Prezzo in Kettering

I dont understand the bad reviews. Service was amazing, quickly brought out our food which was very up to standard in mine and my boyfriends opinion especially for the cheap prices. Staff were polite and efficient. We ordered the Dolce Piccanto pizza and the Rigatoni Arrabbiata- both perfectly cooked and served. Thank you for having us ❤️

DISASTER AVOID!!!!! Purchased a family meal via a delivery service from Prezzo in Kettering. The order was missing a main meal, with three other elements either missing or incorrect. When I contacted the restaurant they could not have cared less and didn’t want to know didn’t offer to try and help rectify the situation and just said, “well you should have ordered it through us”. As far as the food went it was also poor, prepared with no care or attention and arrived cold. It’s the second time we have had a similar issue with Prezzo in Kettering, gave the benefit of the doubt for the first time, we will not be using Prezzo again. One to avoid!

Not great I'm afraid Prezzo Kettering. We arrived for our Mother's Day meal to be told that just about half the menu was not available . We were disappointed but ordered anyway as it was a miracle that we all got together, plus we wouldn't have got in anywhere else anyway. The food came out and I was amazed at how little there was. I had the Tuscan sausages on a bed of lentils. They were ok but the sauce had no depth of flavour.The over riding taste was of pepper which just made it hot, not flavoursome. Nothing else with it either, no potatoes, pasta or vegetables. Also I think that as times are very hard for people three sausages and some lentils for £18.50 is a disgrace! Towards the end of the evening (about 9pm) the kitchen staff began to clear away and clean up swiftly followed by waiting staff. This spoilt the atmosphere of my special meal. I've been eating at Prezzo Kettering for about 12 years and in that time I have noticed a slow decline in the standard and size portions of food. I really do think that they are only good at pizza and pasta these days. It's a shame and I'm afraid I won't be going back anymore.

Went to Prezzo in Kettering for a pre Birthday meal for my daughter, son in law,and 2 grand children.We had a lovely evening together,with good food, excellent service and nice atmosphere.

The portion of crab and lobster ravioli was too small. I had 5 or 6 ravioli.

Ordered 3 pizzas and received only 2. Called the restaurant and I had someone keep repeating to contact just eat as the driver probably kept the pizza for himself. Was for birthday guests and I could not eat the other 2 pizzas as they were left on the floor, not handed. Prezzo had no intention to escalate, investigate or to try to help with the inconvenience created by their contract with just eat.

Food very pricey and seabass dish very small

Paid for 3 pizzas for a birthday, had a driver who runned after pressed the call bell. He choose to keep the pepperoni pizza and left only the other 2 on the ground in front of the house. Called Prezzo and had someone talking like a robot keep asking me to inform just eat. No action to support with the inconvenience caused. Definetly will not use in the future

Lovely meal and good service. Reasonable value for money but the drinks are quite pricey. Also they no longer offer the hazelnut bombe on their dessert choices.......although that was quite a few years ago. It was our favourite dessert!

Lads Night out So we were out on a Saturday night out. Neve was fantastic at serving us Really excellent customer service and the food was great A really good laugh tonight and we will definitely return

We had a fun evening celebrating a colleagues birthday. Food was delicious. We had vouchers so the cost was reasonable for food and drinks.

Lovely place, great food and service just -2 stars as I hate the cashless practice which has become the norm here, and I have to be honest, it normally means I don't come. I think having the option to choose is much better for individuals and society on the whole and I struggle to support businesses who don't offer this

Was really busy with Christmas parties but the service was still of the highest order so really cannot fault the staff in anyway and the food was delicious!

Very disappointed!! We went tonight as a walk in appointment and the new manager offer us a table in a corner which had garden dirty chairs!! The restaurant was very empty. We asked for a different table and we’ve been told they are very busy when clearly weren’t . Racism is unacceptable!! We couldn’t believe it in a empty restaurant they didn’t want to give us a normal table . Disgusting!!

