An authentic look of Sicily with great service and amazing food. Felt very welcome.

I had the misfortune to attempt to go for a meal here this evening. A gentleman arrived with his assistance dog. A member of staff approached the gentleman and told him that dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, the gentleman tried to explain that his dog was a trained assistance dog, but the staff member just said no dogs are allowed. The staff member was asked what about guide dogs for the visually impaired? He stated they are not welcome and would have to be left outside. I decided that I was not going to eat there, especially as the disabled are not welcome !!! Avoid at all costs.

Absolute hidden gem! Food was gorgeous and delicious. Service and vibes were enjoyable.

Have had the pleasure of eating at Bella Sicilia numerous times, the team deliver great food and excellent service, restaurant is run by lovely people who always make you feel very welcome, on this occasion we booked the Italian night with live music, it was a fantastic evening, highly recommend.

Great place. Delicious food. Excellent starters and main courses. Delicious drinks and excellent Italian beer. Full commitment and care of the owner of the place for our satisfaction with each dish we ordered. The place is friendly to families with children. Intimate, family atmosphere. Lovely food, good size portions and great service. Good value for money too. If you like Italian food and live in the Kettering area, this is a great place to go. Parking can be a little tricky though you can always use the nearby public car park which is free after 6pm.

I didn’t expect the inside of the restaurant to look so nice from the outside, from a reasonably busy road outside to feeling quite authentically Sicilian inside. The food was really excellent, and reasonably priced. I had the guiseppe pizza. Definitely recommend this, however the pasta options also had good reviews from my fellow diners. Could do with more clarity in the menu for vegan/gluten free options. (If there were any)

We were waiting for the food 2 hours. If they are busy they should not accept orders.

This is a beautiful restaurant. Arturo is very friendly and establishes an informal and welcoming atmosphere where you can enjoy excellent Italian food. The fillet steak is exceptional but my friends ' sea bass and risotto were equally excellent. The tiramisu was lovely. The road outside may not be so attractive but don't be put off. The restaurant is very well worth visiting!

We enjoyed our Diavola Pizza a lot. For our Pasta, I had the Sicilian Meat Balls which was ok and my husband had the Bolognese which he enjoyed. The service was outstanding. Overall experience was good, it’s worth trying.

My wife and I had a fantastic first time experience dining at Bella Sicilia last weekend. Arturo, the owner took time to come over to our table and introduce himself, which was a nice touch. Really vibrant atmosphere in the restaurant and the food is absolutely fantastic. Quality ingredients, excellent wine list (highly recommend the 2021 Amira Nero D'Avola), friendly and attentive staff. I have to say the prices are very reasonable too, considering the quality of the food. We will defiantly be back to the restaurant soon and worth noting they offer a takeaway service too. Not tried that yet but it looks like there are some extra offers available if you download their app. Keep up the excellent work, Arturo & Team!

Daughter (11) review. When we first arrived, we were unsure whether it was open or closed. However when we got greeted warmly inside it turned out to be a cozy authentic restaurant. As we received our menus there was a wide variety of options to choose from. Although there was only 2 of us and there were bigger parties of people we got served in good time. Speaking of time the wait was fairly reasonable after we ordered our food. I ordered a Spaghetti Bolognese which was scrumptious and I devoured every bit. The meat was cooked perfectly and the sauce was a perfect amount and the spaghetti had good flavour and came in a good portion. Then he ordered a veal in white wine sauce. A real treat and very enjoyable. The service was attentive and we did not had any problems. They weren't over doing it with the kindness or pestering us. We ordered 2 mains and a couple of drinks with 2 sides and overall it was a good cost almost on the cheap side. I would expect to pay double the price in other restaurants what serve veal. Overall great experience definitely coming back, if you wanted to go to a restaurant that feels like you were back in Italy this would be the place to go.

Wonderful meals for our anniversary my wife chose the lamb and I the sirloin steak come with vegetables the portions are very generous and cooked in various cream sauces.

If you want to taste the truly Italian pizza and cuisine in general, then this is the place to go. 2nd to none! It took me one bite to become a regular customer here.

You can't miss with this place; they serve the best pizza in Northamptonshire, and possibly in the entire UK. I'm absolutely amazed and impressed! Kudos to them—this is authentic cuisine, and they truly know their craft.

