Very tasty! Pleasant atmosphere! Acceptable prices! Delicious fresh carrot juice!

Wow! What an experience! Pretty much the worst bacon sandwich I’ve ever seen or tasted. Toasted granary bread that they be couldn’t be bothered to put margarine or butter on and the Bacon was so overdone you could snap it in two. It was as dry as the Sahara. Food ordered at 8.30am first customer in, food arrived at 9.10am - no wonder the bacon was over done. A complete and utter rip off. My advice is AVOID!

Our favourite local cafe, the staff are extremely kind and friendly. The food is delicious and cakes are incredible and all home made by the team. I would also say they offer potentially the best omelette in London!

The coffees here are first class,and the snacks are of the highest standard. Smashed avocado on sourdough toast is my favourite. So relaxed, you can just forget that you have things to get on with. Dogs are also welcome.

It is a very old style caffe…. The italian owners are kind. The staff seems to be a family always there. I used to go a lot before as I always thought the price was very good. I went back today prices went up but the food is good. Their fresh squeezed orange juice it is great! I will continue coming around also they are dog friendly, and always have dogs around

Small local cafe about 4 tables, pair of old sofas and a communal table. The food was just mediocre, both English breakfast and Eggs Royale. Not good, not bad. The tea was good, though.

A nice local cafe which is also a delicatessen shop. They serve breakfast and lunch staples. We had a jacket potato and a Caesar salad. Great service and they are dog-friendly!

Excellent breakfast! I had egg and smoked salmon on sourdough bread. Very well done scrambled eggs and very tasty bread. My partner had croissant and he loved it. Best croissant he had for ages! Very good coffee too. Ignore all the bad 4 year old reviews, the place has totally changed since then and is very much worth going to now.

Happened upon this cozy and friendly coffee shop after picking up a package from an Amazon UK "locker" at a convenience store that was next door. The price was reasonable and walked over to Greenwich park to eat our avocado toast and coffee--it was a nice surprise and find!

A little gem in the heart of Greenwich, amazing coffee

Very charming little cafe with lots of unique and original character. Locally owned and run with great food at really good prices, didn't get to try the desserts but they looked great - very exotic flavours. Got the vegetarian breakfast which was just right - not too much not too little and under £9. You could easily spend a lot of time in the cafe with the slow bustle and read a book. Highly recommend.

Nice place with decent food and prices and nice atmosphere sometimes killed by really loudly speaking staff which makes you feel more like being in a local fish and chips then a coffee place. Tip: do not order a salad when it's prepared by Chinese lady... You will get half portion.

I have taken coffee and cake frequently at the Buenos Aires cafe. The service is always excellent, the coffee very palatable and the cake excellent. I have also enjoyed their salads and sandwiches from time to time. These are equally good. The café itself is a comfortable place, with large leather settees and newspapers on offer, with a carafe of spear mint flavoured water always on offer. There are also seats and tables outside, when the weather allows.

Seated out the back in the conservatory in this busy restaurant is a pleasant place to be. The service is pleasant and casual, and the food is good, with steak very much so. Been here a few times and will continue to return.

Royal hill is excellent accessible toilet and friendly staff. But no accsessable toilet in Blackheath so don’t go there

London has plenty of cafés to offer, but very few of them have the genuine and slightly shabby-chic romantic atmosphere as you would easily find it, for example, in abundance in Paris. This place has exactly this vibe to offer and it's therefore one of my default choices for early morning musing with a good quality coffee or their good selection of teas. They also offer a very delicious toasted sandwich option (I love to go for the 'ham, cheese and olives' version) which they will always prepare freshly to order. Staff is friendly and attentive, although they can become a bit hectic when it's busy, but I'm taking to it. Great neighbourhood-style café place!

This is the most insanely good avocado toast EVER. The bread will have any die hard Keto dieter break into a cheat day. Toasted to perfection, crunchy and soft while soaking in the lime dressing. Top it off with some smoked salmon and you will be hooked. The staff is warm and friendly. There are comfy couches and a bit of outdoor seating. Its the attention to detail that will keep you coming back. The calm and serene atmosphere where you can enjoy you coffee while reading the local newspaper. Off the beaten path, but its what you deserve after a hectic week.

