter asked if everything was ok and I quite rightly said the meal was at most, mid. I would never ever eat here again, we were charged service on top of the meal so a total of £131 for the worst Sunday lunch I’ve ever had and a carafe of wine. DO NOT EAT HERE!! It’s so so incredibly bad, I’ve had better a local pubs in london. The restaurant was around 30% full at the time of eating, so the mistakes made were not really justified and having to pay for service was just a joke. We thought we’d picked a safe option for the O2 but a Quick Look at the other crews food, we chose wrong and could have got something half the price and more delicious elsewhere.

We went to Gaucho for a birthday meal with our friends and we had a fabulous time. We were at the O2 for a party event at another venue and were deciding where to eat lunch. The birthday boy said he wanted steak so we went to Gaucho. The service was exceptional from the start and was exactly what I am looking for in a restaurant. All the food and drink were excellent and a lot of what we had was recommended by our excellent waiter. I would definitely recommend.

I am disgusted and lost for words. If it was possible to leave 0 stars I would. I hope the photo I have uploaded speaks for itself. I ordered a medium-well steak… as you can see, this steak is raw and not even a quarter cooked. It actually looks like human remains. I have been throwing up and been very ill since eating this. If you know your steaks well, you’ll know this is not what a medium-well steak looks like. For a place that has such a high reputation, I am lost for words and gobsmacked, especially in a location like the O2. I am very disappointed—not even mentioning how ill I am. This steak was rare; not even a medium-rare steak would look like this. To make matters worse, the staff were passive-aggressive throughout the dining experience, constantly smirking and pulling faces at each other. The reception staff had an attitude and were more focused on their phones than providing a welcoming experience. So much for a luxury dining experience—I would’ve been better off at Nando’s. People like you shouldn’t get away with stuff like this just because of your name. Shameful place. I wouldn’t even say avoid it—I’d say don’t even be near the radius of it.

Very very average & no where near as good as the other gaucho restaurants I’ve been to many times. On arrival - the “host” was highly un hostful…. Had zero interest in helping us to get a table. Said we’d need to wait for at least an hour - In a bar which resembles a poor airport lounge - not comfortable or inviting at all. The “hostess” - then appeared 30 mins later and asked “are you still interested in your table?” - INTERESTED?? no no - We are just sat here for the fun of it. Got up to the restaurant and we were sat on a really odd glass balcony / with stools - overlooking a dark lift shaft. Barely enough room for a plate on the table. Not comfortable at all. Our waiter - was very good I have to say & the service itself in the restaurant was slick and efficient…. Ordered one of the prawn dishes - and they were by far the worst prawns I’ve ever eaten. Not remotely fresh, not hot and horribly chewy. The steak (we ordered the most expensive option on the board) - came as 4 cuts - was overall good - but not all that flavoursome or hot. I’ve had far nicer meat in other Gaucho’s previously… Def won’t go to the O2 one again that’s for sure… the “fitout” of the restaurant is dreadful, the hostess’ need replacing & they need to work on the quality and presentation of the meat, and stop serving horrendous prawns - overall this brand really has had its day - it’s sad to say.

We had the Rib Eye with Mac &cheese and tender stem broccoli and it was wonderful and came on time. The mac and cheese wasn’t as juicy as i would prefer but everything else was great. Our host Daniel was resourceful, humorous and advised on us on what to order. Which obviously enjoyed. The place was super full clearly cos it was vals day. But overall, I’ll definitely go back for the food and service.

We visited the restaurant to have dinner before attending a show at O2. The food although a bit more pricey than other restaurants, was delicious and definitely worth the price. The experience was also great and the staff made us feel welcome, especially our waiter ‘Juan’ who was very informative regarding the menu and then made sure we enjoyed everything and that everything was up to our expectations.

A bit disappointed with Gauchos at the O2 We usually go to Canary wharf Gauchos but thought we would have a change. It was quite empty when we walked in at 3 pm on a Sunday and they showed us to a table of six but I had to ask them to remove the sixth chair as it created a gap between my husband and I. They were very slow to give us service. When they asked what we wanted to drink, I had to ask them for the wine menu for the second time. We did our drinks and food at the same time and didn’t have to wait too long. There was no offer off any condiments. No one came and asked if our meal was okay throughout our entire stay. When we were asked if we wanted more food, I asked if the gravy could be hotter as to be honest all of the food was lukewarm. We ordered the bottomless roast for five people. There was quite a long wait between asking for more food. I don’t know if this is a tactic so you get fuller quicker. The beef was nice and the carrots were delicious. The gravy had a good flavour but was not hot enough. The potatoes on the first round were nice but on the second round they tasted very powdery. At Canary Wharf they always let you know what cuts of meat they are bringing but not here. I’m glad they had taken note it was my husband‘s birthday as the only thing that felt remotely personal was the birthday dessert with happy birthday written on. Absolutely no banter or communications from the waiting staff other than asking if we wanted any more food. Definitely will not return.

