I called in for lunch with some friends at the copper pot, what a gem of a place. Absolutely lovely inside and spotlessly clean. Simon and Diane are great hosts and the food (particularly all the homemade cakes) are delicious as well as being excellent value for money. I honestly cannot recommend the copper pot enough and can guarantee that although I am not local to the area I will be calling in whenever I am nearby.

Yesterday was our first time at the copper teapot and it was lovely a little cafe, the staff who work there are very welcoming and polite. The food was lovely and their cakes were delicious I would highly recommend the copper teapot to anyone.

This was amazing iv been to quite a few afternoon tea's but this was by far rhe best food was delicious and service was friendly and they couldn't do enough for you.

We have just visited here and the food was really good and the cake was out of this world. Large portions and decent prices, will definitely be visiting again soon.

Beautifull and very comfortable layout. Smashing hosts. Food prepared to order and fresh when delivered to your table. Any salad garnish you would swear was picked fresh from the garden. If you find room for it the cake display is all that and more, you won't be disappointed. Parking on the street should not present a problem, absolutely fantastic little find. Well done Simon and Diane for perfecting such a lovely spot. We will be seeing you again, soon.

What an absolutely delightful tea room! The owners are so welcoming and friendly. All the produce is top quality and fresh. And most importantly....SUPER tasty. The chicken, cheese and mango chutney panini is delicious! I will definitely be back for more....and to try the homemade cakes too 😋🥰 Thank you Diane & Simon. See you again soon! Rach xx

I come for coffee every week and I have to say its the nicest little tea room I've ever visited. Diane and Simon are super friendly and make everyone feel very welcome. Diane made us an afternoon tea this week...Wow!!! Can't rate it highly enough, everything was totally fab and we got sooo much to eat!! All very fresh and very delicious! Never tasted a trifle like Diane's...absolutely amazing! Love love love the Copperpot ❤

Called in with my daughter for tea and cakes down in our little village . First time for our visit and will not be our last , good selection of delicious cakes , scones , brownies etc as well as great selection of teas and coffee they also do breakfasts and lunches which we will be sampling at later dates . I had a cream tea with fruit scone it was lovely everything is home made and prepared

It’s the second time we have visited here ..absolutely lovely little tearoom ….decorated nicely and homely …. fantastic service by Diane and Simon who are always friendly and chatty ……we have had ploughman’s style afternoon tea today ….food gorgeous as always and fresh …and the desserts are all home made by Diane …..Thanku Diane and Simon will defo be back soon

I visited for the first time on Friday with my partner and 2 friends. Outstanding food and service. Lovely atmosphere, relaxed and friendly staff. Definitely will be back!

Dropped in at the Copper Pot for lunch while out in the area on business. What a great little place . Warm welcome, great selection of freshly prepared food . I had cheese and pickle my partner a lovely panini. Both served with a fresh side salad . Pushed for time we didn’t try the cakes however they looked delicious. We will be back .

Little gem of a cafe. Warm welcome, even though we had not booked ( but I would recommend booking) as its nice and cosy. Food was freshly made and delicious. I would recommend the chicken panini. We're trying a cake next time. Giving us a good excuse to go back, as though we need one!! Well done Simon and Diane!!

Visited for first time with my mum today. Able to park outside. Very welcoming. Good choice of lovely tea room food. And great value for money.

Well at short notice we popped in here for our first ever visit to an old work colleague…A snug little place, with a warm welcome. Nice coffee and a cracking panini. The follow up coffee and walnut cake didn’t disappoint as a finale to what was a very pleasant surprise. We will return soon :-)

Would highly recommend, fantastic and friendly and food delicious. Nothing too much trouble and even had a special request for a 7 year old to have Halloween theme for her afternoon tea and it didn’t disappoint. Amazing place and thank you Diane and Simon 🥰

Turned up slightly late (nearly closing time) but was warmly welcomed in. Very clean warm and friendly atmosphere. Had a lovely lunch with time to chat. Will return soon !

Absolutely amazing afternoon tea at The Copper Pot today. The afternoon tea was very well presented, with delicate, tasty sandwiches, gorgeoushome made cakes and scones, trifle and a chocolate mousse. There was so much I'm sure we could have fed 4 people instead of 2...

Visited with friends for lunch. We hadn’t booked but were accommodated without a problem. The food was really nice as was the service. Complying with the restrictions and gave our names and phone numbers as we didn’t have the NHS covid app.

Lovely, friendly, family run cafe. The cakes are so beautiful and they also do amazing afternoon tea delivery with all the china crockery included. It’s the perfect place to drop in and taste their fantastic home made treats.

We found this little gem just off the main High Street in Darton Barnsley on Mill Lane. Very pleasant surroundings and an amazing space. Very nicely decorated. The owners are very polite and like to greet you. They have a breakfast menu up until 11am....
