Food is always delicious and staff are always friendly. Reasonably priced and nice setting for dinner.

Visited today with my daughter. Can't rate staff and food highly enough. Very pleasant and helpful. First time visiting, food is first class. Will definitely be going back and can highly recommend to everyone

One of the worst Italians I’ve been to, from the way the owner acts and treats some staff is beyond disgusting and the food was mediocre at best. Won’t be back, stay away.

Last couple of pizzas from here have been an absolute disappointment & personally, I think it’s going downhill and very quickly. Pizza’s always arrive cold and recently seem to have gotten much smaller - Certainly not 12 inches. Don’t expect a Neapolitan style pizza as it’s far from it, a million miles in fact. Toppings are low quality, pizza’s have been doused with basil oil so much so that the pizza has been swimming in it. If you’re looking for a ‘proper Neapolitan pizza’ pay the extra for a train ticket and get yourself to Sano or Paesano in Glasgow. If you’re wanting a pizza on par with a kebab shop pizza (perhaps a smidgen better) go here. This place definitely has the scope to be so much better but I can only presume that the majority of the pizza’s are not prepped by the owner himself who is of Italian heritage and clearly has a passion for it. Can I add, I have had some decent pizza’s from here but they have been below average in recent months.

We have been to toninos on many occasions and every single time it has hit the mark. The staff are always super friendly and helpful, and the food is absolutely amazing. My partner and I believe it's some of the best pizza in the whole of scotland. Couldn't recommend this place enough . The cheesecake is also amazing so I would recommend that too.

Starter, 2 pizzas one with extra toppings, pint and large glass of wine for just over £45. Excellent thin base pizza.

Well this is a first went here on the 19th dec, what a let down usually first class. Service very slow not the young lady serving all on her own. They were concentrating on serving takeaways. When we did get the pizza,s the crust was huge and the base was not cooked. Hope this was a one of as we like going here, everyone deserves a second chance.

First visit and very impressed with service and quality of food. One of the best pizzas in a long time and prices are really good. Small place lucky to get a table not sure how big upstairs is. I have only marked it down as the place was really cold as it was a freezing foggy night and back door was open. Will visit again when warmer

We have tried Toninos three times, from those we have had nice pizza on one occasion. The first visit was some time ago, we ordered on a Friday night, the food was underwhelming to say the least. When we spoke to a member of staff about it the explained that they had run out of mozzarella cheese, someone had gone across to Aldi and bought some cheese there, this was why the pizza was not good. That was our first impression, we didn't return for a long time as a result. Earlier this year we decided to give them another go, this time the pizza was really good, we were pleasantly surprised. Forward to early September, takeaway pizza as a birthday treat. Three of us ordered, to be fair 2 of us had nice pizza. The third pizza, a margarita, simple staple of the pizza world, it was soaking wet, swimming in water from the cheese, the dough a sloppy soaking mess. I contacted the restaurant via their FB page, I sent a video of the disaster pizza. The response was an apology and an admission that whoever cooked the pizza didn't drain the mozzarella properly, the reply also said they would send a refund for the pizza. I accepted this and said thanks. That was early September, it's now the 17th of November, no refund has ever been sent. It's not good enough to get it right sometimes, and when you get it wrong then promise to put it right, follow up on that promise. 33% = 2 stars.

Every time I'm in Greenock, I make it a point to get a pizza from Tonino’s, and it never disappoints! The quality has remained consistently exceptional over the years, making it a true local gem. The delicious, perfectly crafted pizzas are always something I look forward to, and they’ve become a highlight of my visits to the area. If you're in Greenock, I highly recommend stopping by Tonino’s for an unforgettable pizza experience!

Intimate Local Italian restaurant, great food and service. After the amazing Halopena poppers, freshly baked Focacia bread with dried tomatoes and balsamic starters, moving on to the pasta Amatricana and Lasagne insufficient words to describe the tremendous flavour fail me. Finally try the locally made Esplanade cafe ice cream with raspberry sauce, indulgence in the extreme, Affogato if you enjoy it with an exquisite Italian expresso. Visit and enjoy you will not be dissapointed. 😋

This restaurant is insanely good! First of all, it reminds you of a little Cafe in Italy. Then there is the amazing, superior, delicious food... some of the best pizza I have had in any country. Plus they have other great Italian styled dishes. Finally the staff working here is some of the kindest and most helpful people I have met anywhere. In fact the good citizens of Greenock Scotland are truly kind and helpful! Can't wait to get our next dinner here!

Tremendous Gaff! Just addictively good pizzas. They do pizza / pasta Jimmy style which suits the Mrs and I. Been meaning to leave a review for ages as we go all the time. Unquestionably the best pizza this side of Glasgow (quite possibly better than any IN Glasgow too) Keep up the great work Tonino’s

Great Italian cuisine. The pizzas were very tasty - I loved their dough. They also serve draft beer, Birra Moretti - which is a quite nice Lager.