I booked in advance for the Sunday roast but was told the day before my booking that the roast won’t be available. Once arriving in the restaurant the staff told me that they don’t serve Sunday roast on event days aka when there’s event at the o2 arena. I think that should be noted on the website. Other than that the service was excellent! Staff are well manned and pleasant. My friend enjoyed the wagyu burger and steak was pleasing. Not much of steak fan but I had good meal

Had dinner with work and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Definitely would recommend to try as they have a good options on food and drinks. Can not fault as all the staff and waiter was fantastic checking in how we are with the drinks and food to see if anything else we want or he could recommend. Wow! What can I say what an utter shambles, we have been to Various Gauchos and never experienced such awful service and food, our steaks were cooked wrong we sent them back, they then proceeded to take my sons sides back although his steak was the only one cooked correctly. Our steaks arrived again after a long wait and my medium/well Fillet was bleeding and more medium/rare, the manager proceeded to argue with me like I don’t know what I am talking about, we eat in steak restaurants regularly and know how it should be! Never again will we visit a Gauchos again after our experience today, Mediocre overpriced rubbish cuts of meats with equally rubbish service. This used to be an upmarket restaurant where you were guaranteed good food. Not anymore what a shame.

As an Argentinian, I can confidently say Gaucho at The O2 delivers an authentic and exceptional dining experience! The steaks are top-notch, perfectly cooked, and remind me of home. 13% service charge put on the bill at the end and for the waiter/waitress to only receive less than 40% of that is a disgrace! Gaucho have found and are exploiting staff! Also I don’t want a discretionary tip added, I want to be able to pick and choose if I feel a tip is needed. Won’t be coming back to Gaucho anytime soon

Nuestro servidor Daniel era muy agradable y atento. ¡Disfruté tanto de mi cóctel que tuve otro! El pastel de queso era precioso. Mi esposa y yo visitamos Gaucho antes de un concierto y una vez más la comida era tremenda. Después de haber visitado este restaurante 3 veces en un año el menú siempre es genial con mucha elección y los entrantes cambian un poco con cada visita. El chateaubriand estaba perfectamente cocinado y el servicio era fantástico. El único punto menor fue que me pidieron que me fuera de la mesa con disculpas porque querían unir mesas para un partido más grande. Si bien no es un problema importante el hecho de que me paré durante 5 minutos (me ofrecieron otro asiento) nadie se llevó a la mesa, así que podrían habernos dejado ir por nuestra propia voluntad. Como digo un punto menor, pero después de haber gastado bastantes cientos de puntos, unos minutos más no habrían importado y nos ofrecieron otra ronda de bebidas que rechazamos, así que ¿qué habría pasado si hubiéramos querido otra? De todos modos un gran restaurante y uno al que volveremos.

Love the brand, this beach fell short of what I’m used to Service was swift, 3 rib eye steaks all medium rare 2/3 were half well done/half medium rare The grill was clearly inconsistent The steaks looked great, but were covered in oil to make it look good, this was apparent in the taste Waiter said all the right things, very very rushed in what he was saying When they asked if everything was ok, there wasn’t much opportunity to give feedback at all He suggested the most expensive glass of red on the menu (I understand the concept of upselling) but there wasn’t much opportunity no context around why he suggested it This branch could do better with a little bit of effort I walked out thinking I over spent on a mediocre steak which I have never done at Gaucho before The Richmond branch is a tier above this one

My partner took me for a birthday meal it was a voucher that she’d bought on red letter days. Unfortunately the server had no idea of this and offered us the usual menu, after asking to let us know about any restrictions due to the voucher they exchanged our menu for what can only be described as a short pub food menu. We ordered, the starter came and it was wrong - however the steak tartare was very nice, then we had our mains, the sirloin steak was below average - the quality of a low grade super market steak, the chicken was nice. The deserts were absolutely terrible - bought in (commercial grade factory made) cake and another desert including strawberries squirty cream and some flakes of meringue. Who are they kidding?! This was appalling. We were then told by the waitress we had 10 minutes left on our table, so we asked for the bill which came incorrect, so we asked to remove the service charge, settled and left. 3rd time to gaucho, this follows another bad experience at their Richmond branch. Will Not be returning anymore - it has gone seriously downhill.

Visited Gaucho at The O2 for the experience as much as the food, and it delivered on both counts. The perfect starters of bread and Burrata salad were enjoyed. The 300g Ancho Ribeye was delicious, and the sides—mustard onions, Koffman chips, mac and cheese—complemented the meal perfectly. Paired with the Pot Vina Patricia, it was a treat. The cheesecake also lived up to the recommendation. Even the Eira Still water was outstanding. Service is generally good, but it can feel a bit casual at times, with a touch of awkwardness when reminding you about the time limit on your table. A bit more polish, maybe a script, in that area would go a long way. For atmosphere, the internal section of the restaurant has more energy, but sitting by the window overlooking The O2 gave us a quieter, more relaxed vibe. In short: the food never disappoints, but there’s room for improvement in service delivery, especially when it comes served on the bill at 13%.