I dont think this is Argentine anymore but nevertheless a very nice cafe with a selection of fresh pastries for you to choose from and good coffee. It was a nice atmosphere in there too and they had lots of independent items on sale

We like the small garden at the rear - more of an outdoor space - cool on a hot summers day. Good food and wine that we tried. Worth a look.

This coffee shop has changed hands recently. It is now called No. 86 and no longer has an Argentinian theme. The opening hours have changed and it now closes at 5pm.

Great place to grab a quick snack or a coffee in the morning.

The cappuccino was not bad but the lemon cake was clearly old, possibly a day or two. The service is always a bit of a let down too. Plenty of room for improvement

Okay experience but no Wi-Fi policy

No longer called Buenos Aires, it’s been taken over by the people who run the nearby dry cleaners. Still operating as a cafe, it’s also been stripped of its Argentine theme.

Try the mate, a traditional Argentinian drink. This is one of my favourite cafes in London. It feels genuine, I even brought an Argentinian friend of mine here and she approved saying that it's awesome. I love the pictures on the walls, the vibe and the food is nice.

Really good coffee - maybe the best in Greenwich. I didn't eat but food looks good (mainly pastries and sandwiches). Also sells some nice produce, including Argentinian specialities like mate and dulce de leche (as well as the coffee).

Very weird place. Sounds nice from the outside but then inside it is really not clean. The ceiling are really dirty, there is a cat on the floor eating th rest of the food from the kitchen. The cheese and ham plancha are done near the tables so you can see the kitchen people doing it with dirty hands ...

Shockingly priced, hence only meant for the Greenwich millonares. Staff are often quite rude and will walk off whilst you wait to be served.

A relaxed atmosphere with casual seating. Very tasty food, not a restaurant but still an ideal place for breakfast or lunch. Good bread, variety of salads, soup, cakes and much more. Only criticism is that, at certain times if the day, it often gets 'taken...

It would be fine if it didn't call itself Argentine. there's really nothing Argentine about the food. No empanadas. No facturas. No milanesa. No yerba mate. No sandwiches de miga. No dulce de leche for God's sake. No chimichurri. THAT is what an ARGENTINE place should serve, this place doesn't serve anything Argentine.

Great neighborhood coffee shop. Perfect breakfast atmosphere, funky furniture, local newspapers, delicious almond criossants, and best-of-all superb fresh fruit muesli and a quiet buzz. Staff is really helpful and chatty. We will return numerous times during our 3-week stay in greenwich.

Me encanta este café. El café es delicioso y el sándwiches tostados son increíbles - tamaño generoso amarga - masa sándwiches con quesos y jamones y verduras interesante. Atención, no hay wifi - es un espacio para desconectar. Los precios no son bajos, y el servicio no es inmensamente rápido, pero vale la pena por el ambiente relajado, hogareño y deliciosa comida.

Realmente necesitaba de un café. Algo malo que me ha sucedido hoy. El gerente de la tienda (creo que era el director, era un tipo muy agradable con pelo corto) me ofrecen un capuchino adorable. Soy italiano y me necesita. Cuando iba a pagar yo solo tenia tarjeta banco conmigo. Desgraciadamente no sólo aceptan efectivo y tarjeta, pero él era tan amable para ofrecer el capuchino sin pagar. Me alojé allí 30 minutos hablando con el camarero muy amable, Massimo. Yo realmente necesitaba para solucionar mi problema y el lugar me ofrecen un oasis de descanso. Muchas gracias!

El BA Café solía ser uno de mis favoritos de delicatessens en la zona y a menudo conocer amigos aquí para un café o una empanada. Pero las últimas visitas han sido aburrido y las grietas han comenzado a aparecer. El lugar está llorando por una renovación, lo que me pareció encantador hace 10 años (cestas colgantes, mis fotos de Igualada, tienda de segunda mano muebles) se ha convertido en mal estado, la comida sigue siendo buena, y el café, pero el servicio es irregular y el inodoro es francamente tan deprimente que prefiero hacer el viaje hasta el local DE MCDONALD'S. Durante mi última visita, había cuatro personas que trabajan detrás del mostrador pero tardaron más de 30 minutos para servir un sándwich abierto (sin ingredientes cocinados!). La comida se convirtió en dribs drabs y, y mientras uno de los camareros era amable y no se disculpaba por el retraso, la camarera crecido tenía el encanto de una trucha. No puedo sino sentir triste y decepcionado por la forma en que un lugar tan querido ha sido descuidado. Espero que no será sustituido por uno de las cadenas de café espantosa.