Brilliant friendly atmosphere. One of the top places to eat for any occasion. Will continue to visit when I get the chance!

I'm here all the time. i travel about 45 minutes to get there and it's worth it. They do a pizza with sweet peppers on it and it's quality.

It is a lovely place to go with fantastic atmosphere and food but the pizza is really the only option cause the pasta isn't the greatest however it is still a fantastic place

Really nice food at a reasonable price. Had pizza and Lasagne, both of which were really fresh and tasty and the ice cream is beautiful. Well worth a visit.

Me and my wife went there and experience worst food and worst service when we told them that we didn’t like their food they just laugh on us behind our back and make faces due to which we feel embarrassed which I will never forget my whole life. we order Lasagne, pizza and some other things. We didn’t do any negotiations and paid 40 pounds. Actually I recommend this restaurant to my wife based on their reviews. its not about the food its their behaviour in front of my wife which affects me. So I am just writing this review to repair myself.

Been to toninos several times. This time the food was again at its usual high standards and good value. Shared nibbles, pasta, pizza, 2 soft drinks and large glass of wine for £36. Can’t complain about the price at all. Pizza base was very lite and crispy with a tasty filling. I’ll definitely be returning

Absolute 💯 % "THE" best THE best pizza I have ever had and I'm 35 years young 😆 the atmosphere is epic the people who work there are epic and the waitresses ain't bad to look at either 😍😅. I will definitely be back unless the waitresses see this comment, and then it'll need to be a delivery

Amazing, freshly cooked food here. Love that you can get half pizza, half pasta option. Our whole table thought their dishes were delicious, couldn’t fault a thing. The service was great, very polite, friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was lovely and cosy. Will definitely be visiting again. Great pizza, pasta and service. My party of 4 was seated at the table by the door. Constant cold air every time the door opened on a busy cold rainy nigh. And takeaway deliveries and pickups queuing at the counter. I would refuse to be seated there in future but it won’t stop me visiting again as long as I’m seated elsewhere.

Eat here often but tried the delivery for a change. Had only previously tried the pizza. waited almost 2 hours on food and the pizza turned up cold. the pasta wasnt edible as it was just a tub of mush. Had to phone for a refund for the pasta.

As much as this place is cafe sized, the portion sizes and quality of food are restaurant level! Having been here numerous times, their food has been consistently delicious. Generous portion sizes, very fresh food and super reasonable prices - what more could you ask for. A great selection for vegetarians, such as ourselves, the food is very tasty and they do cater towards vegans (they are very accommodating, in our case they remove cheese from pastas and pizzas if asked). The staff are super friendly and attentive, the small venue is very cosy with Italian decor, and I would recommend to book a table if you plan to come here as they are often exceptionally busy - especially during lunch and dinner times. I am partial to their pasta, though having tried their pizza as well, the pizzas are also delicious! Quite a thin and nicely crisp base with a generous layer of sugo and mozzarella on top. We look forward to many more visits here! 😁

We had some starters/sides and pizza. I had a gluten free pizza and it was honestly the best gf pizza I’ve ever eaten! It was so soft and fresh. The pizzas are a great size too! Pricing is so reasonable and the atmosphere is nice and cosy. If you haven’t been yet, defo go and sit it. It’s fantastic 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thank you Tonino’s!

My friend had a the marguerita pizza which came with barely warm chopped fresh tomatoes on top. She had taken me out for my birthday and if she hadn't been paying for the lunch I would have complained on her behalf. My meal was good and it was shame.

Always have delicious food here . Service is always friendly. Sadly had a dreadful experience on Saturday … two tables ( including ourselves) at 17:30.Our order was taken immediately,starter didn’t arrive until 18:30! & only after asking twice where it was. Pizzas arrived at 18:45.Take out service was evidently taking precedence to sit in customers.Needless to say we won’t be returning on a Saturday evening before going to the Theatre! Need to review your service Tonino.

I've dined at Toninos on various occasions. Food is exemplary and consistent. I personally would expect to pay far more for the dishes. Mouth watering. Bursting with flavour. Cooked to perfection. Presentation is First Class. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Toninos is a hidden gem.

You won't get a better pizza than from the award winning Tonino's. A fantastic selection of pizzas or build your own. Excellent pasta if you prefer. A cosy place with a touch of Italy. The excellent staff will look after you well.

Came across this pizzeria on a visit to Greenock. Staff were extra nice and very welcoming. We hadn't booked and the food was excellent. We had a great pizza and a lovely mixed side salad which was plentiful. We finished meal with vanilla cannollis and lattes. Would love to come back here to try their minestrone soup and lasagne which people at a nearby table had. Looked 😋 yummy. Ten out of ten Toninos. Very reasonable prices on menu.