Been there twice in last few weeks with friends and both times we have been soooo impressed. Food has been fab and service fantastic. Shout out to the manager Simon and his team who really went above and beyond today!

Lovely atmosphere in this restaurant. Food was nice, fresh and well presented. I got the chicken Alfredo which was lovely bit just wish the portion was a bit bigger. Staff were friendly and happy to help.

Ive been coming here for years, this time I had the crab and lobster ravioli which was really nice, but the portion size was a rip off, so i wouldn't recommend it. The seabass was much better value

Hot food and service started well All Food came out together for a big party ……………of 16 Though very disappointing When the staff all stood by the door in their coats waiting g to go home and a party of 16 are still In the restaurant. We paid £40 service charge to be made to feel we had overstayed our welcome at the restaurant ! It was only 21.10ths !!!! Never will I eat there again and as for the service charge your staff didn’t deserve it in the end Wished we had asked them to remove it! Also what’s with the no cash 💵??

To be honest i like everything in the restaurant. But when it comes to the payment we’ve been told that they are not accepting cash money. I believe that the customers have right to pay with cash. If you don’t have your card with you it’s a big issue. I hope the restaurant management should consider this matter.

Very good looking place. Great location. Hanna was a very kind and patient server. Overall the food was very tasty. I had chicken Alfredo pasta it was good but the pasta itself tasted plain. The sauce and dressing was very nice. My partner had Bolognese pasta and she did not complain at all. Very fast service, and the food was served in a matter of minutes.

My chicken and pepper pizza was very mean on ingredients little chicken , few raw pepper slices, and not much cheese. Very disappointed for £15. My partners calzone he said was very nice.

16 £ for pasta way too much with no service on it :) disappointed and will never come back. Did ask the waitress why check back has not been done or if everything was fine with the food and not missing anything, have been told there is only 2 on the floor serving, and it wasn’t that busy 👎👎

We were brought a voucher to eat here by our daughter and her fiancee. When we arrived, it was 6pm and quite full. There was a table of three adults and a load of children who were really noisy and running around, which did not help the atmosphere today. Unfortunately the adults were not supervising the children. It is a restaurant, not a creche and parents should understand this. If they take their children out to eat, then they should make sure it does not impact other restaurant users. The food was great, the service exceptional, but was spoilt by the unruly family.

First vist here for a few years and was pleasantly surprised. Lovely chilled out vibe & great decor. Our waitress was fabulous and very helpful when choosing food, I'm a picky eater. We weren't rushed out the door which is nice when only two of you are eating. Great chilled evening.

I dined in this restaurant with my wife and my son, hoping for a nice relaxing meal on a Sunday afternoon. How wrong was I, really small portions and tasteless to say the least. I had meatballs as starter and spaghetti bolognese. The meatballs were warm not hot , considering we were the only diners in the restaurant, there should be no excuse! The Spaghetti Bolognese was even worse, the smallest amount of bolognese sauce it was embarrassing. There was no taste at all. Remember this dish cost £13.95!!!! The only saving grace was my sons Pizza which was nice and he enjoyed it. My Wife had the risotto which also ok. If you want an overpriced below average meal then please go to this restaurant. I WONT BE RETURNING!!!!

We were warmly welcomed by the manageress who allowed us to chose which table we preferred. She was very smiley and took pleasure in demonstrating her good customer skills. The Spaghetti Carbonara was very tasty and lots of garnish. Unfortunately, it had been left to stand for a little while before being served and as a consequence the sauce dropped to the bottom. A light toss before serving would have over come this issue. The chicken was delicious and a good size portion The staff all worked hard to ensure the restaurant was very hygienic, well done. Thank you for a good dining experience.

Very disappointed! Meal was dry and looked like it had been reheated in a microwave. Very small portions and well over priced. Service not great.