Good sandwiches and salads, a touch pricey and a nice vibe but some of the staff don't seem on this planet. After being almost a weekly regular I now only sparingly go.

Yo creo que Kare y Reinaldo no son por. El personal es, chat - brusco belicosos entre sí, mientras que el surf, mientras que sirve! Nunca hay cualquier empanadas dejado por el almuerzo, y hoy me dieron una pequeña porción de pastel rancio. Los tés van rancio. Propietarios, entrar allí y les haga sacar sus calcetines! El personal es un mal nombre.

Great little cafe with lovely cakes and some interesting gifts to buy too. Had really fast service this time around, much better than the previous visit. A nice alternative to the cafes of central Greenwich

Buenos Aires has been my coffee shop of choice in Greenwich for the six years I've lived here. Friendly staff, really good coffee and a range of treats - Argentinian empanadas amongst others - all make this a comfortable place for a break. The downside is that there's not much seating so it's more often than not full - not surprising given the quality.

It was a dining experience I will never forget. When the staff finally took our order which was a 14oz and 8oz ribeye steak, we had been waiting for 20 minutes. When the food arrived it looked ok until we started eating. My steak, which was meant to be medium/well done was dry and overcooked. The 14oz steak my friend ordered was fatty and full of gristle. Granted, rib eye is more fatty, but by the time he had finished, there was about a quarter of the steak that was inedible. I decided to complain and asked to speak to the manager. When the manager came to our table, we explained what the problem was. At no time were either of us aggressive or rude, we were simply explaining why we were unhappy. The Manager then raised her voice and told my friend there was no need to be so aggressive or rude. At this point I asked for the bill, we just wanted to leave the restaurant. The Manager then said she would go and bring the chef over so he could explain to me what a medium/well done steak should look like. Really! I know exactly how I like my steak, and this wasn't even close. The chef apologised and stated that the 8oz steak was overcooked and the larger streak was of poor quality. The Manager had created an embarrassing scene and decided to waive the bill. I was asked for my details to give the restaurant an opportunity to put things right. I am prepared to give the restaurant a chance to put things right, but I won’t be dining at the Greenwich restaurant.

This is a funny place but I like the food. They benefit from the golden rule: start with good quality ingredients and you can't go far wrong. While the food and drink may be of a good quality, the service is erratic. Sometimes you'll get a friendly welcome and a speedy sandwich. At other times, three waitresses will chat at the back while one does all the work, leading to lengthy delays. Part of me thinks they're making it up as they go along, but I keep returning regardless.

DLRとBritish Railのグリニッチ駅近く、閑静な住宅街を少し入ったところにあります。主にコーヒーを飲むのに利用していましたが、ディスプレイされているケーキなどデザート類や惣菜もとても美味しそうで魅力的です。サンドイッチなど軽食もいただけます。ブエノスアイレスという名前だけあり、アルゼンチンの食材や雑貨も売られていました。通りに面してガラス張りの店内は明るく、壁のディスプレイもお洒落で、とにかく居心地が良いです。お客さんは圧倒的に地元の人が多いようです。週末の午後は若干混んでいる印象ですが、カティサーク周辺のお店は観光客でごった返しているので、喧騒から離れて少し落ち着きたい方はこちらまで脚を運んでみてはいかがでしょうか。同じ通りには他にも何軒か雰囲気の良いお店が並んでいます。

Lovely off-the-beaten-track place in Greenwich. Busy at the obvious times with families and kids, but if you get in early you may bag the big leather sofas. Great coffee, nice cakes & cheese/charcuterie boards. Worth seeking out.

Nice airy place, well set-up and great atmosphere. No wifi however..

Tucked a little way from the heart of Greenwich the café is rather spacious, filled with generously upholstered chairs and the tchotchkes and gewgaws of the home away from home. The coffee is first class, the espresso has a good bite and the café also has a nice line in dry goods should you wish to do a little cooking of your own. As a little treat it's worth the detour. Incidentally if you drive an EV there are two charging stations at the top of the rise so double up your downtime

Mixed emotions, the pizza was very nice but maybe a little expensive. Then they served me something by mistake and they charged for that :-O

I am always in this place....However, today I went in for a toasted sandwich.I stood in the queue.A couple came up to the right of me and the girl started to serve them.I said I was there first so I placed my order.I took my coffee, sat down and waited for my toasted cheese and tomato sandwich..... and waited The couple who had tried to be served before me got their order.The man then called the waitress over to say the order was wrong and that he's got a toasted cheese and tomato sandwich.It was taken away and they started making his sandwich again.A couple of minutes later the girl who served me came over with a bag containing a toastie.I asked if it was the same one which had been given to the man on the other table.She said it was. I said I didn't want a cold second hand toastie.She said it wasn't cold as they put it back in the toasting machine for a couple of minutes.I said I didn't want a second hand toastie, got my money back and leftLol...