Quería tener una comida memorable antes de una operación planeada que me dejará fuera de acción por un tiempo - Gaucho no decepcionó! Mi esposa y yo fuimos admirablemente atendidos de principio a fin por Klaudia. Su nivel de servicio y la amabilidad fueron puntuales. Ella comprobó al principio para ver si íbamos al espectáculo y a partir de entonces nuestro tiempo funcionó a la perfección - terminando a las 7 pm que nos da la cantidad de tiempo justo. La comida (como siempre) era excelente. Mi esposa tomó el Ceviche de Lubina seguido de un filete de Lomo. Tomé Taco de Salmón (el mejor comienzo que he tenido en mucho tiempo) y un Filete de Ancho. También tuvimos Humita (cada vez que cenamos en Gaucho - me encanta). Desierto era Bayas escalfadas, que era una manera perfecta de terminar la comida, ya que no era demasiado llena después de todo lo demás. Gracias Klaudia y todo el personal Gaucho por hacer nuestra visita tan memorable como esperaba. Esperamos con interés la próxima vez.

Such a wonderful experience here. Book a meal here for 4:30 before we came to a concert at the o2 later that day. It was a special occasion for us so on our booking I made a note that it was our anniversary and upon arrival they offered us complimentary champagne. We don’t drink so we had to return them but the gesture was lovely and the waiter understood. Our server showed us all the cuts of steak upon request with great recommendations on how to get them done and was happy to confirm which cuts of steak were halal on the day. We ordered the Fillet steak 225g, medium rare which I recommend and the rib eye steak 300g medium. We found the rib eye to be way too filling and slightly tough. If you want to go for rib eye we recommend ordering with and appetite and getting it rare or just opt for a wagyu steak instead. The only qualm I have is I wish they offered smaller cuts of steak, since everything we ordered was too much for us. Also wish the presentation of the steaks were done a bit better as opposed to just offered in the middle of a large empty plate. Regardless. the tasted good. For starters we ordered the bread and olives which we 100% recommend over any starter. Bread was so fresh and served with chimmichuri. The olives were large and juicy and also quite spicy too! Very flavourful. For sides with our steak we ordered the truffle mac and cheese, chips and mash. We shared these between two and it was more than enough food. We opted for bernaise sauce for our steaks which paired very well. we initially wanted confit mushrooms as a side and the peppercorn sauce but were told that both were made with wine, so be aware of that if you avoid alcohol. At the end we asked for our bill. Our server took quite a while to come back and we were getting a bit frustrated. However we realised that instead of coming back to charge us, he brought us a very large slice of cheese cake for us to celebrate our anniversary. Such an amazing gesture that we didn’t expect. The cake was delicious as well. It was comped on our bill but costs roughly £10-11 and I think it’s very much worth it bc of the generous portion size. I came with not very many expectations here but I ended up having a great experience that makes me want to come back here! Thoroughly recommend.

Nuestro camarero Alfa... ¡Qué leyenda! Este tipo merece un aumento de sueldo... super atento, nos dio recomendaciones honestas que en realidad nos ahorraron dinero. Luego nos recomendó los pudines y no se equivocó, honestamente, Gaucho debería estar orgulloso de tener a este tipo trabajando allí, realmente hizo la experiencia divertida y fácil. I was disappointed with our recent dining experience, particularly given the price point. Our group of five encountered several service issues that detracted from our meal. The server displayed a lack of attentiveness and professionalism, often reaching over us to serve rather than navigating around the table. Additionally, she gestured rudely for one of us to pass her a plate and did not check in on our satisfaction at any point during or after the meal. At one point, the server attempted to walk away while still taking our order, mistakenly assuming we had finished after just two of us had ordered. To add insult to injury, a £40 gratuity was automatically added to our bill, and when I requested its removal, she reacted negatively. While I am open to tipping for good service, I believe the decision should remain with the customer, especially given the poor experience we had. Regarding the food, we ordered the Gaucho Sampler (£130), but unfortunately, half of it had to be sent back due to incorrect cooking. While I understand that mistakes can happen, some cuts of steak resembled those typically found in a budget sandwich rather than the premium quality expected at this price. Overall, this experience fell short of expectations. When spending over £300, one anticipates both excellent service and high-quality food. Instead, we were met with lackluster service and average meals, compounded by an unsolicited gratuity. I hope these concerns are addressed to enhance future guests' experiences.

Went there last night, Saturday 07th September and the service was exceptional. From drinks in the bar downstairs, to dinner service upstairs. Our waiter, Bakar, was exceptional and the front of house staff brought up a mouse that my step-dad had left downstairs (Bluetooth of course) to us when we went up for food. Overall, I couldn’t fault my experience and it was worth every penny.

Visitamos Tunbridge Wells Rubys y habíamos pedido por adelantado el Té para dos (sin gluten) & WOW fue increíble desde los sabores cálidos y bollos (que eran tan ligeros ) a la gran selección de tés e incluso el poco chocolate caliente para terminar!