I recently dined with friends at Prezzo Kettering, at the end of our meal we asked for the bill and my 2 friends had a gift voucher which entitled them to 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 desserts and 2 glasses of wine when this was produced the waitress informed them they could not use the voucher as they did not state they had one when we arrived for our pre booked table, if she had known they had one they would of been given a different menu. The menu we were shown was not a full menu and we actually tried to order the lasagne and were told they had none. To top it all you could not pay by cash. Just sloppy service, food was not great a very dry chicken burger, not presented nicely, A gift voucher is always produced when you pay the bill in any other shop or restaurant so get it right Prezzo, train your staff!

Expensive - via Uber Eats, and portions very small. We ordered the festive burger, beef in chianti and truffle chips! All flavours were nice but the portions are tiny (for the price paid). The pommes Anna amounted to 1 small potato. The beef in chianti amounted to 3 fatty pieces of beef and lots of shallots. The burger was very small and looked dry! That said, what we did eat tasted very nice. But I will not be ordering from there again as it really is not good value for money!!! Disappointed.

Me and my partner popped in here for dinner. Lovely relaxing environment, very attentive servers and food was beautiful! My partner recommends the truffle fries to anyone who eats here! Will definitely be going back!

1 Choritzo ravioli for £12.45 ! Thought it was a child's portion!! It works out at £1.77 per square!! 7 squares in total!! A complete joke!! We complained but nothing was done! Didn't,t even get a lettuce leaf with it!! My light pizza was ok , but we were disgusted with the ravioli! Prezzo need to sort this out!! There are better places than here! We will go elsewhere in future!! Very disappointed!!

Not good, pizza was cold and the 2 ‘new’ pasta dishes were bland and dry, we were given salt and pepper in paper sachets you get in a cafe and were given dry Parmesan in a tiny little dish. Staff made no effort to compensate and told us that they’ve given bad feedback to the kitchen before but nothing gets done. This is not the staffs fault, it is clear there is a culture in this business that creates apathy.

Although the website stated that the restaurant was open until 9.30, when we arrived at 7.15 we were made quite unwelcome by the member of staff who was unsure whether she could fit us in to the empty restaurant since they were closing at 8pm for staff training. On the basis that we would only have one course, we were allowed in. Subsequently, the pizza was excellent and the service from the male member of staff, who told us that we didn't have to rush to finish our meal, was also excellent.

We came in for a meal last night and were blown away by how beautiful the atmosphere instantly was, everyone around us was laughing and smiling whilst being served some amazing-looking food! All of the staff seemed to be enjoying themselves whilst working hard but...

We arrived early but was seated straight away. We were served our drinks while we chose from the menu. We both had pasta dishes, They were both very tasty as were the cheesy garlic bread and stuffed mushrooms. All served in good time by friendly staff. I can't fault the evening. Excellent.

A quiet Saturday afternoon and in we went with our grandchildren. Enjoyed our Pizzas very much and our granddaughter enjoyed the children’s meal and the spaghetti with meat balls that she had chosen. The food has always been excellent, the staff attentive and friendly, but this last visit has put me off returning.There were 8 of us in our group, and we had a variety of dishes, all of which were spot on, and the portions are a generous size.Drinks are a little pricey, but not exorbitant.The restaurant was clean and the staff were on the most part great.What spoilt the evening, was that after paying and sitting back down, I noticed there had been a service charge added to the bill. I had tipped the staff, too.There had been no mention of a service charge whatsoever, not on the online booking form, not by staff when we had sat down and not when I had gone to pay.There is only a note in tiny writing at the bottom of the menu, saying there would be a service charge of 10% added to any group of over 7 people.I'd never been with a big group before, so had never come across it.Not impressed that this had been all but hidden unti it was too late.Unless someone really wants to come back, I'll be going elsewhere in future.

Pizza was disgusting. Had hardly no cheese. The bottom was burnt but the top was soggy. There was a hair in the garlic bread! Wouldnt recommend or go again.

