The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Italian food

Visited on a Friday night and the restaurant was very busy. All the food we ordered was very tasty and good size portions. One star dropped on atmosphere due to background music at the time of our visit being the song bear nessecities from jungle book on repeat for some unowned reason. All in all though a nice Italian restaurant with good service and friendly staff.

The most attentive & happy staff, pizzas were delicious and a great price also! Finished with two tasty coffees.

Nettes kleines italienisches Restaurant mit einer guten Auswahl an Speisen. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist gut, nach 10 Minuten bereits am Tisch, was bei frischer Zubereitung schwierig ist. Ein echter Kritikpunkt sind die völlig abgegriffenen Speisekarten. Die sollten dringend erneuert werden!

Pedimos una comida para llevar de Calabrisella y su pizza, ¡fueron las peores pizzas que he visto en mi vida! Les llamamos por teléfono y la única respuesta que pudieron dar fue lamentar escuchar sobre su mala experiencia. Claramente no se preocupan por su servicio y menos aún por el producto que venden a los clientes que pagan! ¡Esto es una desgracia y deberían avergonzarse de asociarse con la auténtica comida italiana! ¡No desperdicies el dinero que tanto te costó ganar!

We recently visited this Italian restaurant in Arundel without a reservation, but the host was friendly and quickly arranged a table for us, which was appreciated. The atmosphere was pleasant, with a cozy vibe that added to the experience. For starters, we had garlic bread topped with Parmesan cheese, which was delicious—a real highlight. I ordered the Pasta Alfonso, which was flavorful and light, just right for a lunch portion. My friends, however, had the pasta with crab and weren’t as satisfied with their choice. While I enjoyed my meal, I would have liked salt and pepper on the table or offered alongside the dishes to adjust the flavors to my preference. The staff who served us were friendly, but some seemed a bit tired, and the overall hospitality didn’t quite reach the level of attentiveness we’d hoped for. In the end, while I enjoyed parts of the meal, I’ll likely try another restaurant next time. This spot is decent if you’re looking for a casual Italian meal, but it may not be the best choice if you’re looking for a more polished dining experience.

High class restaurant. Quality food and a very large selection. A very rich menu. Excellent, fast service. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Nottingham.

Absolutely fantastic - you walk into a busy but very welcoming atmosphere. Superb staff - they treat you as if you are their number 1 table. Food is amazing - great choice and superb. I never leave a review for anything or anyone but I cannot let Amici go without top marks 🌟

Lovely, comfortable, unrushed, delicious lunch menu. Finally, celebrating my hubby's birthday - early October so long overdue. Service is amazing and they want to make it special. Thanks so much for a beautiful, relaxed, delicious celebration. Food choice is amazing and we always come for birthdays and anniversary treats and always return x

They provided a delicious dairy free meal for me at the last minute! I was part of a big group and when I asked which dishes were safe for me to eat they went above and beyond to help me. I ended up with penne Arrabbiata with rich tomato sauce and loads of chilli and olives- it was so good. The staff were really friendly and helpful, they really couldn’t do more for our group. I’ll definitely be back! Thank you so much!

Amazing food. Strangely I don't particularly like pasta or pizza but I did find a great selection of other dishes. Crab and avocado bake was lovely - plenty of crab and a great sauce. Lobster thermador - always my favourite - was exceptional. Loved it. My friends said the pasta and pizza were wonderful - I will take their word for it but the dishes did look good.