I was at Bella Sicilia with my husband yesterday, 7th April, and we were so welcomed by Arturo. Who visited Italy knows how the food is incredible and this family restaurant in Kettering has a proper Italian food, very tasty and fresh. I strongly recommend it and I can’t wait to go there again.

it's a 4 star as I asked for no sala on my food and they put it on and but the sides and deserts where good and I recommend the pizza I loved it when I got it last time and the bathroom was clean and the drinks where good

Generally wouldn’t be an Italian dinner, however I heard this place was good. The food was lovely and the staff were very friendly would highly recommend. The bruschetta is to die for !

Took my mum for her 80th birthday with 14 members of our family. Arturo and his family gave us such an a memorable night and made my Mum so happy. I’d like to thank you too and your beautiful family from the bottom of my heart. My Mum, with her sister and brother that had came up from Bournemouth enjoyed their self’s so so much. Even more so when you got the accordion out to sign happy birthday to my mum, then got them all up dancing!!! Amazing night with amazing, home cooked Sicilian food!! Xx One Love Guys!! Ordered a meal for two. Parma Ham & Melon didn’t arrive with the order. A yellow highlighter was placed over Parma Ham & Melon on the receipt which says they knew there was no Parma Ham & Melon. No refund or substitute. Feel cheated by Bella Sicillia so will not use them again.

I have been to Bella Sicilia on a few occasions and the food and service is always absolutely fantastic. Food comes out fresh and the team are very attentive. Prices are also very fair!

We had a lovely Works Christmas Meal last week, there was 8 of us in our party and the restaurant staff couldn’t do enough to help, I am in a wheelchair and they moved the table around to accommodate me. The food was amazing as always and if there was ever any where I wanted to take people for a meal or special occasion Bella Sicilia is always my first choice. If you want the same amazing food at home then this is the place for a take away, it always arrives piping hot and is beautifully presented, my kids always prefer this as our go to option. The manager and lovely staff always make us feel very welcome and can’t do enough to help. Love it 😍 and will return time after time.

Tasty but uninspiring food. The accompaniments to the main dishes are very boring. The veg is uninspiring and meagre. The menu has not changed in years so after a few visits it becomes more difficult to choose a meal. There are no desserts for anyone who has a dairy intolerance, Only 3 desserts to choose from and all contain dairy. Some thought needs to be put into the menu.

Great experience. Lovely atmosphere. Family run business. Really lovely and friendly service. The food was excellent. Simple and delicious, as good food should be. The prices were very reasonable. I enjoyed breadcrumbed mozarella for starters (very generous portion) and it was delicious (I had a bot of a craving for this on the day, so I probably ate too much before my main!) For my main I had spaghetti aglio, olio e peporencino and it was delicious. Just spicy enough.

Fabulous Italian food with authentic Sicilian dishes. Sicilian folk music in the background creates a very nice atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent menu range, good pricing and good range of wines to suit all tastes and pocket depths. Arturo the owner was very kind, helpful, flexible and clearly a very proud Sicilian. This place is a gem, if we lived in Kettering we would be getting frequent flyer points here. Loved it!

I had pasta but was very watery??

First visit in awhile. Previously, thought the prices where high for the quality of food. This is now a restaurant where I believe the quality has increased to a really good level and match the prices. Having said that the prices are as good as any Italian restaurants I have been to recently. They also now offer good sized pizzas as they have installed a proper oven. The pasta is obviously freshly made. Drinks are a good price, I.e cheaper than my local pub!!! Service and atmosphere excellent. Probably advise you to book as well as the Wednesday night was full.

Lovely little family run restaurant, good pasta and home made proper italian pizza with plenty of flavours. They do a good selection of starters and a great bruschetta. Only small criticism is there chicken dishes which come with great sauces that taste great but the chicken breast can be very tough on a couple of occassions we have had it, very chewy and hard to cut which might just need to be cooked in thinner slices and maybe marinated in olive oil before to get it softer and easier to eat otherwise woukd have been 5 stars. The potatoes and veg are lovely as cooked in butter and herbs so plenty of flavour. Loved the ice cream amerreto type dome dessert, they don't have a big dessert menu and unless you like Crem Caramel or Tiramisu you will struggle to find something but still a lovely place to eat and lovely staff.

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice place and the staff were friendly but... very slow service: our experience lasted 2hrs 30mins. The food was nothing to sing about for the pricing (creamy sauce had the consistency of water). We ordered a bottle of wine, after waiting a few minutes informed they had ran out and suggested another bottle; not mentioning the additional £10 cost. 20mins for a lemonade that never came before asking again. No apologies for the slow service but fast on collection of payment. Maybe it was an off night them.