"Feels like we r in someones house!" That kind of vibe with only a few seats and tables. Really good coffee! I had the eggs benedict and it was amazing, their bacon is also a topic the next day so it must be great!

This was the first time we have had dinner here, as it hasn't been open that long. We hadn't booked on a rainy Thursday evening, but they found a table for us near the entrance. As we didn't really know what we wanted we ordered the mixed steak platter for two, which was a lot of well cooked steak. The staff are friendly but quite laid back and the atmosphere was very relaxed. While eating our starters, which were delicious we noticed the wood fired pizza's; they looked really good and would definitely come back to try another time. They have some lovely Malbec's too, so this place can easily become a favourite for me in Greeenwich. Because this is a deli bread, cold meat etc looks really good too. I can imagine breakfast and lunch would be good, but will definitely need to book.

Dropped in on spec - since my wife spoke Spanish, we were given a table.Excellent service, wonderful.Argentinian beef cooked in charcoal oven. Unbelievable.Owner treated us to Limoncello before we left!

Llegamos a este cafe porque somos de la Argentina y nos llamo la atencion el nombre.Pedimos ir atras donde hay un patio. La camarera nos dijo q eligieramos los dulces que estaban expuestos ya que eran los unicos, y luego nos enviaria un mozo para tomar el resto del pedido.Eramos solo 8 comensales en ese momento. Tuvimos que llamar al mozo, o sea ir hasta adelante, ya que no venia a tomar el pedido. Cuando trajo mi taza de te, parte estaba volcado en el plato y le tuvimos que pedir servilletas. Terminamos de comer y nunca aparecio el mozo ergo otra vez fuimos hacia el local para pagar la cuenta. Le comente lo mal atendidos que esuvimos y la camarera con acento español, nos contesto de muy mala manera negando lo que habia sido evidente. En ese instante el otro matrimonio que tambien estaba en la parte de atras vino a reclame algo. Es la primera vez que estando en Londres fui mal atendida ya que los mozos siempre son eficientes, amables y pendiente del cliente, ademas practicamente este lugar estaba vacio. No hay escusas!

Four of us had arrived on the water taxi from Tower Bridge at 10.30 feeling very hungry indeed. We wandered around the market area which was being re-developed looking for a suitable eatery. This restaurant proved to be an excellent choice. We sat in the front part looking out onto the street and receiver excellent serive. The orange juice was squeezed in front of our very eyes so could not have been fresher. My eggs Royale were superb as were the eggs Benedict ordered by my friends wife. He had a full English which was too much for me but not for him! My wife had scramled eggs on toast which she said were perfect, fluffy and light.When the girls went to the loo they came back telling us how wonderful it was out back with another extensive area you could eat in.

We were here a couple of time always eay good. But last time we eat here we already got a complain as a couple who was eating there for a 140 £ more o less. So we get even a sausage who was gonw bad. Today it reached the tope of the point. My pasta was just oil and i send i back but the kitchen was closed already and the top was i should pay my pasta what i did not eat. My boyfiend had a steak and now we are both aboth the bathroom to vomit what we eat there even it was not much. They will not see as again as regular costumer. Shame on them

We were looking for somewhere good to eat way from the crowds thronging Greenwich and took a punt on this place. We were very pleased with the result. A good menu, several pleasant places to eat - in our case outside at the back. Food very good and good service. We gather it is very new, and in our opinion it deserves to be better known.

Our first visit to Greenwich and with no time to check restaurant reviews The Buenos Aires was a 'pot luck' choice that proved to be a very good one.We were shown through to the back restaurant which is a very comfortable well decorated airy space.Food was ab fab and very well priced for London (in fact cheaper than we would get for something comparable at home in South Wales).Service was just great and good fun with Lenny and Elizabetta.Highly recommended and would make a point of going if in the area again.
