The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Seafood food

This pub overlooking the harbour has a nice atmosphere. There wasn't much of a crowd on a Tuesday afternoon in early June. There are the usual drinks you'd expect for a pub- ale, gins etc. and non-alcoholic options too (J20, 0% cider etc). A J20 was £3, so the kind of money you'd probably expect to pay. There was a board outside showing when bands would be playing live music in the evening during the week. The toilets are decorated in line with the theme of the pub. There's a pool table at the back. We were very fortunate to have ordered the last two Hot Shells meal and were blown away by the gorgeous mussels, crab and the delicious scallops. The surroundings are outstanding and very relaxed. Whilst enjoying the wonderful food, it was a bonus that we could watch the goings-on in the sea and on the beach. Superb! In fact we are off there again today to sample more of the delicious menu.

Revisited recently, still damn fine fish and chips and the curry sauce was bliss too, in the past we used a competitors shop, after poor service this is our goto fish and chips

Delicious Fish & Chips – A Must-Try! We visit this place once a fortnight its my sons favourite. From the moment you walk in, the staff are welcoming and friendly. The fish is perfectly cooked—golden, crispy batter on the outside and tender, flaky fish on the inside. It freshly cooked every time. What really stands out is the portion size and value for money. Generous servings at a great price make this spot even better. I also appreciated that everything is served piping hot and not greasy, which is a big plus for a fish and chip shop.

We live locally but it's the first time visiting here and I'm impressed: Immaculately clean. Friendly, happy, chatty fun staff who are also efficient. Pleasent atmosphere. Clean tasting, good food!! Thank you!

Chips dry, batter thick and undercooked underneath. Fish poor and brown underneath. Awful and expensive. Waste of money.

Bought pie and chips Chips were like bullets hard and tastless Pie was like rubber and tasteless I'd heard it was a really good chippy My verdict..pretentious living of reputation 2/10

I absolutely love this place for fish n chips, I get haddock, which is like eating a steak, soo chunky and meaty EVERY time, the chips are equally as brilliant, I go nowhere else eva!!

Been a few times and never been disappointed, absolutely gorgeous food and atmosphere

Visited today on an itison voucher. Staff were dismissive from the minute we got in, two glasses of wine never arrived till dinner came out, asked for water for the table which never materialised. Some of the food was lovely but patas bravas and king prawns were tasteless and not as described. Dishes layed on the table for over half an hour and wasn’t offered the dessert menu which was included in the voucher so decided to leave. Wouldn’t go back.

I have been there in person and have had a delivery of fish and chips from Ridgeway Fish and Chips. Both times the quality of the food was excellent and tasty. In person they are very friendly and the premises are extremely clean. Delivery is securely packaged so very reassuring.