Visited on the advice of a colleague but wouldn't go out of my way to go again. Service as reasonably quick and friendly but the food was uninspiring. The Gamberoni starter was served on-shell, which was fine, but they give you a prepacked towelette to wipe your hands. Why? A dessert bowl of warm water with a slice of lemon and an extra napkin would do a better job and probably save money. The same dish was tasteless. It could have been lifted with any number of herbs and spices but instead it just left you feeling 'So what'. Mains was Spag Carbonara and again it was nothing out of the ordinary. I know it takes a bit more effort to make sure the Pancetta is thoroughly mixed in, but it wasn't here. The other thing about the place is the lack of theming. Plain white walls with no drapes makes for a very noisy place, especially when there's a hen party at one end of the restaurant. The prices are OK but at the top end of what they should be bearing in mind the quality of the cuisine.

Looked forward to a meal here as had been a few times. Tonight though the food was bland and very uninspiring. The mushroom starter was tasteless and not very nice at all. The steak was good and tender but the accompaniment was just sliced potato and carrots. When asked if I wanted potato and veg I thought at least I would get a few different vegetables but alas just some sliced carrot. The saving grace was the tiramisu which was light and tasty. In hindsight I should have chosen pasta of some description. They need to reassess their side dishes. Iceberg lettuce is not tasty and just added to the blandness of the dishes.

I haven’t been here for years; I wished we had been more often as the food is just so fresh, authentic and tasty. We will certainly be returning again very soon to sample more of the menu. Thank you for staying later last night to accommodate our group! Very much appreciated .

Excellent host and food will go again

A married couple, we booked just a couple of days in advance for a Saturday evening, and we were offered 6pm or 8.30; 6 please. Sat in the 'new' alcove at the rear of the restaurant adjacent to the kitchen doors, we had brisk attention from staff, a rather nice red wine and some water soon appeared. This was quickly followed by starters, which were excellent. Mains were no less so; risotto and pasta/meatballs respectively. We shared a tiramisu to finish, which was just a touch too moist on the bottom but tasty nonetheless. The bill was quite reasonable, so no complaints there. We didn't feel hurried, although we were in and out in 90 minutes. Staff were smiley , enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Go here for very good Silicilan food in a cozy setting.

Great birthday celebration at Bella Sicilia. Haven’t visited for a few years now but the food and service were as fantastic as ever. This restaurant has great atmosphere and a wide variety of tasty dishes and caters for all dietary needs. Will be visiting again when I can.

After having several meals delivered to our home by Bella Sicilia both during and outside of lockdown, we decided to pay a visit to the restaurant to celebrate our daughter's graduation. Although the premises are relatively small, there is a clean, spacious feel and we were made to feel very welcome by the owner/manager. Having gone there with the intention of ordering a chicken dish, I instead opted for Straccetti Al Pepe Verde - fillet steak with green peppercorns and asparagus. Sometimes when you go out to a restaurant, you eat a meal and think 'that was very good/very tasty etc'. Far less frequently, you eat a meal and think 'wow, that was fantastic'. Happily, this was one of those latter occasions and the other members of my family were very happy with their choices too. If you're in the Kettering area and haven't been to Bella Sicilia, give it a try.

Visited here last night with family. The food was absolutely outstanding. It was so fresh and really authentic. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was homely and cosy. This was my first visit here and I can’t wait to come again. The tiramisu was to die for!!

My husband and I had the most wonderful first meal here. The steak was of beautiful quality and cooked to perfection, not to forget the tiramisu - to die for! Friendly staff who were very attentive. Would absolutely recommend!

I have been to this restaurant numerous times and will always return. The quality of the food is incredible. I went with my Dad and boyfriend today and I had fillet steak with cream, mushrooms and prawns. My Dad had lamb fried in breadcrumbs with a dolcelatte sauce and berries and my boyfriend had a fillet with dolcelatte sauce. You don’t need steak knives as a butter knife would cut the melt in your mouth steak and the portions are huge. We also had the mussels with white wine and chilli and tiramisu and cannoli. Honestly the food is absolutely sublime, high quality, fresh and tasty!! The atmosphere and service is also top notch. A proper family run restaurant and I can’t recommend it highly enough. This place is absolutely amazing!!
