The Fisherman's Dock in Inverclyde

Phoned for a takeaway and they forgot to send me the gravy. So I called and the gravy was sent to me in less than 6 minutes. Great service.!.

Asked if we could have 1sausage with small chips and was told no, when my chips came they were disgusting, the price for sausage and chips was more expensive than 1 piece of fish with chips, I asked why do they sell one piece of fish but not one sausage and was told that's just the way it is. I'm afraid there are a lot more places that cater for smaller portions and that's where I will be going in the future.

One of us had haddock and chips, the other carbonara. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and great value for money. The service was exceptional and very friendly. Can't praise the place enough; we'll definitely return on our next visit to Greenock.

Ordered from here tonight, food came but they forgot the cans of juice, couldn't eat the food without juice and by the time the delivery driver came back with the cans of juice the food was freezing and barely edible, ended up in the bin. I phoned the restaurant because I didn't think the delivery driver was coming back he took so long and it didn't seem like they cared that my food was freezing or that I waited so long on the juice ... it wasn't just a cheap order it was nearly £50 and they just didn't care. Won't be ordering here again.

Nice experience a blend of cafe'chippy vib with background music. The win was the nice service we received. Fish lunch was good cooked fresh.

First day in Scotland on a very long time. Food was great. Service was great! Thank you

Had a BLT taken a while to come out, the food was good but a bit too much garlic butter on the bread otherwise it was solid.

The breaded fish was really wonderful. It was crispy, tasty and golden. Love the mushy peas, it was good to eat with the fish, so as the tartar sauce. Yet, the chips can be deep fried a bit better to make them more crispy. The curry sauce in another dish was lovely as well. Love the little spiciness coming from the black pepper, but the flavours were rich with coconut milk and other spices as well. Just a little reminder, if you want to sit-in, remember to ring the bell outside, and someone will come out and serve you. The sign is not too obvious to show that you need to ring the bell. Anyway, the foods are pretty nice and you can tell the efforts in preparation.

After our last restaurant was going to be an hour wait we quickly made it here with two hungry kids. It was quite tasty and the inside was clean. Whew! I loved my steak pie and the kids Mac and cheese was super good. Thank you for rescuing some hungry travelers!

I came in here just to get out of the rain and ended up having quite a good feed that was worthy of an expensive restaurant! The staff are very nice and friendly as well. Just down from the train station, which is also very handy. Highly recommended.

By far the best fish and chips in greenock can't wait to go back sometime

On a whistlestop visit we enjoyed some excellent food On a steamy night we sat outside at the few available tables. My friend had a monster 2 fish, Cod & chips I had loaded fries with steak, onions and peppercorn sauce. It was all perfectly cooked and delicious Cups of tea washed it all down. More time would have been nice but another engagement pressed😱

Very poor quality breakfast, x 2 dumped in a pizza box, didn’t get order correct, deep fried sausages, x 2 eggs that has a scattering of black residue all over, bacon was undercooked and greasy… unfortunately both where put in the bin

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and it was empty. Food took half an hour to come😅 Carbonara tasted really good but the veggie breakfast was just okay. They didn’t have any mushrooms. We finished our meal and the drinks (just tea and coffee) still hadn’t arrived so we left without having the drink. the environment was really nice tho, clean tables but the cutlery was dirty and disgusting………………

My daughter ordered tonight for my birthday treat was over half an hour on delivery and when we got it oh my goodness was so greasy batter on fish wasn't good full of bones which I know they can't help that !! And gravy was so salty auck ! Safe to say it was put in bin waste of money will never order from here again

Help given with wheelchair access. Great fish and chips/pasta in the restaurant. Courteous and polite staff.

Wat a joke I ordered a chip roll and gravy and single sausage at 7.50 and they didn't show up til 10 at night bloody shocking I told them ti leave I ordered a Chinese instead 😂

A great wee' chip shop that's well worth a visit. Fisherman's dock has a good menu for both food and drinks. On the odd ocassion there can be a slight delay if your getting something to take away so it might be worth calling ahead. Overall it's a good place for a bit of grub.