I have just had 2 meals last week here. The new manager Zak was extremely attentive and very caring to our evening out. Table was late both times. The meal first night wasn’t exactly what i ordered, but was soon sorted and a free drink!! Upon arrival we waited to be seated, several staff members passed us and not one showed us to our seat. I had to approach someone at the bar to ask to be served and a young girl responded with ‘I am washing the cutlery, because we have none’! After some very late meals and drinks orders, we decided to order dessert, we waited 30minutes and they never arrived, so, we decided we would just get the bill instead. It then became apparent that the young inexperienced staff had not ordered our desserts and just stood there looking VERY confused by it all and blamed each other!Now, the only upside to our evening was that the food was great! If it wasn’t for the fact this restaurant is poorly managed, we may have returned for the food!

Great food but unfortunately extremely slow service so put off coming here again. Be warned it’s takes time so don’t be in a hurry.

I would just like to say the new manager is AMAZING. He knew everything that was going off, kept his eye on all proceedings. Had to wait for our table as we were early, he couldn't apologise enough. Waitresses keen and polite, attention to detail was good. Good atmosphere, food good, service good, you felt as if the staff cared.

Decided to go for a meal out for a friends birthday who loves Prezzo! Unfortunately the corby restaurant was fully booked, so decided to try kettering. I have never experienced such slow service/ can’t be bothered attitude when dining at a restaurant. We were seated by a server who looked as though she was annoyed we had turned up. Took 15 mins to get our drinks order when asked what we would like to drink we advised we were ready to order food too, in which she stated she would take after she had taken our drinks order. Drinks ordered and she’s advised us she’ll take our food order when she comes back with the drinks??! Another 10 mins later our drinks arrive. The girl who brought the drinks over had to take the glasses from the table as the first server didn’t bothered and was confused when we asked if we could order. We waited another while for food to arrive whilst we can see the chefs sat talking doing nothing about getting food ready. All in all the service was shocking, nobody wanted to be there and they really couldn’t be bothered whether their guests were enjoying their meal. I had to walk to the bar to ask for the bill where the supervisor just stared at me as if asking for the bill was a ridiculous question. A part from the service, the food was nice when it arrived and the restaurant was clean and tidy.

I recently went to prezzo with about 3 friends and we were provided with fast service and our food was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed our experience at prezzos and are hoping to come back soon!

Be prepared to wait around to be served, under staffed but the food was very nice and had a nice festive menu

Enjoyed a lovely meal today with my husband. Always a good choice of food of a consistent quality. Pizzas are well presented and delicious. Wine is not cheap but the quality is good. The atmosphere is family friendly but is also great for couples.

Came here for lunch with a group of friends and enjoyed every minute of our time there. It is a clean and airy place with good menu choices and politely helpful staff.

As always Prezzo in Kettering is a great night out with my kids and mrs. Food is bang on and the service is amazing. Keep up the good work and I'll keep coming

We was the only people in there for 90% off the meal! Waitress we on the computer in the corner chef was on his phone in the kitchen where everyone can see. Food was average dessert came with empty cream pot was no point even trying to get someone’s attention as they all were chatting at the bar took forever to get the bill I think they even forgot we was in there

Recently met a friend in here for dinner. Service was great, 2 lads running around getting everything sorted themselves but handled it really well, there was a big party in of about 8 people and a few dotted tables of 2, so plenty for 2 lads to do especially when they are the ones doing drinks and Ning food and doing their own desserts! I don’t think there was ever any really long waits. Food was hot and amazing, thank you for a great night

Come here every couple of months with either friends or family. Always great food, service has been a bit slow occasionally (due to not enough staff) but staff have always been super friendly. Definitely my go to place when I can’t decide what to eat! Plus it’s always got offers on, so can’t complain about the price

We went to Prezzo recently, as soon as we stepped into the restaurant a waitress came to us, she was really welcoming. The food was really good and we had a view on the open kitchen so we could watch the chef cook the pizzas. I highly recommend this place.

Good meal, good service for two adults and two children. New sharing mini pizza starter very good. Good main courses. Desserts were very tasty if a bit expensive. Total bill for 4 came to £81
